This property was great. It had everything I expected and was exactly as I thought it would be. I would recommend this property to others and I would stay here again.
Wonderful chalet for the winter season! Located on a lovely property with lots of space to explore. Kitchen is spacious and very enjoyable to cook in. Beds are comfortable. Lots of space in the house for a large family.
Jennifer, the owner, was gracious enough to cut a Christmas tree from her own property for us to use. Such a wonderful host and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
Thank you for offering up your chalet to rent!
Beautiful Spacious Home
We had a really wonderful time here.
The house was beautiful. It had been decorated for fall and was lovely. Very much like a really nice home-from-home and not a typical dusty cramped cottage from childhood...
Jennifer, the owner, made us feel very welcome. Agree with other reviewer she is a pet lover!
The place is very spacious, clean, and has lovely views.
We enjoyed the open concept but also the library room which is cosy.
The garden is big but when we arrived (3rd week of october) there was snow and leaves on the ground and most of the garden furniture had been taken indoors. So it wasn't as appealing as inside. However, our dog enjoyed it and we will return in summer to enjoy the sunshine and balcony.
The area st adolphe is quite unique... It is a small village. It is not sophisticated and the busy time is summer for the lake. So if you want fancy restaurants, theatre, cinema, and happening places. St adolphe is not the place...
It does have good hiking and mountain bike trails (on ski hill) it has a couple of restaurants some allow dogs on terrace. Prices reasonable. Has a few stores (pharmacy, small general store, garage & SAQ, etc)
If you need to get away from the city with the creature comforts Jennifer's place is great.
The house is less than two min drive to centre of village so not remote if you need supplies from local shop. We walked dog it took 5-10 mins. We drove to ski hill with bikes maybe 5 min drive.
Overall we really enjoyed the house and had a great time.
