Coming to Daytona Beach? Our centrally located condo has everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Located on the 12th floor with a southern exposure, you are at the highest level for a panaramic view of both ocean and inland waterway. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking!
The ample balcony with comfortable patio furniture is a good place to relax with a cool drink and view the beach and street activity. It is always warm and pleasant during the winter months. In summer the sun is high and is only there for a few hours in the morning. You can even watch a launch from Cape Canaveral.
The kitchen is fully equipped with the latest in modern appliances. Everything you need in small appliances is there for day to day living as is tableware. Wall to wall patio doors afford a great view of the ocean from the kitchen and eating area. The living room is comfortably furnished for conversation, reading and television. The TV is a 46' HD flat screen with a huge selection of both high definition and regular cable. Again, there is a great view.
The master bedroom has full wall patio doors that let in those ocean sounds and moon light to lull you to sleep. There is lots of closet space, a his and hers. The master bathroom is just to the left. It has a king sized bed, double dresser and 2 bed tables. The 2nd bedroom is ideally equipped to accommodate children and guests. It has a queen bed, 2 dressers and 1 end table. It also has a large closet The adjoining bathroom is straight ahead. It has a tub and shower. A queen sized pull out sofa bed is also available in the living room. All linens and towels are supplied including beach towels. The unit has a laundry room with a large sized washer and dryer.
The Sand Dollar is a 55 unit condominium with heated pool, whirlpool, exercise room, guest foyer, outside beach picnic area
underground and deck parking, sprinkler and alarm systems, reception/office manager and maintenance personnel. It is located 4 blocks north of the Dunlawton bridge on A1A. All units are privately owned.
Service facilities, groceries, entertainment, and restaurants are close by. Some you can walk to. Daytona's International Speedway, Volusia Mall and The Pavillion [movies, eateries, major shopping] are 15 to 20 minutes away. Orlando is about an hour and a half. And of coarse step out the front door onto the World's Most Famous Beach.

Our family has been coming to Daytona beach for the past 25 years. It became part of us. It had everything, the Speed Way, Bike Week, shopping, movies, eateries, entertainment, the Arts, and of course the Beach. Things never got boring and we never got our fill. The kids were happy, we were happy. Our names are Peter and Nancy Teeple. We are now retired
and are still working at getting our fill. Nancy is the condo CEO.

In the course of our 25 years we stayed in a lot of properties. Some on the ocean, some on the road some half way in between, some hotels, some condos, some houses. We decided to buy our own place. After 4years of looking we walked into the Sand Dollar, Unit 1204. It had the 'WOW factor' - the view!, the layout, 12th floor, the facilities, and the Beach. Our search ended! We're happy, the kids are happy.
The owners were extremely accommodating on a last minute rental for our family. The location was perfect- right on the beach with the most awesome views of Daytona Beach! The condo on the top floor of the building had the best deck for morning coffee and that glass of wine at night. The condo had everything you need, the beds were very comfortable, pool was great, and you can't beat the easy access to the beach!
This place is amazing. We really enjoyed our vacation, and this condo fit perfectly. Awesome views from the top floor of the sunrise, the ocean, and the bay area. We watched pelicans fly laps around the condo/shoreline every morning. The condo is very well equipped and it was very comfortable and had a very cozy feel. Having the laundry on site was nice, too. Great beach access. Close to everything including stores, sightseeing, lighthouse, etc. This is an excellent place and the owners are very easy to work with. Thank you for an excellent vacation. Its hard to come back to reality!
We are regulars at Daytona Beach and this was the best condo we've rented here. The condo has amazing views and is well kept up. We started out by having covered parking, with some convenient grocery carts to haul all our groceries up to our room as well as luggage racks for our luggage (this can be a struggle on arrival). The resort itself had excellent security which makes my family feel more comfortable while on vacation. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the beach amazing. The room provided everything we needed including a washer and dryer which is a must on the beach. The Teeples were very easy to work with and even gave us a welcome call upon arrival. We would highly recommend this condo especially for those who like quiet.
We have been staying in Daytona for years and decided to try this condo. Well, we couldn't have been more pleased! The unit itself is beautiful and has all the comforts of home, we especially appreciated the in condo laundry room! The pool and hot tub are nice as well as the grill area, you can grill and eat beachfront! This condo also has amazing views of the ocean and river, and the Teeples are excellent to do business with! They do all they can to make your stay a good one. We will be back next year!
This unit was just as advertised and as nice as we've stayed in. The Teeples are wonderful to deal with and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. The under the ground parking garage was great for convenience and security. I ONLY take off 1 star because of the person in the office and how they handled some things, zero reflection on the Teeples and their unit.
The pictures are exactly as condo is. The unit was clean, beautifully decorated, well equipped with all the comforts of home. The location was very convenient with a short walk to a grocery store and restaurants. Inside parking, exercise room, pool and hot tub. And then there is a spectacular view of the ocean and river. Peter and Nancy have provided all this for a wonderful holiday. The only thing left is to contact "Mother Nature" for good weather. We highly recommend this condo.
