Self-catered 2 bedroom apartment to sleep 4-5 in the Kings Park area of Stirling

Set in the exclusive Kings Park area of Stirling, this exceptional self-catering property sits opposite the main Kings Park gates. There is a solid, high standard, pine floor throughout the whole apartment. The accommodation comprises of one, large open plan living room with French doors; a patio area; garden furniture and a barbecue area; a modern kitchen, equipped to the highest standard; and a washing machine and dryer.

The 2 bedrooms have en-suite facilities and flat screen LCD televisions; both bedrooms have King sized beds (which can be split into two single beds in each room if required) and ample storage space. A foldaway bed is available if required as well as a cot and high-chair if requested.

There is gas central heating and wireless broadband connection available throughout the entire property property.

Stirling is situated at the centre of Scotland and it has direct travel links to many of the major cities in Scotland – including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. There are many attractions in the local area, including, an historic castle which was believed to be the “key to Scotland” in medieval days, many nature walks and hill walking opportunities, numerous fine dining and entertainment establishments and the World’s only boat wheel – the Falkirk Wheel.

There are also many attractions for children all over the local area as well as shops, bakeries and sports opportunities galore as well as a fantastic safari park. There is also a microbrewery, golf course and fishing area should the adults wish to relax too!

Great place. You won't be disappointed with apartment or location! And the tip by the owner to eat at the Inn at Torbrex was a perfect end to a wonderful week in Stirling!

We loved the King's View apartment.

The King's View apartment in Stirling was wonderful. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood, across the street from a gorgeous park in Stirling, the King's Park. The location was also a short walk to the center of town, the railroad and bus stations, and Stirling Castle. It is a very spacious apartment, tastefully decorated in a modern style, with a washer and dryer. The hosts/owners live in the building and were very gracious and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay and the lovely accomodations. We would not hesitate to book this rental if we ever go back to Scotland.

I would like to clarify , in case of any confusion for potential guests reading this, that the owners do not actually live in the apartment! The building is a 3 floor Victorian villa - the ground floor, Kingsview Apartment, has been totally separated from the upper 2 floors where the owners live! The apartment has it's own private front and back door and is totally self contained. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future.

A real gem in beautiful Stirling

We stayed for 2.5 weeks in July/August. We are a family of 4 (2 children 7 and 9). This apartment was perfect for us. A beautiful location right across the street from Kings Park with lots of green space for the kids to run around, large play ground, tennis courts, walking trails, etc. It felt very safe and was a nice quiet, residential area. This area of Stirling is so beautiful. Lots of old beautiful homes and views of Stirling Castle. We were visiting from Canada. We did not rent a car while we were there. We took the train from Stirling and did lots of day trips in the area. Stirling is a very good central location to do that from. It was a 10 min walk to downtown and the nearest grocery store. It took about 20 min to walk to the train station. A few times we took a taxi to/from the train station and it was very reasonable. About 3-4 pounds/each way. Even though this is a basement apartment it has large windows and is therefore nice and bright. It doesn't really feel like your in a basement. The apartment was sparkling clean. It is nicely laid out and both bedrooms were spacious and had their own bathrooms and lots of dresser space. The owners upstairs are quiet and pleasant. We liked to have coffee in the morning outside in our little private garden area. There is a patio set out there. It took a while to figure out how to run the oven and stove top. It's different than North American ovens/stove tops. But we did manage to figure it out. They supplied enough dishwasher tabs/toilet paper for the first few days then you have to buy your own. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Stirling and I would recommend it to my family and friends. The management company was great to deal with. They were quick to respond to emails and easy to communicate with. Our damage deposit was refunded quickly as well.

Great location

There were only two of us but the apartment would also be good for two couples as there are 2 spacious bedrooms with full bathrooms. It is very well located in a nice neighbourhood within easy walking distance to downtown. This was our first visit to Stirling and we really enjoyed it. The kitchen was nice but could have been better outfitted - particularly with a colander, cutting board, more sharp knives and ice cube trays. We had difficulty locking the French doors but the lady from upstairs came down right away to assist us (and quickly brought us some dishcloths as well). Although this unit is in the lower level, it does not feel like a basement and the walk out garden is quite lovely.

Excellent Accommodation

Stayed for our daughters graduation and really enjoyed ourselves. The accommodation was much bigger than we thought and very comfortable, well appointed, and in an excellent location. A pity the weather wasn't better, but it was Scotland after all!

Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a very relaxing stay in a brilliant location.

Very comfortable and the location was perfect.

Clean, quiet and always a comfortable temperature. We used Stirling as a base for exploring the area and we had easy access to everything we wanted to see. The location of the apartment next to a public park and golf course made the morning jog delightful and guaranteed daily Highland cow sightings. Highly recommended!

    At end of your stay, the refundable breakages/damage deposit is refunded onto the card used to make the balance payment. Please ensure that this card is valid beyond your departure date to enable this refund. Failure to use a card valid beyond departure date will incur bank charges to process the refund to International bank accounts.



    Please note that if your booking is placed less than 6 weeks before arrival date full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit must be made on booking.



    BY BOOKING AND MAKING PAYMENT YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT/CANCELLATION :



    Deposit, security payment and payment



    1. A 50% non refundable deposit has to be made by you on booking. This is to secure your booking and represents a booking that will be fully confirmed on receipt of the remainder of the rental fee .

    2. Confirmation of the booking will normally be made to you within 48 hours of receipt of the payment.

    3. Full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit is required 6 weeks prior to the rental period. If you have ticked the repeat payment option to allow us to take the balance payment from the card used on booking, this payment will automatically be taken 6 weeks before arrival date. E mail confirmation of the payment will be sent out.

    4. If a booking is made less than 6 weeks prior to the rental period, full payment plus the relevant amount of refundable breakages/damage deposit is required to secure the booking.

    5. A refundable breakages/damages deposit has to be paid with the balance payment 6 weeks before arrival date. This is to cover any breakages or damage whilst staying in the apartment. It will be returned after the rental period following a complete and satisfactory check of the inventory and property.This can take up to 7 days to show in your account.

    6. Full details of how to get to the house and where the key can be collected will be sent to the person making the booking after full payment has been received and no sooner than 6 weeks before the date of entry.

    7. The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment is not received by the due date.



    Changes to the booking dates



    1. Any change can be made to the booking (subject to availability) before 6 weeks with no charges. However changes may be subject to necessary changes in rental period charges

    2. Any changes to bookings made with less than 6 weeks to booking are made at the owner's discretion and subject to necessary changes in rental period charges.

    3. All changes made with less than 6 weeks to the rental period are subject to a standard charge of £50 or currency equivalent.



    Cancellation Charges



    The client may cancel the booking at any time after it has been confirmed.

    Cancellation must be made in writing.

    Cancellation charges are as follows

    Less than 6 weeks – loss of total rental value, however refundable breakages/damage deposit will be returned.

    More than 6 weeks - loss of 50% non refundable deposit made on booking.



    Please Note: if the owners are able to re-book the cancelled dates, all rental monies paid will be refunded minus a 20% administration fee for each portion of nights rebooked, irrespective of when the booking is cancelled.
