In a quiet location with all you need to make you feel at home from home

The Great Kings complex (built 2007) features a large 20m pool, small children's pool, sunbeds, umbrellas and changing facilities and tennis court all for the exclusive use of residents.

Luxurious 2 bedroom apartment (non-smoking). Large double and twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Fully air-conditioned and heated throughout. Fitted kitchen complete with oven, grill, ceramic hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, breakfast bar etc. Living area furnished to very high standard with comfortable 3 and 2 seater leather sofas, 32' LG LCD TV, satellite, DVD player etc. Living area opens out onto large furnished balcony which can also be accessed from the master bedroom - ideal for dining al-fresco on summer evenings. Space too for drying towels, etc.

Flights: There are numerous airlines (scheduled and budget) flying directly into Larnaca. It is also possible to reach from Paphos. The drive across the island takes over 2 hours on mainly motorway.

Getting there: Transfers can be arranged and there are numerous car hire firms where you can pick up car on your arrival. Alternatively, you can use a local company who will drive you to your apartment and return you to the airport, leaving you with the car for the duration of your holiday.

This is our 3rd time here and, as ever, the apartment had everything to make our stay comfortable. The complex now has security gates and it was very quiet there(wondering if that is to do with recession). There were some feral cats and folks had mixed feelings about their presence. We chose not to feed them. The kiosk had just reopened and it was being run by a lively Irish girl. She was still waiting for her food licence but she was serving drinks and ice creams as well as a few other things. We hope she manages to make a success of things. We always hire a car so had great fun vision all the familiar places. The weather was rainy on a couple of days but it did not hinder our fun.

Everything you need for a relaxing break is within walking distance and the shops on Kennedy Avenue (the main street in Kapparis) stock everything you need. Bars and restaurants are aplenty. Bus services are provided by a company called OSEA and cars can be hired for personal use. we do recommend the latter for exploring the numerous bays and entertainment options in the area. Protaras and Ayia Napa are for those who like things a bit busier! Organised excursions can be booked either through Eman (office in Kapparis) or Julianna. Julianna also provide a car hire service where they will pick you up at airport, drive you to apartment with car and pick you up in time to return you to the airport.

Lovely appartment

I stayed with my husband son and his fiance , plenty of room , a really nice appartment .

We hires a car as it is a walk down to the strip (Kennedy Avenue) but also this gave us the freedom to do what we wanted when we wanted .

The pool area is lovely very big so not on top of each other, We did go september so this may be busier in the school breaks .

Overall a very nice place would recommened

Lovely spacious apartment

Beautifully decorated, clean, airy & spacious apartment in a pleasant complex.

Easy access to the well kept pool & games area.

Within 5 minutes walk to nearest mini market (5 mins drive to large supermarket) only 15 minutes walk into Kapparis (shops & restaurants) and 20-30 minutes walk to stunning beaches.

We had use of a hire car and visited the surrounding area including Agia Napa, Protaris and Cape Greco.

There are also plenty of reasonably priced excursions easily available, we did a day trip up to Kyrenia on the north coast of the island priced at €42 (pick up point close by)

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Lovely apartment and complex

Myself and my family had a lovely time here. Lots of space, lovely kitchen and comfortable living. A car is needed if you want to see the island. Information previous to the stay provided by marion, and she was brilliant help!

Lovely apartment

We stayed in this apartment for two weeks and found it to be like home from home. It has a modern decor, air conditioning throughout (vital, especially at night), a lovely balcony, and all set in a secure complex. There was wi-fi available by the swimming pool which was very helpful as we didn't use mobile networks while we were away. There was live football on the communal television, again situated by the pool, as well as pool and air hockey. The apartment was situated in a quiet area, but this was what we wanted. If you are planning to stay here, we would advise that you hire a car unless you are just wanting to stay very local in Kapparis. We received full instructions from the owner as to how to get to the apartment from the airport, and how to access the gates and locks. We would have no hesitation in booking the apartment again.

Holiday Apartment

The Apartment was nice and clean and there were lots of videos for the children to watch. There were electric fans in the bedrooms as well as the A/Cs, which was fantastic. The apartment was light and airy and the balcony looked out onto nice flowering plants and shrubs. Bathroom was very clean, shower worked wonderfully. The neighbours in adjoining apartments were nice and friendly. Safe place for kids to go down to poolside on their own. Apartments surrounded by wall so safe and secluded from anyone driving past. All in all, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay in the apartment and would definitely ask for the same apartment again. The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking utensils needed and there is a large fridge freezer. The apartment is nicely colour co-ordinated with bedding, towels and furniture. There is also a very nice TV. The apartment is of a high standard. We hired cars for the duration of our stay and when returning to the apartment, it felt like we were returning home because the apartment was so comfortable. My children has said that the layout of the apartment made them feel comfortable.

The area is famous for some of the most spectacular beaches and clear turquoise waters in Cyprus. The village of Kapparis is open all year round and is located between the cosmopolitan resort of Protaras and the traditional town of Paralimni. It is a charming coastal village which boasts an array of restaurants, tavernas, bars, sandy beaches and all year round facilities, all within a 15min walk. Perfect for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday. The local beaches provide shallow water ideal for children and there is a nearby viewpoint in Derynia where you can look over No Man's Land to the 'ghost town' of Famagusta. Within Paralimni there are lots of boutiques and shops to spend your days browsing and the market square with a fountain and sheltered children’s play area are ideal to take a break.
