Amazing and comfortable sea front apartment , just in front the bay of Puerto Pollensa, only a few steps from the beach. The living area included 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with a laundry and a lounge dinner, French windows opening to a beach front terrace. From the terrace spiral stair case leads to a private roof terrace.The address is Calle Bot 2. Corner Paseo London.

Good ish but understand the negatives

The location of the property and the views are excellent but the internal furnishings, bathroom fittings etc are dated and are now of poor quality in terms of current standards of comfort and functionality. More importantly for some visitors the WiFi is practically unusable and the only two English TV channels are BBC international and Sky international. The owner claims that slow broadband is a Mallorca wide problem but high speed connection is available for the price of a coffee at the next several nearby hotels. The traffic management has changed recently diverting large vehicles down the adjoining side road. The apartment is therefore very noisy especially at early morning delivery times. I am dubious about the commercial arrangements which require a 25% bank transfer deposit and the provision of cash in the car park on arrival.

Overall verdict. Great location if you can put up with the negatives. Property needs work in todays market.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location, with amazing views, especially of sunrise.

Very comfortable, well stocked.

Jaume very helpful.

Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance, we loved El Postino and O Lume.

A trip to Formentor is a must, travel by bus one way and boat the return journey.

Top-notch apartment with stunning view

This apartment is truly stunning. Its third-floor penthouse position on the sea front just a few metres from the beach, plus large picture windows, provides the perfect location for a holiday, with amazing views of the bay. It even has a private sunbathing area on the roof above the apartment.

In the apartment the three double/twin bedrooms are reasonably sized, and the two bathrooms are good, although the toilets are rather slow to refill after flush. The kitchen provides all you need - ceramic top hob/oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and loads of crockery and cutlery. The lounge/dining area is very comfortable and well laid out. The partly-shaded balcony to one side of the property with table and chairs is perfect for breakfast with its southeast-facing aspect across the bay.

Wireless broadband Internet and digital TV is provided free. A good selection of English books is available too. Access to the apartment requires you to climb up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Not a problem for us, but may be a difficulty for anyone less mobile. A shaded car parking space comes with the property, with very easy access from the road.

The owner was extremely friendly and personable, providing us with everything we needed to know on arrival. He lives close by so is easy to get hold of if required, although we didn't need to. The apartment's location on the Port de Pollenca seafront means it is just a few hundred metres from the many restaurants and shops of the town, but is pleasantly quiet.

Port de Pollenca is somewhat less commercialised than other areas of Mallorca, probably more suited to family holidays. It is also a popular hub for road cyclists, many of whom undertake their training on Mallorca's excellent roads.

Overall, the apartment is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday and we thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely apartment - It had everything...

My family and I stayed in this apartment during the May half term holiday this year.

We were very impressed with everything about it! From the time we were met, we were made to feel welcomed... The facilities around the apartment were superb, as far as local shops are concerned. The walk into the port centre for dinner was quick & easy and the walk back to the apartment after dinner along the beachfront (with an ice cream in hand!) were exactly what we were looking for and everything about the apartment, was exactly what was stated. The view from the table, as you eat your breakfast is fabulous and the view from the balcony, as you read the paper with your feet up and a nice cold drink, just made the holiday for us...

It was absolutely beautiful and we can't wait until our next Mallorca holiday, when we book it again!

great location

great location and property clean although patio furniture and the kettle had seen better days,,a fantastic roof top terrace but unfortunately no sunloungers or chairs up there to take advantage of the all day sun and lovely views,no full length mirrors just bathroom cabinets with very bright lights making it difficult to apply makeup and contact lenses,Puerto Pollensa has lots of good bars and restaurants,we particulary enjoyed 'Hells Kitchen' for a beautiful evening meal booking recommended and 'Mollies' tasty homemade food,public transport cheap and easily accessable,
