Adorable unit in a GREAT location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is so cute and nicely appointed. We had more than enough room for our two College aged daughters and ourselves. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms well stocked and clean. Loved that we were within walking distance of many excellent restaurants and shops. Also, Magazine Line bus stops just steps from the front door. Busses in New Orleans are clean, cool and efficient. Just a couple of blocks away from the St. Charles Streetcar line. You really wouldn't need a car when staying here, but we had no problem finding street parking. Even though Magazine street is busy, the noise did not translate to the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home in perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in the garden district in New Orleans. Ashley was quick to answer questions and very helpful. The house accommodated our family of five comfortably. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and having two bathrooms is so much better than a hotel room. The neighborhood was nice and many stores, restaurants and the bus were just a couple of blocks away. We love visiting New Orleans and would definitely stay there again. It's just a short Uber ride to the French Quarter and many other sights that make New Orleans special. Look forward to staying again soon!

Great location and home

Everything our family needed and great use of space

We had our family with small kids and on other side was a bachelorette group, but it all worked out just right. New Orleans is a special town and brings out a laid back nature in all. This is a great home to enjoy the town from.

Comfortable Location

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location and comfortable home. Easy walking distance to good eateries in the beautiful Garden District. Nice to be away from the festive French Quarters but simple enough to get there. The kitchen could be better equipped for preparing meals - not all of us can handle fried food like those Southerns! But the place was lovely, clean and comfortable.

Amazing location!

  • 5 of 5

I grew up in New Orleans, so I was really looking forward to showing my family the Garden District and Uptown areas. I couldn't have picked a better house. This bungalow is on a quiet residential block in the popular, walkable Magazine Street corridor. Parking was easy - always within one block or less of the house. Breakfast and coffee an easy morning walk - a wealth of choices, from PJ's Coffee, District Donuts, or yummy Gracious On the Avenue. Take a beautiful walk to historic Lafayette Cemetery for a tour with Save our Cemeteries, or just spend hours strolling around looking at beautiful homes (you can easily google walking tours of the Garden District). Uber to the Quarter for maybe $10 at most, or walk a few blocks and grab a streetcar on St. Charles. The home was very clean and and well considered, with umbrellas, ponchos, maps of the city etc. Gorgeous kitchen. The "kids" room has a clever custom system with two queens side by side and twins above, and privacy nooks with shelving - our kids loved the setup. (It's real built-in wood, not like creaky bunks, so adults can also use easily.) The back "master" bedroom is modest, but it leads to a (shared) screened porch which was a pretty spot to read or have a cocktail. The only slight detail to note is that the walls in the back bedroom seem pretty thin - at night we could sometimes hear the neighbors in the duplex talking and walking around, and they weren't being loud, just normal volume. Easily solved with the white-noise app on our phones! In any case, we'd definitely stay here again.
