Dining table seats 8 indoors and patio table seats 12 on covered patio. Back door entry has a ramp to assist with handicap guests. Front Porch has conversation seating under a huge shade tree, completely fenced, with lawn. Comfortable, casual, air conditioned, and priced right for a favorite getaway. Bring ATVs, Mountain Bikes, or hiking gear to explore the back country. Or go boating & fishing on Lake Powell.

About Sandy

We moved to rural Southern Utah from Salt Lake City for love Lake Powell. Since then, we found so many other outdoor activities this area offers. Paria slot canyons, Vermillion Cliffs, Grand Staircase, Glen Canyon all with awesome rock formations. Leisure time is spent riding ATVs / UTVs exploring miles and miles of scenic back roads and fishing/boating on Lake Powell.

Touring the Grand Circle to see Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Glen Canyon, Grand Staircase, Paria Wilderness Area. Need a relaxing get-away from the city, this rural vacation home is for you. Boat & Jet Ski rentals, Lake tours, horse back rides, slot canyon and scenic hikes, 4-wheel drives into the back country, and other outdoor activities surround this location. Just ask the busloads and thousands of tourists coming to Page, AZ every year. Most of them only see the major tourist attractions and miss all the beautiful back country and many don't even boat on Lake Powell.

What makes this house unique

Lake Powell has so many canyons to explore, especially hiking the backs of canyons. Boat, water ski, fish, swim - all in clear blue waters surrounded by red rock. That's why we came to this area and want to share it with you. Ride your ATVs from this house to miles and miles of back country trails in red rock country.

We would give the owner ZERO star for customer service. We experienced the worst of the worst, dealing with her. The owner lived near the rental house and drove around the premise in the middle of the night, spying on us while we occupied the place. She even texted me @10pm, questioning us about why would certain car was parked on premise. (FYI, that was a rental car with CA license plate number). She threatened us that she would evict our group from the house or pay more money. EVICT!! EVICT!! My kids were panicking after hearing it. They thought that they would have to sleep in the street. Never in my life, have I experienced such an awful person! Only thinking of herself and money. MONEY!! The owner purposely went out of her ways to ruin other people vacation. Shame on you! I also forgot my curling iron in the drawer. She refused to send it back to me even after I offered to pay for shipping. What's a horrible human being you are?

She kept almost all our deposit. Her excuses of the deduction were the light on the ceiling fan was not turned on even though the fan was still working fine. Why would it be our fault for simply turning on and off the light especially the house is so old itself? The lights in the house kept flicking and we didn't complain about it. She accused us of being a thief, stealing her the national park VHS tape junks. We told her that we didn't take them. Who would want VHS tapes nowaday? Trust me, I don't even want them even if after she begged me to take them. There are a plenty of information on the internet and our phones, who would want out-of-date junk? We don't even have a VHS player for the last 10 years.

I told her that I had no knowledge that such thing was even in the house when we got there. Her reply was it was my fault because we arrived late at night. We missed a chance to go over the check-in items list with her in person upon arrival. So now it would my responsibility to pay up. If she mentioned about this in the first place, I would have do so.

For gaining a few extra dollars, she definitely wouldn't hesitate to ruin your vacation.

Must go over all items on the checklist; otherwise, you will pay for it later. The owner will find a way to take all your deposit.

Owner's Response: This rental house is in an awesome, safe neighborhood of friends who know us and we all work together to ensure renters respect the terms of the rental, the house, and the neighborhood. We respect the privacy of all guests and do not drive by the rental during the night. Neighbors alert when anything needs our attention and we are available 24/7 during your stay if you need assistance. We appreciate open communication with guests from time of reservation throughout the time of your stay. Lake Powell Country vacation house is a comfortable haven for your vacation stay. Our rates are based on a group size (8 at this time) and additional guests are welcomed at the time of reservation or when reservation is modified. The extra guest fees must be included in the rental amount paid. It does not work well for us or for our renters when the reservation or rental agreement specify less guests than actually use the property. We welcome your family and friends to our rental house when the rental policy is complied with. Many large family groups and groups of friends have enjoyed staying and playing together at Lake Powell Country vacation house. We provide guests with information about the area, things to do, sights to see, shopping tips,, and any information we can to ensure your vacation is the best. We are available via text 24/7 during your stay at our property. When we find forgotten items, we communicate with renters to arrange for pickup or shipping. Our damage deposit is kept low because renters have been respectful of our property. We return that deposit shortly after check-out and rarely had to use any of it for damages. We are implementing a revised rental agreement for comprehensive understanding of the rental policy and planning to meet all renters for check-in. Nice and clean!

We were so impressed with how clean the house was as we entered. The bedding and sheets smelled wonderful. Beds, blankets and pillows were all super nice quality. We loved the hammocks.

It was a little far from Page, but that didn't affect our plans at all. We had a blast!

We strongly recommend this rental. The owners even stopped by and provided information on the hikes.

Lake Powell is less than 15 minute drive and Page AZ is a bit farther, for shopping. Typically renters of the house want to fix meals, instead of eating out in Page. Great hiking sites close by the rental, plus it is centrally located for Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce, and of course, Lake Powell/Glen Canyon.

We were in Lake Powell for a family boat trip & we loved staying at Country Casa! The house was plenty big, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, washer & dryer were handy for wet clothes, and all it was CLEAN & welcoming! We will definitely try to go back to enjoy the patio and BBQ. This house is truly a treasure!

A great place to stay

This was a lovely and spacious place to stay for our family of five, with great facilities.

It was a short car journey to all the places we wanted to get to.

The owner, Sandy, was very communicative and sent us loads of tourist information in advance.

I thoroughly recommend.
