Bedrooms 1, Bathrooms 1, Sleeps 2
I am an recent transplant to Arkansas but now qualify as a local. I love the entire NWA area and take advantage of all the great outdoor activities that are available. I grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University. I currently own and operate Allplex Property. We manage several overnight rentals in and around Eureka Springs. I also own a hotel called 'Eureka Suites' and several rentals in Oklahoma City.
Why Damon chose Eureka Springs
Eureka Springs is like a magnet. I have always felt a connection to this town. I purchased this unit because of the location. It is very easy to get to any destination. If it is too far to walk, you simply ride the trolly.
What makes this Apartment unique
One of the best benefits about Bella Paradiso is the friendship between the owners. We all enjoy meeting new people, and we frequently relax together on the deck at the end of the day, sharing conversation into the evening. Please come say hello and share some conversation if we are out.
This was a great room for us. A trolley was just a short walk to get too. The trolley system took us where we wanted to go. We also just walked down to the town where we did some great shopping and had wonderful food. Thanks so much. I would recommend this room to my friends.
Amazing Weekend Getaway
It was such a great place to stay for the weekend. Check in and out was simple and easy! The room was magnificent and location was awesome!! We loved every minute of it! We can NOT wait to go back SOON and bring all of our friends and family as well!! :)
Comfortable bed, filthy carpet. We would not return.
This is a remodeled old motel. The hardwood trim is beautiful, bed king size and comfortable. It has great lighting with lamps everywhere besides in ceiling lighting. However, the bathroom is very cramped. The sink is outside the room so I could be brushing my teeth while my husband showered which is nice. It has a settee for two and two chairs. They were very uncomfortable to me and even with pillows I kept sliding around on them. The cushions are shot on them and even though they look cute they are not sit worthy. We did not use the TV but the screen was about the size of my computer monitor so I used my iPad to binge watch in the evenings while knitting in bed. Now let’s discuss the carpet. While the housekeeper did an excellent job in cleaning, apparently the management company (or owner), does not think it is important to respond to their customer concerns. When I booked this room there was a comment about the stains on the carpet. The management responded curtly that the carpets only get cleaned twice a year. I falsely assumed by the time we got there surely this would have been taken care of. We were wrong! Now I can put up with a lot of filth serving as a soldier for 26 years, but this was disgusting. I finally found carpet stain remover at my mothers where we were visiting and spent an hour cleaning the stains out. So for the next guest the carpets are now just dirty ....not stained!
Average stay but look around. Tons of hotels in this tiny town, some with great prices. If you want a true VRBO experience look for a home to stay in, great Victorian homes in town but if you want a clean bed and shower there are hotels everywhere with a good price....and you may want to call and negotiate....everyone has a vacancy sign out.
Bella Paradiso is a motel that was completely remodeled and converted to individually owned condos. The room layout, parking lot area, and outside area is clearly pictured (And is what you would expect from a lodging space). The rooms feature, granite counters, high-end cabinetry, recessed accent lighting, under counter coffee maker, microwave, fridge, and premium fixtures. The carpets are regularly cleaned by Home Town Carpet Cleaning (They are a professional company - feel free to check with them). The carpets are a very light color. Not ideal for heavy traffic, therefore, we must clean them much more frequently than a residential home and the carpet can occasionally show spots in between cleanings, although, housekeepers address that too (with "Spot Shot").
This room is contemporary... the furniture shouldn't be compared to a comfy recliner and the TV is a standard size for a lodging property. (It's bigger than a computer screen as you can see in the pictures). It's disappointing that this guest didn't relay their issues to us during their stay. We have several rooms with tile flooring and more traditional furniture options. As you can see from other reviews, this room exceeds the expectations of nearly every guest.
It was a quiet, enjoyable stay.
For an older property it was very equipped. The coffee maker was a little hard for me to figure out at first. Thanks!
Clean and well maintained
Truly enjoyed our weekend. We will stay here again.
Good location , clean and nice . Needed to call manager once for very minor problem and he was very nice and took care of the problem . The only negative for us was the floor level microwave , very hard to see and use .
Thanks for the great review. This unit is one of the best with in-ceiling lighting, dvd library, and under counter coffee maker. The microwave is under the lower cabinet to provide more usable counter space.
Eureka is full of fun things to do. I typically recommend that you start with a morning stroll through Historic Downtown. Then a nice lunch at the New Delhi Cafe or the Basin Park Balcony Restaurant, followed by a hike to Leatherwood Dam or around Black Bass Lake. Also, an afternoon horseback ride is another good option. Before the end of the day, take a quick self-guided tour of the Crescent Hotel, and possibly the Thorncrown Chapel if you still have time. Then, have a nice dinner at one of the excellent locally owned restaurants. (Ermilio's Italian Restaurant, Local Flavor, The Grand Tavern)
