Peaceful and relaxing
Just returned from a weeks stay with a total of six adults. Three bedrooms with 2 kings and a queen made sleeping arrangements easy. Did not have to fuss with twins, singles or bunk beds. There was plenty of room for all of us without getting underfoot. Large deck with 1/2 screened in was a favorite place for us to sit. Un-screened in portion had a gas grill. The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything you would need for meal prep. Enjoyed watching the boat traffic into Center Harbor and in the quieter times in the morning and evening we were serenaded by the local loons. We also had an eagle come by from time to time and perch high up in a pine tree that was close by., Access to the water is via a ladder on the dock. There is no direct access from the shore line. No sandy beach and the bottom is quite rocky but not a problem if you wear water shoes. Water is clean and clear with visibility down to 15 feet or so. The ladder can be a concern if anyone in your group has mobility issues. It was very quiet during the week as no one was in the cottages in the immediate vicinity. Overall one of the most peaceful and relaxing vacations we have had in a while. We did however choose not to do much other than relax in the water as much as possible and enjoy being on Lake Winnipesaukee again. We would return to this cottage/house again with no reservations.

Beautiful view from a well equipped screen hous, d
Stayed there in June and loved it. Want to do so again next year. Easily met the needs of six, and the L-shape couch could easily handle two more. It's on an island reached by a causeway, so is isolated and near everything.

Lovely location
I visited this home in July. The location was superb. Quiet, private and pristine. One drawback, no beach, and no access to the water unless you were fit enough to climb down a vertical ladder. Not suitable for my elderly parents or disabled daughter. Also, pricey for the amenities, the location was perfect. The home not so much. Not very clean, cob webs inside, rusty utensils in the kitchen, found a cherry seed on the floor, a deflated balloon under a bed and a half eaten broken lollipop under a chair on the screened porch. No gas grill, an old charcoal grill under the deck we decided not to use along with broken lawn chairs. A broken broom which we replaced with a new broom we purchased on our own. I'm not sure if it's worth the price, I felt it was worth 2/3's of what we paid, but again location was everything, and it definitely had that going for it.
