Villa Eleni is the paradigm of luxury. Designed and furnished with the highest quality materials available worldwide, the villa oozes sophistication and elegance to give you the ultimate holiday experience.
A huge advantage of the villa is it's location, combining the much wanted serenity of a secluded location with the convenience of having close proximity to Kassiopi's village centre. Being well within walking distance to the beach and all amenities (no car hire neccessary), you could be forgiven for thinking the quietness and privacy of the villa would be challenged, but Villa Eleni - sitting in the exclusive and unpopulated corner of Anatoliko, Kassiopi - has complete privacy and a peacefulness that rivals 'middle-of-nowhere' properties. It is a huge rarity for villas of this size and standard to have such a fantastic location, yet Villa Eleni has. Ideal for groups wanting amenities close by and families with teenagers/young adults whom can entertain themselves in Kassiopi whlst the parents needn't worry about them getting back.
In designing the villa, huge importance was put on creating the most relaxing and peaceful outside space as your summer holidays are of course spent mostly enjoying the fresh air. Villa Eleni gives you every opportunity to enjoy this, the climate and the views. The private pool area is of a very generous size. The pool itself is one of the largest available in a private villa in the area. Relax on the plush, cushioned sunbeds close to your family and friends or enjoy a little solitude – there's room for both. One end of the space displays a huge outside table in which you can envisage morning coffees, al-fresco dining (straight from the barbeque by the pool) and late night, night-caps happening at. Another side boasts a covered veranda with sofa and armchairs to escape from the sun. The pool area enjoys the sun from dawn till dusk giving you unsolicited sunbathing time, a benefit that not all villas have. For those not so sun-friendly, there are plenty of parasols, shaded areas and covered verandas elsewhere on the property too. Whilst relaxing at the villa, soak up the breathtaking backdrop: Kassiopi village, azure sea, sweeping coastline, Byzantium castle and dramatic mountains, much so enjoyable from the upstairs veranda with sofa and armchairs to sink into. Every outside area at Villa Eleni is ornamented by flowers, grass and greenery making you guests with the flora and fauna. Combining this with the subtle lighting around the villa and it makes a haven of tranquillity and pure bliss.
Springtime in Corfu is one of the most beautiful times to visit our island. With said flora and fauna at it's best and bountiful cultural offerings at Easter, there is never anything short to do. At the villa we provide you with a 'what's on' diary providing you with all the important events/precession's/dates in our Greek calendar-religious or otherwise. For those looking to explore, we also provide a nature trail booklet guiding you along one of the most beautiful walks in the Kassiopi area.
Boasting 3 floors, Villa Eleni has ample space to sleep 8 people very comfortably. The ground floor has three generously sized bedrooms and their ensuites. Bright and airy and with ample wardrobe space you can live clutter free - hide that suitcase away until you'll forget it's there! Two of the bedrooms lead straight onto the pool area - super easy access. On the top floor is the master bedroom, its en-suite and huge veranda with comfy seating area. Sleeping in there, leave the curtains open and wake up to the whole of kassiopi at your feet - truly the king of the castle. The quality of furnishings notches up yet another level in the master bedroom and master en-suite - beyond beauty and words. Equally so, the rest of the property has been so lovingly designed that you can relax and enjoy your holiday in incomparable style and luxury. Excellent 5* reviews.

Superb family holiday
My wife and I with our three adult children and their partners stayed here in July and loved it.
Located on a hillside a 5 minutes walk from the main street in Kassiopi. The villa is spread over 3 floors with parking at the side. You enter the ground floor which comprises a very large open plan living space. There are very comfortable sofas with a coffee table and a large dining table with eight chairs. There is a TV with DVD player and a music system.
Also on the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and utensils. Finally there is a bathroom.
On the lower floor, which can be accessed by internal stairs or an external staircase there are three double bedrooms. Two open out through patio doors onto a terrace overlooking the pool. One of these rooms has a double bed with ensuite bathroom. The other has its bathroom located adjacent to the bedroom. The third bedroom is located at the back of the property and is quieter which would suit those who prefer not to burn the midnight oil! This bedroom also benefits from an ensuite bathroom although the shower unit is hand held and would be better if there was an attachment to fix it to the wall.
In the hallway on this floor is a washing machine and ironing board and iron.
The fourth bedroom is located on the first floor and is simply wonderful. There are two sets of patio doors opening out onto two verandas which offer superb views over Kassiopi, The bedroom itself has a large double bed and a useful vanity unit with a chair and a large mirror.
The ensuite bathroom is extremely large with his and her sinks, a raised bath offering great views over Kassiopi, a large shower enclosure and a loo. Unlike most places in Greece, you can flush the loo paper away rather than using a bin.
The whole villa is air conned including the living area and kitchen.
There is maid service 6 days a week but the maids were unobtrusive and kept the place spotless. The owner, Keleigh, is very helpful. She kept in touch during our booking process and is always contactable to sort out any issues there may be.
The pool is a good size with quality sunbeds. Sun umbrellas are provided. There is a built in BBQ and a table and chairs for al fresco dining
A car is not required as all the restaurants, bars and shops are within a few minutes walk.
We hope to return soon!
We had a wonderful stay in this fabulous villa. No problems at all but if there had been Keleigh was on hand to sort anything out. The villa is very spacious and clean with a great swimming pool. Situated in a private and quiet location but an easy walk to the village. We will definitely visit again.
We had an amazing family holiday at this beautiful spacious villa. Everything spotlessly clean lots of room for seven adults. There are fantastic views from the villa but the main 'take your breath away' was the wonderful views from the huge master bedroom terrace. Set in a quiet area with just a short walk down to the harbour where we had some delicious meals in lots of different tavernas. Keleigh the owner could not have been more helpful very easy to contact. We would definately return.
Lovely family holiday at Villa Eleni
We were a party of 8 adults - my husband and I together with our 3 grown up "children" and their other halves. The villa is just great. It is spacious, clean, extremely well located for privacy and great views yet within very easy walking distance of shops, tavernas, the harbour and beaches. The master bedroom is fabulous. The pool is a good size with a shallow end with steps and the area around the pool is large enough for 8 people to have plenty of space. Terraces and balconies provide extra outside sitting areas and shade if needed - and stunning views. The house is well appointed and furnished. We chose to eat in a lot and we found the kitchen a little lacking in cooking utensils, but Keleigh was happy to provide anything we suggested e.g. a whisk. We would say that bedroom 4 is not quite up to the standard of the other bedrooms as it is at the back of the villa and a bit dark as it only has small, high windows. The twin room opening on to the pool does have its own bathroom but it is not en-suite - this did mean other members of our party used it as the back bedroom has a bathroom with only a hand held shower in the bath. These were minor niggles and didn't spoil anyone's enjoyment of the holiday. Apart from that the villa is pretty near perfect. The beds were changed twice during our week's stay, as were the towels, and maids cleaned almost every day, even emptying the bins and taking away the rubbish. The house, pool and garden are all maintained to a high standard. The people who run the nearest supermarket were very friendly and helpful and always delivered our shopping - for free! We ate one evening at The Lavanda just at the end of the road and another evening at Petrinos overlooking the harbour. On both occasions we had good food and friendly service. Overall, we had a very happy time in lovely surroundings. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa and would love to return sometime. In fact, having been looking at all our photos just now, we all wish we were still there! Thank you Keleigh for making everything so easy.
Villa response and update:
-Each bedroom has it's own bathroom so no sharing is required. A WC following on from the living area acts as the 5 bathroom.
-Bathroom four now has a fixed shower attachment for ease of use.
-Bedroom four has a window as opposed to full veranda doors. This offers guests a room which is naturally more cool and has less morning light - perfect for lighter sleepers or adults and children alike trying to avoid air conditioning use. For families, it is also a safety benefit to have a room with no direct outdoor access. The fittings and decor is of exactly the same quality as in all rooms.
Lovely villa, brilliant pool, air con, very clean, easy walk to the to very pretty town and harbour, brilliant service from Keleigh and her team. We had the most fabulous relaxing holiday and I wish we were still there now! Thanks Keleigh, it was everything you promised in your advertisement and more. X
Beautiful Villa, in a great position
My family and I were lucky enough to stay at Villa Eleni this summer along with my Brother. It was my first visit in around 30 years to Corfu, and my first to a self catered villa.
On arriving at the villa, it was clearly evident that it had been fitted out with quality fixtures and fittings, and the layout was perfect. There is a master bedroom upstairs with a huge bathroom with shower, and a fabulous picture window looking out to sea. The living and dining area and kitchen were on the ground floor, furnished with a huge sofa and table for 8 very comfortably.
On the lower ground floor, there are three further bedrooms, two with en-suite, and a separate bathroom. A double and one of the twin rooms had patio doors leading out to the pool area.... For us, this was ideal. The bedrooms are extremely roomy, and all have their own air conditioning systems that work perfectly. The bathrooms are very well appointed, and each bedroom has a vast amount of storage space.
The layout for the villa was perfect for us. If you are with another family, it is very easy to have your own space, but it is also has great spaces for entertaining together too. The kitchen was very well appointed with plenty of crockery and utensils, a dishwasher, a huge fridge freezer and microwave. There is also a great BBQ area by the pool for those that prefer that.
The pool was spotless and it was cleaned several times during our stay. Quality pool towels are also provided along with the usual linen, so that is a huge bonus.
The owners are lovely people, and couldn't do enough for you. They also have a fabulous restaurant on the harbour ... one to definitely try!
The setting of the villa couldn't be any better. Yes it is on the hillside, which provides a quiet location, but it is only a short walk away to the harbour to be in the centre of things. There is a very steep slope one way, and a longer slightly less steep path another. Either way, it didn't pose any problems.
All in all, I couldn't fault the villa, the owners, or Kassiopi itself (and I am a fussy person usually!) We had several trips out, and found plenty to do. The villa provided a beautiful place where you could relax and feel at home, but also be the central place from where to explore the island.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this villa to anyone.
The lovely village of Kassiopi provides a satisfying array of possibilities to suit everyone. From an offering of both traditional and international cuisine to lively or leisurely bar culture to invigorating walks of castle ruins and coast - the variety of choice makes Kassiopi quite cosmopolitan.
Kassiopi's village centre is a 6 minute walk away from Villa Eleni and within the village you can find plenty of things you may need or want: shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, car-hire, diving centre, excursion/exchange offices, computer access, pharmacy etc.
Kassiopi is ideally situated as a base for those who wish to explore the surrounding villages as boat/coach excursions run straight from the village. Why not enjoy a relaxing east coast cruise or, going west, have fun on the sandy beach BBQ trip? Prefer to explore by yourselves? Hire a boat from the quaint harbour of Kassiopi and be skipper for the day.
Alternatively, for those who wish to kick back and do nothing, Kassiopi's laid-back atmosphere makes the perfect backdrop. The main beach (Kalamionas beach) is just a 7 minute walk away, another small cove 5 minutes walk away behind the villa. There are a few equally beautiful small coves along the headland that you may wish to explore also - all within easy walking distance. Being on the north east coast of Corfu, the seas here are free from dangerous currents and they flaunt blue-flag status. Go crab fishing in one of several rock coves or try fishing for your tea - if that fails, there is a super choice of restaurants dotted about throughout the village where you can dine at.
Kassiopi plays host to some beautiful celebrations throughout the year and it is at these times, that you really feel the community spirit and authetic greek culture come alive. Notable festivals include May 8th 'panagia' in celebration and remembrance of the Great Miracle in 1530, May 21st celebrating the unification of the Ionian Islands, August 15th in celebration of the assumption of Mary and October 28th celebrating 'Ochi' - 'No' day. Often these days would be highlighted with Parades, marching bands, live music and greek dancing come evening and lots of merry Greek locals!
In booking Villa Eleni, you are dealing with the owners who live within the village whom therefore are able to offer great tips, advice and contacts for whatever you may wish to do once in Kassiopi. Most important thing: enjoy your holiday in our village because it's a very special, beautiful place.
