The six story story condo is RIGHT on the beach; there are no buildings separating Island Shores from the beach. This condo is located on the second floor.

Our condo is located:

-less than one mile away from the heart of Gulf Shores

-less than one hour away from Mobile, Alabama

-less than thirty minutes from Pensacola, Florida.

Enjoy our 900 square foor, 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and private like we do!

This is our second home and we want to share it with you! Watch the sun set right on the balcony! Enjoy watching television, playing on the computer, and watching DVD's with your family and friends in our living room!

The balcony has an opening from the living room right onto a scenic beach scene.

Our master bedroom has a King-sized bed, closet, two night-stands, and two dressers just like home. Our master bathroom is located off the master bedroom.

Our kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal, sink, and plenty of counter space to accommodate your needs! We have all the kitchen utensils so all you'll need is your food and your hungry family! We also have a dining table for four to sit and enjoy!

Our guest bedroom is has a Queen-sized bed, a closet, two night-stands, and a dresser too. Our guest bedroom is connected to the living room.

Our living room has a hide-away Full sized bed.

Our condo is completed with tile floors.

About Jimmy Garrett

I own and manage rental property in my own hometown, and in Gulf Shores besides this condo. My wife, three daughters, and I have always enjoyed warm weather in Alabama; now that I am finally settling down, my wife and I have decided to buy a condo. This is our home away from home! We love relaxing and enjoying the sun!

Why Jimmy Garrett chose Alabama Gulf Coast

We love the southern Alabama beaches, and because we have friends living within thirty miles of Gulf Shores, we decided to buy beachfront property. We try to come down to Gulf Shores every chance we get!

What makes this condo unique

My wife is an avid shopper and she enjoys the two shopping outlets located in Gulf Shores, plus the several surf shops in Gulf Shores too. My three daughters and their friends enjoy going to the festivals held annually year around, going to The Hangout less than one mile from our condo, and go-kart racing in Gulf Shores! We all go out to eat at our favorite restaurant throughout the week! There are over seventy-five restaurants within ten miles of our condo. Our favorite restaurants are the Shrimp Basket, Lambert's, LuLu's, the Fish River Grill, and The Rib Shak BBQ.

OK for the price

We went for Spring Break (2 adults, 4 kids ages 8-13). The view is as described - right on the water - beautiful! Location is great - close to everything. The condo is a bit tight for 6 people. It is 2 bedrooms with a sofa bed, but it's fairly small. The deck only seats 3 and is tight for that with furniture that needs replacing. The unit needs some TLC. The blinds to the deck fell on my head when I shut the door, the toilets are both loose, faucet leaked, the floors were still sandy when we arrived, there was a toilet plunger in a kitchen cabinet (eww!), a few light bulbs were missing, and several dishes had crumbs in them. It needs a good cleaning (dust bunnies in the corners/closets) and some maintenance . The master is in the front & quite dark since you wouldn't usually open the blinds to where people are walking by. The other bedroom is next to the beach but the window is behind the bed. No views unless you go out on the deck.

The pool is in the parking lot but at least there is one (not heated). The unit is on the second floor which made it easily accessible especially since they shut down the elevator the second day (for 4-6 weeks). It's a 6 story building. I would hate to be checking in after that!

It was fine since we were not there much and one of the cheapest properties on the beach. But I think I'll spend a little more with the size of our family next time.

I did contact the owner when we first got there & he recommended calling the cleaning service if I wasn't happy, but it was late & I didn't want anyone coming back over. It would be too crowded to have them clean with us there.

Great get away!,

Property was clean with all amenities. Right on the beach with a great balcony view. Owner responded promptly. Many restaurants within walking distance. I highly recommend this property-looking forward to the next time I go back.

Condo was clean and comfortable. All the comfort and amenities of home.

We enjoyed our stay. We could walk the beach, walk to restaurants and gift shops. We came to golf and found a great selection of courses. Both sunrise and sunset were awesome.

We had no problems at all while staying in Jimmy's lovely condo. Our view and easy access to the beach was perfect. Laundry facilities very clean. Close to shopping and restaurants. We will be referring family and friends and coming back!
