Why Jim Kantola chose Negaunee
The depot is centrally located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is the perfect in between meeting spot if you have families in lower Michigan and Wisconsin.

Charming and Unique Character
My husband, children and I were in the area for a quick fall weekend to attend a family event. Having two teenagers we've far outgrown feeling comfortable staying at a hotel and look for local HomeAway opportunities to give us the space and convenience of home while we travel.
The Negaunee Union Station Depot was SO COOL - such rich history, charm and unique character in this property. It's located right along the Iron Ore Heritage Trail making easy access for walks and mountain biking. Loved everything about our stay and look forward to returning during the summer time.
Marji Gesick Race Weekend
This property is next to Jackson Park.
Perfect location for watching or participating in the Marji Gesick Race.
It is at mile 65 & 85.
Property is large-with plenty of parking, and outside space for bikes.
Communication with manager was friendly & prompt.
Unique place 🤗
Fun experience. Great town to visit
Great Get away place
Loved the uniqueness of the property. We really enjoyed the quiet town setting and being close to Marquette.
Very cool! Something different.
My wife, four kids and I had tons of room to spread out and explore the UP from this property. It was directly next to a bike trail. Lots of friendly people would bike past. We loved how spacious the place was.
We had a wonderful stay at the depot. It's just a beautiful property and was perfect for our family.
Within a short drive to Marquette, guest of the Historical Union Station enjoy the many wonders of the Upper Peninsula. Located on the Heritage Trail, popular for hiking, biking, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Walking distance to the downtown areas antique shops bakery and theater. Lake Superior and down hill skiing is just 15 minutes away. We also have snowmobiles available for rent during your stay.
