This is a perfect location to easily sample Vancouver and be able to retreat to your own private oasis. Nestled in the heart of Fairview slopes, this large apartment comes equipped with a sociable patio for those wanting to enjoy the Vancouver summer and a wood burning fireplace for snowbirds. Backing onto the seawall; a brief stroll West leads you to Granville Island while a brief stroll East leads to Stamps Landing marina, a local secret housing many cafes and restaurants. Vancouver General Hospital is 2 blocks away, and a major Skytrain station, leading you to the airport, Downtown Vancouver or Richmond is a 5 minute walk. Water taxis stop nearby and will take you to various Vancouver locations (including the beach) and a variety of restaurants and bars are packed into the surrounding area. You will find Grocery Stores (SaveOn, Whole Foods etc.), Pharmacies and shopping arcades in the neighbourhood as well as the famous Cittadella Coffee house and a plethora of international eateries. The craft brewing district is also close by, as is Olympic Village and Science World. This truly is a great place from which to enjoy Vancouver, regardless of what sort of vacation you are looking for.

Location, location, location!

Easy access to everywhere in the city, walking distance to Granville market and a neighborhood parks.

The kitchen was well equipped with a whole variety of cookwares, with which we could even make dim-sums!

We absolutely loved the view from the living room. Completely covered with trees and sky, no need for a shade.

There is some room for improvement for sure though. The some furnitures may need to be replaced. The bathtub sink continued to smell even after many many showers.

But overall we loved the stay a lot, we almost felt sad to leave this morning. I also have to thank Tom for being so attentive and polite all the time

Our second visit over a short time period and again a great base for our stay.

A holiday to visit family was made so much easier by having a well equipped base of our own. It was incredibly convenient for visiting all parts of the city and we felt dry comfortable throughout our stay. Tom was very prompt and helpful with his responses to any queries , a great trip.

We had a wonderful week-long stay in this lovely condo. It's a great location to access Granville Island, downtown, Olympic Village, Broadway and Kits. As a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) we had to adjust to sharing one bathroom but that was not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Thanks, Tom!

Lovely home in a great location

Fabulous location - easy walk to Granville Island and the Skytrain, in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment is impeccably clean and well-supplied with everything you could need (dishes, towels, logs for the fire even). And the bed is so comfortable!
