Awesome, as always.

Amazing access to Torch Lake, sunsets and friendly neighbors. Peaceful, relaxing and the kids pretty much live in the water. Condo has tennis supplies, floaties and some lawn games, ten minutes to Bellaire supermarket. Condo is clean and quiet. Communication with the owner is always prompt and informative.Would come back again!

We had a wonderful time at this property at torch lake. It was perfect for our family of 4.

  • 4 of 5

The property itself was very clean. It offered everything you need. Although the decor is outdated it is still very functional and you look past that as it's a wonderful spacious place to stay right on the lake. Although the carpet had many stains it was still clean but one suggestion would be to replace the carpet.

We spent a lot of time at the table on the deck off the living area.

The sunsets at torch make this property worth every penny.

Torch Lake Gem!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location and the amenities of the condo. The owner communicated quickly and checked in to make sure we had no problems. The only issues we had were that there was no wifi and the window AC cooled the living room area fine but not so much the bedroom on the main floor, but the fans helped. The unit could use some updating but that didn't impact our ability to have a great time in the least. We saw a great sunset, roasted marshmallows, paddle boarded, kayaked, went to Sleeping Bear Dunes, hiked at Glacial Hills (I'd highly recommend that), went to wineries, visited Charlevoix, Petoskey, etc. This place will definitely be one we return to in the future.

We Love Torch Lake!

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this condo! The condo was spacious for our family of four and everything needed was provided, such as paper towels, etc. The grounds were semi-private yet private enough as they are not open to the public. We all enjoyed an occasional rest in the hammock overlooking Torch Lake, along with using the provided paddle board and the shared platform raft. Water shoes are recommended, which we purchased locally, as much of Torch Lake is rocky. We enjoyed renting wave runners for a few days during our stay as well. The owner is a pleasure to work with and by far one of the best property owners we have ever known. He provided straight forward information and was very accommodating. If you are looking for a great, worry-free place to relax and enjoy the lake, we highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future.

Peaceful, relaxing fun for the whole family!

  • 5 of 5

We booked this unit only a few days before our arrival and were very pleasantly surprised at the owner's communication, location of the condo (right on Torch Lake), condition of the unit and the amenities provided. We are a family of four and took mom with us - she uses a walker and the fact you can park right outside the front door, there are only three steps to get in and there's a first floor king bedroom with full bath was perfect for her. Upstairs is another king bedroom with another full bath and a laundry room with two twins tucked in there; perfect for the kids. The beds are in good condition, the bedding and towels were clean and plush and plenty of beach towels and inflatables (with electric pump) were available for use. The kitchen is very well stocked with the basics and it's functional with lots of counter space. There is no central AC, but the wall units upstairs and down do a good job at keeping it cool if that's what you like. There are a few box fans to push the air from the upstairs bedroom into the kids' room. The condo has a decent-sized deck with patio furniture and umbrella. There are lawn games, board games, cards, a hammock and a paddleboard all available. The kids had a blast swimming right out back from the condo and there's a separate private beach close by.. Tennis courts up the hill (rackets and balls in the unit). Best part was relaxing and watching the sunsets, as the unit faces southwest. Bellaire is just 10 minutes away with a full grocery store and the local pharmacy let us 'rent' a wheelchair for a refundable $25 deposit. Everyone we ran into was friendly, especially the neighbors, and the owner (Dave) was really helpful before, during and after our stay. We will be back! Thanks, Dave!

Owner's Response: Glad you all enjoyed your stay this summer. Look forward to having your group back again next year. The lake, which is usually quite cool because of its 300+ ft depth, was also surprisingly warm this year as well. Lots to see and do in the area in general, or like you described - just relax and enjoy the beauty of the lake and all the amenities right from this location.
