2 bedroom apartment with large balcony and garage near beaches and all amenities

A very clean, comfortable and well equipped sunny south facing apartment situated on the second floor of a small luxury modern architect designed building. Our building is located just a five minute walk from the beaches, shops, bars, supermarkets, restaurants and nightlife of Juan Les Pins and a 10 minute walk from the beaches and historic town and harbour of Antibes.

We, the owners, use the apartment for our own holidays and ensure that everything is always clean and in good order. The apartments in Villa Salammbo are mainly owner occupied and the building is surrounded by gardens and has secure gated access and a video entry system with private underground garage parking accessed by internal lift and stairs.

The apartment is very easily accessed from Nice airport by the frequent No 250 airport express coach which costs €16.50 for an adult return ticket or by the local No 200 bus which leaves from near terminal one and costs €1.50 for a single ticket. The Juan Les Pins railway station is just a 5 minute walk from the apartment. There are frequent trains to Cannes and St Raphael to the west (the latter has easy bus connections along the coast to St Tropez) or Nice, Monaco, Menton and Ventimiglia to the east. For those who are keen to explore inland many lovely small towns and villages including Mougins, Grasse and St Paul de Vence can easily be reached by the very good local bus services. More details and location maps for buses and trains are available on request. We can also arrange airport taxis.

The apartment is clean comfortable and well equipped in addition to being spacious, bright and sunny with a large open plan living room / dining area with two comfortable sofas and a dining table seating 4 people. There is a TV, blu-ray player and unlimited Wi-Fi broadband internet. The fully equipped modern kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, and fridge/freezer. We provide a toaster, kettle, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, clothes airers and a hair dryer. The double bedroom has plenty of wardrobe space and a large en-suite shower. The twin bedroom also has plenty of wardrobe space and an en-suite bath with shower over. The toilet is separate. The beds will be made up ready for you and we provide hand towels and bath towels.

The apartment also has a large wrap-round terrace which faces both south and west and catches the sun all day. The terrace has sun loungers and a dining table and chairs for relaxed outdoor dining.

About Penny Ellison

I holiday in this apartment myself two or three times a year. When I stay there I always check that everything in the apartment is clean and in working order as I wouldn't want to stay there myself if it was not properly looked after. I usually add something to the apartment's equipment as a little present to the apartment. Last Christmas we stayed there as a family and enjoyed fantastic weather. Two brave souls went for a Boxing Day swim! There were plenty of local festive events and a stunning New Year firework display. We enjoyed a basketball match in the stadium just down the road.

This apartment is quiet but within a couple of minutes walk of various supermarkets including the upmarket frozen food shop Picard. It is close to bus routes and the train station so travelling to Nice, Cannes or Monaco is easy.

This luxury apartment is easily accessed directly from both terminals of Nice airport using the frequent airport express coach No:250. An adult return ticket is €15. From just outside the airport, a 3 minute walk from terminal 1, is the No: 200 bus stop which goes to Juan Les Pins for €1.50. There is a frequent train service and of course taxis. The apartment is within easy walking distance of the beaches, shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife in Juan-les-Pins, as well as historic Antibes with its attractive fruit and vegetable market. Within a 5 minute walk of the apartment are 4 supermarkets which all have a wide selection of food and wine. The Spar is especially good for fresh baguettes. Within a 2 minute walk is a bakery, greengrocer, butcher, fishmonger and delicatessen and a branch of the upmarket frozen food shop Picard which we find very useful for everything from soups to raspberry tarts! Excellent cycling and walks around the Cap d'Antibes as well as trips by boat to the Lerins Islands where you can picnic and explore the secluded beaches. The Juan-les-Pins beaches are perfect for swimming, windsurfing, dinghy sailing, water skiing and scuba diving. Antibes water/marine park is only twenty minutes by train. Lots of art galleries, pottery/glass exhibitions, museums and gardens nearby especially in Antibes, Vallauris, Biot, Vence, Grasse and Nice.

Lovely bright, clean, airy and well maintained apartment within walking distance of both Antibes & Juan Les Pens. The property is as described in the ad, it is lovely. The owner Penny was a pleasure to deal with, she could not have been more helpful. I would highly recommend this property and would stay in it again.

Luxurious Appartment

An absolutely gorgeous appartment In Juan les Pins, within easy walking distance of both Juan les Pins and Antibes. Centrally located but very quiet, lovely south facing balcony, sun all day even at Easter. Owner was a delight to deal with, the pictures don't do the appartment justice. Everything was as said in the details, but better. We certainly will be returning.

Of course we are very lucky to have such an excellent cleaner. The location of the apartment is very convenient. Our most recent guests, a family with two children, said they managed to get around really well by train as the train station is only a short walk. They visited: - The water park at Biot; - Watched Monaco v. Montpellier at the Louis II stadium in Monaco; - A day out in Ventemiligia; and walked the short distance to watch the firework displays in the bay at Juan Les Pins.

Great place!

It is my pleasure to recommend this apartment. My family spent two weeks vacation this summer in Juan les Pins. First, the building is new and very well maintained. It is well situated, in a quiet, residential area. The apartment is clean and well equipped. Penny was wonderful. She provided us with all details about the apartment, as well as the surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay and we are already planing to go back next year.

Super vacances !

Nous sommes retournés plusieurs fois depuis 2007 dans cet appartement lumineux et super bien situé. Il est au calme dans une petite rue à sens unique, mais on peut se rendre très facilement à pied aux commerces et à la plage.

Juan-les-Pins et Antibes offrent déjà plein de possibilités, mais lors de nos séjours suivants nous avons aussi visité Cannes, Nice, Grasse, et même Monaco, toutes facilement accessibles par train (la gare est également proche de l'appartement).

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la propreté de l'appartement, et avons un peu de mal à comprendre ce qui a pu manquer à la personne qui se plaint dans sa critique des équipements de cuisine. Peut être voulait-elle inviter 20 personnes à dîner ;-) ? Nous avons aussi pu garer notre break dans le box privé. Certes, il faut savoir bien manœuvrer son véhicule, mais ce n'est pas inhabituel pour les parkings en sous-sol en centre ville. Lors de notre dernier séjour les propriétaires avaient renouvelé le téléviseur (joli écran plat), et avaient aussi une nouvelle Livebox (plus boitier télé) dans l'appartement.

En gros, n'hésitez pas, allez-y !

Perfect place for worry free vacation

The apartment is exactly as described. Everything is in the right place and good quality. The manual put together by the owner explains everything you need to know about the apartment and vicinity. It is nice to come back after a day of visiting or hiking to a place that is so neat, perfectly organized and comfortable. Many thanks to the owners!
