A spacious house on a corner lot, with a wrap around porch and several entertaining spaces, including a living room with fireplace, formal dining room, and a garden with flowers you can cut for the table. There is a cook's kitchen, old fashioned pantry, laundry room, 2 bedrooms, a library/TV den with a pull out couch bed, a separate office, and three full bathrooms. We are on a quiet, gracious street just 4 blocks from the buzz of Warren Street shops and restaurants. There is easy access to the train station. This is our home, so it is filled with things we love: antiques, paintings, nice china and table settings, music and lots of cooking aids, including herbs in the garden and we are a short couple of blocks from the Saturday Farmers' Market.

About Morag Hann
We've lived in and around Hudson for 30 years, love to renovate houses, garden and hike the many parks and trails within a short distance of Hudson. We love the many different kinds of cultural events, the wide variety of stores, and so many great restaurants.
Morag Hann purchased this House in 2006

We were a family group of 6 adults (3 couples). We rented the study area, with a pull-out sofa bed, in addition to the 2 bedrooms.
This is a nicely updated older home. There is much original wood work and high ceilings. It is very comfortably and tastefully furnished with a very complete kitchen and a wonderful wrap around porch. We liked the location which was very quiet and away from the commercial district, yet just a minute away (by car) from the main drag. We appreciated the room A/C units in the bedrooms at night as it was warm and humid during our stay.
Morag was a wonderful host, who showed us around when we arrived and answered all our questions but was not intrusive. We also appreciated the bottle of wine that she left for us!
Good base for sightseeing
We are two 70-year old women who stayed at the "Romantic Victorian" while sightseeing in the Hudson River Valley and Berkshires. Hudson, New York was ideally located for such sightseeing. We appreciated the separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was roomy and well equipped for our "at home" meals. We would stay there again.
Great place to stay!
Really classic upstate Victorian —Morag was delightful to work with—great in town location
Very charming house in Hudson
Morag is a lovely and welcoming host.
This house has many features and is especially delightful for antique lovers. It is located just 2 block from the main strip where you can find amazing french bakeries, restaurants, galleries, and even a spa that offers paddle board yoga on the Hudson and pilates classes.
For those who want to stay in, the wrap around porch is really a great place to relax.
There are many rooms in this house that are all very well decorated. There is also kitchen garden right outside the kitchen area with all sorts of herbs.
Could not ask for a more charming base for the weekend!
Wonderful home away from home
From the moment we met Morag on the front porch we could not have felt more welcome. The home is impeccable and full of all the details to make it a home that takes you back in time with all the antique details. Each bedroom was very roomy and having the 3 bathrooms was so convenient for the 6 of us. We flew in from CA and our adult kids trained up from Manhattan. Hudson was a convenient location for them to have a break from the big city. Although we ate downtown some of the time, we cooked a lot as well during our stay. Morag left us a bottle of wine and cheeses and the spices and details necessary for ccoking. We spent most of our time gathered around the kitchen table or sitting on the wrap around porch. We were able to conveniently walk downtown or to the Farmer's Market on Saturday. As Hudson continues to progress and revitalize, the area will only become more a thriving town. Thank you Morag! We had a great time!
