|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Property in absolutely unique location, just refurbished, just 4 min walk from the Cala Vadella beach (without having to cross any car roads). Ideal for families with kids looking for a unique experience.
It is a detached single family house with two storeys. On the top floor there is a living room, fully equiped open kitchen, toilet and dining terrace all of it with stunning views over Cala Vadella and a lot of light.
On the bottom floor there are two bedrooms with two single beds each which have direct access to the terrace/pool area. These two bedrooms share one bathroom. The main bedroom has an in-suite bathroom with a large bath and shower which has direct access to a another private outside shower with hot water and thereafter to the pool area. On this bottom floor there is a large terrace and a private pool and an outside bar. Stunning views of Cala Vadella can be appreciated from nearly everywhere (children at the beach can be watched from home!) It has private parking, air conditioning in every bedroom/space which was fully renewed in 2015
This is a really amazing house, nicely decorated, stayed cool inside and had amazing views over the beach below. Can't really fault the house itself as its a really nice place to stay and enjoy a beach holiday.
There are just a few things that future holiday makers need to be aware of when staying here. All of these things meant out stay wasn't perfect and meant more work for us!
1. We were given the wrong number for the property twice. We waited in the heat for an hour waiting for someone to pick up the phone at the other end and finally when we spoke to the person we were suppose to meet, he could not accurately tell us where exactly on the street the property was it give us the right property number! Mass confusion and not a great start with no apology!
2. We had a leak in the toilet which took until day 4 out of our 7 day stay to sort out- after having to chase twice to get it fixed.
3. Direct access to the beach as advertised was not always possible and we had to deal with it ourselves as the access is via the clubhouse below. We're were told in no uncertain terms by the club owner that we could not use the steps to go to the beach as it was their private property. Beware is locked by them! It was not pleasant being confronted by an angry man on holiday with our two young children!
Communication could definitely have been better and more support would have been welcomed.
These things are all easy to improve and I hope they do as it is genuinely a nice place to stay. I'm writing this to make others aware so they can avoid these same issues.
Just returned from Casa Nino. We were there as two couples and a 7-month old. Firstly, this is a genuine holiday villa. We contacted Ana in July when we paid our deposit for the September stay. We paid the balance and an agreed deposit on arrival. Fortunately our taxi driver knew the location, though Ana warned us some taxis may not and might drop you in Cala itself. The villa is on one of the main routes into Cala. Standing in the bay itself, you can see it on the hill above the Bar Maya on the left. The stairs from the villa lead down to their bar area and the cute boutique below. Beware, there are some seriously nice clothes and Maya is very handy for a lunchtime drink!
Villa is exactly what I expected. Very clean and practical. The views are fabulous. Two large patio doors open on to a wrap around balcony from the upstairs lounge/kitchen area framing the beach below. Bedrooms are downstairs. They are cool and simply furnished in white. The kitchen is extremely well equipped - a home from home. Showing a little wear but in a nice homely way. I can imagine a lot of happy families have stayed here. Bedrooms are all good sized doubles with the master having a large bath (which our grandson loved!), shower and en suite facilities. There are doors from here to the side of the villa and both other bedrooms lead on to pool area. There is also an outside staircase from pool area offering access to the large lounge/kitchen upstairs. Air con is efficient and quiet. Handily placed baby gates and travel cot.
Stairs to the beach are a real bonus but you can walk down via a road at the back. You will need a torch if you leave when dark and the pavements aren't too great. Having said that, we managed with a baby in a pushchair.
The resort is ultra family friendly. For a small place has a surprising number of restaurants. The family run pizza restaurant is very popular. We loved the beach restaurant just below us which offered breakfast where you could eat with your toes in the sand. The cocktail beach bar also makes a mean Mojito! There's a small supermarket which met all our needs. We chose this villa and location so we didn't have to think about driving and it met our needs perfectly.
Would we come back? Definitely. The only reservation we have is a personal one as my husband struggled a little with the uphill location. But we knew that before we booked and would still be tempted to do it again.
Thanks Ana for a lovely stay.

We have spent one week in this great villa and would come back tomorrow morning if possible:-) We have been coming to Ibiza for many years and this villa is by far the best and most amazing place we have staid because it offers a unique combination of advantages that no other does. The house is very well thought through and has all the advantages of a premium hotel, without any fuss, very pragmatic, high quality and much more privacy.
Fabulous Location – 2 mins walk from the creek, superb views and great restaurants in Cala Vadella. While being a summer place, it offers the possibility to do a bit of sport like snorkeling, diving, tennis or even the kids can play football on the beach. Great outdoors – the terrace is wide and spacious, has several cozy corners to read a book, stylishly furnished (Ibiza style), with a beautiful swimming pool from which you can even overlook the creek. There is an outside bar, barbecue and big dining table that allows you to enjoy all your meals outside looking at the sea… unpayable. Great indoors – the air conditioning works very well in all the rooms and the beds are very comfortable. We are managers in a big company in Geneva and frankly we hadn’t slept so well in a year. We have completely removed all the stress. The furniture, like the rest of the house, is in excellent condition. Kitchen and living room have everything you need and the quality of the machines (washing machine, dishwasher, etc) and cutlery are significantly higher vs. what you normally find in summer houses.
Overall, a very warmly recommended and amazing house to spend your time in Ibiza.
If you are thinking about renting a villa in Ibiza, I can more than recommend this villa in Cala Vadella. I have spent a week there this summer and the vacation was really more than a dream. You have the most stunning view over the beach, which is even more beautiful in real life than it already is on the pictures. At the same time you are in a very private and calm atmosphere within the house and on the beautiful outside terrasse (the neighbors are basically never visible/audible). The house is perfect for families, multiple couples or friends, as it the private pool/outside bar/relaxing chairs enable all types of activities. The inside of the house on top is very well equipped and completely renovated, which enables a rounded up luxurious vacation.
We had a very good time in the villa in Cala Vadella. The villa is very well equiped and the view is stunning! The outside terrace is stylish and beautifully lit in the evening. We can recommend the villa to everyone.
Cala Vadella is located within the San Jose municipality and it is sorrounded by the best beaches in Ibiza. Within 5-10min drive one can get to Cala Carbo, Cala d'Hort (with fantastic Es Vedra) and Cala Moli.
Cala Vadella (and 4 min walking distance from the villa), has all amenities needed to enjoy a car free holiday. Within the same beach there are different restaurants, a diving center, a car and bike rental shop, a supermarket, a press kiosk, a couple of ibiza clothes stores and a famiily hotel with internet and other amenities. One of the restaurants at the Cala, called Cana Sofia, has been awarded several prizes to its fantastic mediterranean food, a fantastic luxury to enjoy from time to time!
Cala Vadella is very well protected from wind which allows the water to be always calm making it a very safe beach for children. It is quite far from Ibiza nightlife
Cala Vadella allows you to enjoy the peace of the beach while having all your basic needs covered
