Lovely and peacefull holiday cottage in Speyside hills
We loved our time in the Speyside Hills and enjoyed the comfortable Glenarder Cottage. Stylish decorated and with all facilities and stunning views! The dears, grouse and kettle in the fields around us made us feel really living in the countryside. Excellent location to visit all the whisky distilleries in the Speyside Region.

Glenarder, Scotland is "our special" little bolt hole from the world. We love its remoteness yet close enough to enjoy a nice dinner out in the local towns. Glenarder is where we go celebrate family, occasions and most of all

Why they chose this property

We searched all ove Scotland for a place to call home and be close to my Scottish family. It was not the size of details we were interested in we just wanted a place on its own and with that special feeling. We had almost given up and on our last day of our holiday (devoted to the search) we went to one last property, the last on our list! As we drove up the road towards the direction of the little cottage my husband and I looked at each other and said this is we had not even seen the house yet. We were immediately in love with the spot, the open heath and 360 views.

The cottage was smaller than we wanted but its positioning overlooking the Glen meant we forgave quickly all its short comings. We quickly made plans to renovate and make it our little cottage in the regrets. We love the it and we hope you get as much joy from it as we do.

What makes this property unique

Quite, quite, quite! You cannot find a more peaceful location. Wake up to full 360 views, the odd pheasant in the garden and no one around to spoil your Sanctuary.

On the Malt Whisky Trail and minutes for the iconic River Spey.

Fully renovated with the highest quality of local and British products. An emphasis on artisanal and local fabrics and designs.

Family kitchen with a large range stove and farmhouse kitchen table. It's the place we all hang out and spend our times together.

Close to local amenities, restaurants and most of the Malt Whisky Trail with literally dozens of local distilleries to choose from.

Close to the magnificent Spey River
