September 6 - September 30th ONLY "Red Rooster Cabin"
Something to Crow about!
As charming as it is isolated. The Red Rooster is full of country charm and ready for the game players in your family.
Come relax on the deck in an old rocking chair at sundown, listen to the birds, the sounds of the forest and whippoorwill. Retreat to the interior where you'll find country decor, a warm wood burning fireplace that will give an old fashioned romantic feel to any evening, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family!
The game room includes a pool-table, ping pong, air hockey and a dart board. At the end of your day rest or read a book on one of the two comfy queen beds. Awake in the morning to the sounds of nature and enjoy your morning coffee or tea on one of the two covered porches. Watch out for the hummingbirds!
Our Cabin is located in a private, secluded wood setting yet convenient to area attractions. The fun of Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and The Great Smoky Mountains are only a short drive away.
Outdoor Fun, fishing, hiking and white water rafting only 15min from the cabin.
In the summer enjoy river tubing, water rafting, hiking, zip lines, swimming, fishing, shopping, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, plus more!
In the fall the change of color, the cool crisp air, and the smell of Autumn will take your breath away! Take time for a hay ride! Old man winter gives you skiing or snow tubing down the mountainsides at Ober Gatlinburg, Cataloochee Ski Resort or Maggie Valley.
In spring the hillsides take on an emerald green color as you enjoy, the many wildflowers, wild berries, butterflies, shopping, golfing and eating at the many fine restaurants, a trip to cades cove for early bear sightings or just relaxing at the Red Rooster!

The cabin was nice and clean. If quiet is what you're looking for, this is it. Unfortunately there was a burn ban and we were not able to use the fireplace which was disappointing.
Very nice, clean, welcoming cabin in the woods. Well-equipped kitchen. Big porch with enough seating for all our guests to sit and enjoy the birds chirping in the mornings. Debbie was very helpful and pleasant.
We enjoyed our weekend stay. The cabin was a little difficult to navigate to but that's the norm when you are staying in the woods! The house was inviting and well stocked. We were happy to find a stack of firewood and a pre-heated hot tub.
The gameroom was a nice addition but it is time to think of replacing the game tables. We still enjoyed ping-pong, pool and air hockey.
The porches were relaxing and we very much appreciated the pet friendly policy. Our small dog loved sniffing around in the woods and the elevated porch let us keep an eye on her. The charcoal Weber was a plus along with the woodburning fireplace.
It was a lovely and relaxing weekend. Thanks!
We had a great stay. Location of cabin was perfect because it was secluded enough for privacy but close enough to things to do like River rafting and visiting towns like Gatlinburg. Cabin itself was roomy, clean and comfortable. My group loved the hot tub and game room. Only complaint would be that if you have more trash than what fits in trash can outside, you have to drive it to another location miles away. With a group of 7 we easily filled one trash can during our 4 day stay. Then when we did load the other trash in our car to drive it to the specified location, it was closed and gate locked with a chain. Overall an excellent vacation!
Cabin exceeded our expectations. Very spacious. Have stayed at another nearby cabin before but would definitely make Red Rooster our first choice again if available. Driveway is a little steep. I would recommend additional lighting off the front porch. The driveway area leading to the lower level is quite dark at night. Definitely recommend the restaurant attached to the BP gas station near road leading to the cabin called Mama's Kitchen. Excellent food. Another nearby restaurant called The Front Porch was also very good. This cabin is a real hidden gem.
