About Alan Lande
I have lived full time in Whistler for over 25 years and I am a Certified Ski & Snowboard instructor as well as a Guiding Service. I take pleasure in sharing my Local Knowledge & Great Deals with you. With my passion & long time experience (100+ days on snow per season for the past 12 years), it would be my pleasure & a ton of fun to show you ‘my mountains’ with many secret pockets & powder stashes, either on snowboard or skis. Weather, snow, wind, light, etc. always change the ‘sweet spots’ in the mountains & without proper knowledge of these elements & the terrain, you cannot always be sure of finding the right places to match your ability. Provided you are advanced-intermediate or above, I (or one of my colleagues) can expertly guide you to the BEST places of the day & make sure that you stay in YOUR zone – as opposed to finding yourselves in areas too easy, or too challenging. We are all Certified Instructors, and offer ‘tips’ throughout the day, but this is free skiing/riding & NOT School! Sorry, we don’t have lift line privileges, but with our knowledge we know how to avoid lift lines. Please try to book this early, as it’s very popular. Stay in our 4 Star Whistler vacation rentals and discover Whistler-Blackcomb with the largest vertical rise and the most ski & snowboard terrain in ALL North America!! Let's go play outside, Alan

Lovely place, so central. In the heart of the village
Amazing location with cozy accomodations
This condo was perfect for our family vacation. It couldn’t be in a better location, literally steps from the gondola, and also walking distance to the best restaurants and shopping in the village. It was ideal for our family of 5 as it was very easy to walk our kids to the ski school drop off and we could quickly hop off the mountain and be back home with our littlest one in minutes. The condo itself was clean and cozy. Our kids were happy and content in their bunked room and my husband and I were equally as happy in ours. The views of the mountain are an added plus. The house has everything that you need for a perfect stay, comfortable rooms, a great kitchen and a nice living room for entertaining. The owner Alan was helpful and attentive to our questions and requests. We can't wait to book our next Whistler adventure in this place as we can't imagine doing it all any more easily.
We simply couldn't have asked for a more convenient place to stay for our recent trip to Whistler. Steps away from the Whistler gondola (right in front of our balcony), Longhorn Saloon and Grill, and everything else Whistler Village has to offer. The condo has plenty of room, newly renovated bathrooms, and very comfortable beds. The ceilings are a bit low, because they have been dropped, but overall, the unit is attractive, functional, comfortable, and perfectly located. Getting in and out of the building and the unit could not have been easier with the key codes. We would definitely stay here again.
Had a great stay and everything was as expected. Great communication prior to the trip.
No complaints overall, would stay here again
We have been to Whistler over a dozen times, so we knew what to expect as far as location and building were concerned. The unit itself was clean, well-equipped and well-maintained. The location really can't be beat as far as proximity to everything, but with that comes a bit of noise. It was never bad enough that it kept me from sleeping. The bed in the master is as comfortable as my one at home, but that can be subjective. My three boys were supposed to sleep int he other bedroom, but the bunks are not the sturdiest, so one of my boys opted for the coach, mostly because the boy sleeping on the bottom of the bunk is a big kid and moves around quite a bit at night, giving whoever on the top bunk quite a ride. Not really a big issue as he was fine on the couch and did not complain. The owner is very responsive, but I did not feel the need to call him at any point.
Having only one elevator can become a choke point, but it was never a consistent problem and we were there over the Holidays.
It was very nice to get up in the morning, check out the lines and then make the very short walk across the plaza to whichever lift we decided to use that day/time.
My only regret,..my stay was too short.
This saying may apply. ' When you stay Oceanfront, you'll hear the waves!'
To that end, 2 years ago we did a $7million renovation to the building it included TRIPLE PANE windows - as the Guest says " It was never bad enough that it kept me from sleeping."
Re The Tri -Bunk bed..... again, if the Guest would have communicated this to me when I called two different times during his stay, I would have been happy to send my Handyman to fix it. It has since been tightened.
Re the Elevator - This building has a total of 33 suites on 4 floors - quite unimaginable to have 2 elevators!
The Guest has also inquired about returning to this Condo this Summer !
I thank him for his kind words & hope to host him again !
