Kingston on a budget
I was looking for a one night stay that was affordable, in an interesting part of Kingston. Lee, (your host) made it welcoming from the time I began my inquiry in booking his room until I left the next morning armed with confidence on next leg of my travels. (Thanks Lee!) You do have to walk up steps to get to his hideaway so this may create concern for some of you with a lot of luggage or age & mobility issues. The room was simple in decor but air was working and despite the heat wave I was very comfortable. Shared bathroom no problem except if you are over 6ft the slanted ceiling may give you pause.
Kathleen was a great guest who was easy to cooperate and hope she returns some day. My listing shows all the stairs.
Friendly, quiet, charming!
Everything was like it was described in the offer. - Warm welcome. The rooms and the bath were simple and clean, just like we needed for our stay.
Thanks for your enjoyable stay. It was a pleasure to host you.
Come back next time!
Clean, friendly hospitality and close to a delightful beach!
Lee is lovely. Very communicative and available to answer any questions. The place is quite old, but sweet. Very basic accommodations. We enjoyed the rainstorm the first night and witnessed a double rainbow! You can walk or take a short drive to Kingston Point Beach for a picnic and a swim in the Hudson.
Debra's group were so pleasant, I wish they would come back again.
