I have been a photographer in NYC for almost 40 years. I love living in the city, but need the countryside to escape, decompress, take more photos, cook, build things, do projects and relax. My wife and I have been going to the Catskills since the late 80's, brought our kids up to love the mountains and we are still refreshed and invigorated by the changing seasons and mountain ambiance.

It is in a wilderness setting but it is only 2 1/2 hours from the center of New York City. You are transported to an area where you will see fewer people in a weekend that you see in 2 minutes in Manhattan, and if you stay on the property you don't have to see anyone at all!

A charming 19th century farmhouse but with modern conveniences including a great hot tub, outdoor shower; sauna and EV charger. Quiet, secluded but still only a short drive to the supermarket, village bars, restaurants, hiking trails and cultural attractions as well as Hunter mountain. It is so self contained that once you are here you don't need to leave the property. Although it is such a secluded property it is accessible by a scheduled Trailways Bus Service from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Tannersvllle/Hunter.
