We offer luxurious apartments directly at the Traun River with a delightful view of the entire Bad Ischl and the mountains! The apartment is located very centrally but still tranquil. There is a garage in the house and free internet access and a small garden are available for the guests. Top 6 is a luxurious apartment with highest comfort! High quality equipment and furnishings, on the 2nd floor (top floor). In the bathroom you find a shower and a bathtub. Extra WC. In the apartment you find a very modern equipped kitchen and a safe. Washing machine and dryer. There are large glass swing doors (French windows). The apartment received the highest award (4 ‘Edelweiss’)! Top 3: The apartment comprises a very large sun terrace with sun loungers, 3 bedrooms and equipped very comfortably! Washing machine and dryer in the house. Shower, extra WC. The apartment is on the 1st floor and has been awarded with 3 ‘Edelweiss’.

Bad Ischl has a very pretty golf course: Skiing paradise Salzkammergut: Katrin 1450 m: Directions to your accommodation:: Exit West motorway 'Regau' (about 38 km until Ischl!) Direction Gmunden, alongside the Traunsee Lake until the Ebensee Lake, from there about 18 km to Bad Ischl ! First exit 'Bad Ischl', in the roundabout to the right, until the Wirrerplatz, then turn left into the Wirrerstraße - straight ahead over the Traunbrücke Bridge, second street to the right you find the Traunkai! 300 m further on the left side you reach your destination. My wife and I stayed at this property for 2 weeks in September and were delighted with the apartment. Everything exceeded our expectations. The views from the apartment were wonderful, looking over the Traun River, the mountains and the town of Bad Ischl. We were self catering and found that kitchen was well equipped. Everything we needed in terms of food supplies was within a 10 - 15 minute walk from the apartment including a bakery, grocery store ( Billa ), an organic food store, and several cafes, and good restaurants to choose from. The hotel Goldener Ochs is a 2 minute walk along the road and has excellent food for when you want to eat out. The weekly friday farmer's market was very impressive and made shopping there a delight. It was an easy walk ( about 20 minutes ) to the train station which is also where the "Post Bus " #150 arrives from Salzburg every hour or so. Halstaad was only 30 minutes away by train and is well worth a day visit, as is the Kaiser Villa in Bad Ischl.

The manager at the apartment was very helpful and the building is well maintained as is the apartment. While her english is limited her son speaks excellent english. Communication was not a problem. The apartment has a road in front that parallels the river but as we did not have a car, parking was not an issue. There was some passing traffic but this was mainly in the normal " rush hour " time periods. As the apartment is on the top floor we hardly noticed any traffic noise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bad Ischl, the apartment, and plan to return again next year.

Tolle Lage, tolle Aussicht, schöne Wohnung

Wir waren zu einem 3-tägigem Kurzaufenthalt mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 größeren Kindern in dieser Wohnung. Sie ist als Ausgangspunkt für Unternehmungen in und um Bad Ischl ideal. Man wohnt sehr zentral und hat eine tolle Aussicht auf den Ort und die Berge gegenüber. Die Einrichtung ist praktisch und stilvoll. Für 2 Personen ideal, für 4 Personen muss man das Schlafsofa mit nutzen, was natürlich immer etwas umständlich ist, aber das haben wir ja vorher gewusst. Sinnvoll ist, einen Garagenplatz gegen geringen Aufpreis mit zu mieten. Wenn man auf öffentlichen Parkplätzen in der Nähe stehen will, zahlt man mehr. Für die freundliche Aufnahme bedanken wir uns hier gerne nochmal.

Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung sind sehr gut, Stadtmitte und Bahnhof schnell erreichbar(wie waren mit Bus und Zug unterwegs), die Aussicht auf Stadt und Berge bestens. Im Haus hatten wir jede Hilfe. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es Irritationen, weil wir die Telefonnummer der Concierge nicht hatten, vielleicht wäre ein Direktkontakt zum Vermieter funktioneller gewesen. Das Problem ließ sich aber schnell und unkompliziert durch die Hilfe des Sohnes lösen.

Schüne, zentrale Wohung an der Traun

Lage, Ausstattung sind sehr gut. Wohnung und Haus sind sehr gepflegt. In wenigen Schritten erreicht man die Innenstadt. Gleichwohl ist die Wohnung ruhig. Die Kooperation mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm. Die Wohnung kann uneingeschränkt weiterempfohlen werden.

Bad Ischl is the summer residence of the Emperor Franz Joseph, in the Salzkammergut, in about 400 m above sea level, with the Traun & Ischl rivers flowing through, surrounded by a small hill & large mountains (up to 1700 m). Our apartment house is located by the Traun River, central & opposite to the Cafe Zauner. Bad Ischl is ideal for walkers, hikers & climbers (a lot of things to do for everyone!) The spa resort of Bad Ischl is famous for treatments, doctors & wellness. For sports enthusiasts Bad Ischl is a real paradise! Golf, tennis, mountain biking, hang gliding, paragliding, ballooning, cycling, sailing, surfing, water-skiing, diving, fishing, swimming, horse-riding, skiing, tobogganing, Bavarian curling, cross-country skiing, canyoning, rafting etc. There is also lots of culture: Operetta festival weeks, Lehar festival and much more! Attractions: dry tobogganing, Salzberg world, Steam rack railway, very good restaurants and the Cafe Zauner. Bad Ischl is worth a trip!

Golf: 'Golf course Bad Ischl', a pretty 18- hole golf course, embedded in nature, about 8 km.

Ski: Directly in Bad Ischl (about 2 km from the house) the 'Katrin' of about 1500 m is located: cable car, chair lift, downhill into the valley! With marvellous view of the Dachstein Glacier. In the surrounding area you find the following skiing areas: Feuerkogel about 14 km; Dachstein (also during summer) about 30 km, Gosau 'Zwieselalm' about 20 km; Bad Goisern about 12 km; Postalm about 15 km; Sankt Gilgen 'Zwölferhorn' about 20 km. A true paradise for skiers. In Bad Ischl you also find very nice cross-country tracks.
