Villa Indigo is a detached villa situated in a very unique location on the exclusive Kas Peninsula, offering stunning, uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean & Greek islands. These views & beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from most rooms, balconies and terraces or from the private, large infinity pool. The villa consists of two parts: the three bedroom villa including fully equipped modern kitchen and cosy alcove with fireplace and a two bedroom attached apartment with separate outside access. This makes it ideal for families or friends travelling together, allowing for a degree of privacy. The interior is light, airy and modern with air-conditioning throughout. Outside there is a large terrace area where you can have BBQ and enjoy eating Al Fresco.
The villa has its own parking and has easy access to the main road. It is only a 5min drive or 10min mini bus ride to Kas.
The sunsets and magnificient views can be enjoyed from the large terraces of Villa Indigo while enjoying the use of the large, private infinity pool.
The villa is a 5 minute drive by car or 10 minute dolmus (local bus) drive away from Kas town. We recommend the hire of a car, but this is not essential as there is a regular dolmus service that picks up and drops off around the peninsula.
6 kms to Kas. 26kms to Kalkan. Fethiye - 1.5 hours drive. It is a five minute walk to beach platforms of where you can enjoy a snack and a swim in the crystal waters of the Mediterranean.
Lots of local restaurants, shops, banks and supermarkets in Kas. Scuba diving, snorkelling and fishing, especially in the waters around the Peninsula. Sailing and windsurfing - charter a gulet for a party for the day. Surprisingly cheap and usually includes an on-board BBQ. There are many boat trips starting from the harbour including visiting the Greek island of Meis which is just five miles off the coast of Kas. Canoeing, sea-kayaking, canyoning and paragliding. The Deniz Feneri Lighthouse Hotel is close by and has a lovely spa and sauna which has a full list of treatments to choose from. Details of these are available for you in the house. Guided walking and mountain hiking excursions, especially the Lycian Way. The flora is beautiful in early winter and in the spring. Mountain biking, horse riding and jeep expeditions in the Taurus Mountains and around the coastal paths. Hire a car or scooter to explore the nearby towns and countryside.
Kas is situated between Antalya Airport (3 hours away by car) and Dalaman Airport (approximately 2 hours away). Transfers can be arranged to and from the airports-please ask for prices at time of booking the villa. Car hire can also be arranged. Car hire is not essential but recommended to explore the areas surrounding Kas.
First of all I want to thank Hakan and Hassan for making this trip very special and memorable. Right from the start Hakans correspondence has been remarkable. He was always there to answer me whenever I had a question regarding the villa/Kaş.
This was mine and my families first time in Kaş. I wanted this holiday to be extra special so I thoroughly did my research checking all the websites looking for the perfect villa.
I saw many of them until I came across Villa Indigo. What really captured me was the view of the Mediterranean Sea and the design.
We were picked up from Dalaman Airport by a car company called Tunahan Cars which Hakan recommended. Their services were excellent. Very punctual, efficient and safe.
The drive was absolutely splendid. Spectacular views and very scenic.
Once we entered Villa Indigo we were completely shocked by how clean and spacious the Villa was. Every room had a beautiful seaview and the living room area was decorated and furnished in a simple, modern and elegant way. The living room also had an amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea.
Everyone was hungry after the long drive. Much to my surprise the Villa was equipped with snacks. Local fresh bread with cheese and Mortadella slices in the fridge. There was also fresh fruit, juices and Turkish Delights set aside for us. Just what we needed after the long journey from London Gatwick Airport.
My wife and I were planning to get married at Villa Indigo (a small ceremony by the pool with family). Hakan was so helpful with the catering. He organised 2 chefs to cook for us. They could have cooked us any of the following, BBQ, seafood and traditional Turkish cuisine (we chose Turkish cuisine as we wanted something different). The food was unbelievably tasty.
The wedding was a success. A beautiful meal followed by cake and tea. Then some dancing by the pool watching the gorgeous sunset. A night I will never forget.
The villas location was very close the town centre, only a 5-7 minute drive by taxi. From the entrance to the villa to the pool terrace, the Villa has been designed in an extraordinary way. It's very spacious throughout. Overall Villa Indigo was the perfect choice for my family and I. Every moment will be remembered (especially the nights sitting by the pool looking at the moon and sea).
I can't thank Hakan enough for all his help and support.
See you soon Villa Indigo!
The view, location, hospitality, comfort and decoration can be said stunning and breathtaking. Hasan the gardener performs very well and just on time when anything is needed. The privacy is perfectly provided by the location itself and also by the trees surrounding the villa. The kitchen was fully-equipped and a welcome pack (including basic food, wine, beer etc) was there waiting for us.. The transportion from/to the villa is very easy by the minibuses in every 30/40 minutes to/from the downtown. The infinity pool is really takes you to a journey into infinity:). But the most important of all, Hakan the owner is a very prompt, helpful and friendly guy who makes everything possible and easier. We really want to be there again to experience the autumn this time at the Indigo. Thanks Hakan:))
We stayed at Villa Indigo with friends this year and I must say it was fantastic! The pictures don't do any justice to this property, it is spacious, beautifully furnished and has every amenities you would ask for. Hasan was one call away when we needed him and Rahime cooked us delicious Turkish food every day..I would go back any day, we just loved it!
Our six-night stay at Villa Indigo was absolutely amazing in every way! The setting and view are second to none: The villa sits at the tip of the peninsula and has a spacious patio area with a private infinity pool, beyond which is a wide expanse of the Mediterranean Sea shimmering in the sunlight. From the first moment, we never wanted to leave! We didn't see much of the coast because we were so content to hang out at the villa by the pool. In the evening, in one direction you can watch a spectacular sunset, then turn around and see the moon rising behind you.
The villa is as beautiful as the photos indicate, and the description is on the mark – it’s modern, bright, very clean and comfortable, good wi-fi, a well-equipped kitchen, lots of bottled water, even detergents for the clothes washer and dishwasher.
Best of all, Hakan and Kate were amazing – very genuine, helpful and kind. Kate had answered all of my emails promptly and suggested how to transfer from Dalaman, rent a car, etc. Hakan met us at the villa to show us around and was always available to answer our questions about Kas and the coast. They made us feel like their highest priority was making sure we had a wonderful vacation. During high season, Hakan keeps the rental office open from 10 a.m. to midnight, and since it’s located right in town, we stopped by to say hello whenever we went to town. He greeted us like family and loved to hear about our day. One night we sat outside the office drinking Turkish tea with Hakan, his sister, a few of their friends and the next-door shopkeeper. We felt like locals!
Kas is a beautiful, charming seaside town with 50 restaurants and tons of great shops and bars. It’s very lively and fun at night, and the shops stay open until midnight. Our favorite restaurants: Sultan Gardens, ikbal and Mezan; our favorite staff was at Calamar.
We chartered a gulet for a relaxing day sailing and snorkeling around the Kas islands. We also drove up the coast to see Kaputas, which is beautiful, and Pataras (we weren't that impressed — maybe because it was oppressively hot or because we live near beautiful sandy beaches along Lake Michigan). Stopped in Kalkan long enough to see that Kas was a much better choice (much more charm)!
I highly recommend Villa Indigo and we would return in a heartbeat. If you stay, be sure to walk to the Amphora and Aquarius swim platforms and hire Hakan's sister to prepare a traditional Turkish dinner at the villa for you.
This villa is very special, exactly as described, with a breathtaking location and view. Beautifully appointed throughout. We loved Kas early in season, a welcome relIef from busier Aegean resorts. Kate and Hakan could not have been more welcoming and considerate owners. We needed a quiet location to unwind, with still some great life for an entertaining evening and Kas was perfect. Can't recommend enough, well be back. The bathing platform at the nearby hotel was a hit with some of the gang, so much so they stayed another week! Thanks to Kate and Hakan once again.
WOW. What can I say.....
This villa is amazing and is everything it says on the tin! We have just come back from one of the best family holidays we have ever had.
Kate & Hakan were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and Kate had left a welcome pack so we could all have something to eat and drink on arrival. Hakan came to visit us on the first day to show us how everything worked and gave us some useful information about Kas and answered all our questions.
The villa itself is bright, airy and spotlessly clean with all the mod-cons. The views around the pool are beautiful and the sunset is simply breath taking. The pool and patio area is cleaned every day by Mehmet (what a lovely man) and if you ask him, he or his son will bring you fresh bread every morning and you pay him at the end of the week. You get a lovely breeze in the afternoon on the peninsula which believe me can be quite a relief.
We decided to stay in a couple of nights and had a BBQ as the kids wanted to stay in the flood lit pool, there is plenty of room to eat alfresco.
If you wanted a bit of peaceful time in a shaded area there is the 'Secret Garden', it is lovely and shaded and is just round the side of the villa.
The dolmus stops right outside the villa and costs 2TL to get into Kas, they run every half hour, quarter past and quarter to the hour. Because there were 11 in our party occasionally the dolmus would be too full for us all to fit in so they would phone for one to come and pick us up within 5 mins, nothing was too much trouble. Coming back to the villa, the bus stop is just by the Mosque in the Square and leaves on the hour and half hour. Taxis are one price, 17TL, handy if you have a lot of shopping.
Kas itself is so pretty with the quaintest little back streets full of bars, restaurants and little shops. No-one hassles you to buy and you are left to look around the shops at your leisure. The prettiest foreign town I have visited by far.
If you want a laugh with the staff - The Calamar
Good food and the view over the town and harbour - The Dolphin
Lovely meal - The Maya (you have to go through the shop)
Lazy day boat trip to Kakova
I would recommend Villa Indigo to everyone. Thank you Kate & Hakan for making our holiday very special and one we will never forget.
Would we go back?...... In a heartbeat!
Kas is a small harbour town nestled at the foot of the Taurus mountains, looking across the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean towards the Greek island of Castellerizo (Meis). Although now a tourist destination, Kas has avoided mass tourism and still maintains its beauty, charm and relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Steeped in history from Lycian times, you are in close walking distance to the ancient amphitheatre or rock tombs. Wander the small, bustling streets and browse the many shops offering a variety of traditional handicrafts, textiles and designer jewellery. Try out the restaurants and bars, many offering beautiful views across the sea. Enjoy a relaxing day at one of the many small pebble beaches in or around Kas, go on a boat trip or get involved in something a bit more energetic-scuba diving, walking the Lycian Way, kayaking, para-gliding ,to name a few. Make or book a trip out of Kas to explore the sunken city of Kekova, Patara beach and ruins, Saklikent Gorge and more.
Other Activities: Visiting ancient sites, shopping for carpet, kilims, textiles & other local handicrafts, exclusively designed jewellery, boat tours.
