Apartment on two levels in prime position, spectacular uninterrupted sea views. 2 mins walk to Beach. Perfect for children of all ages -babies/toddlers/teenagers.

LEISURE CENTRE: with Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, patio doors opening onto sun terrace. Sauna, Spa, Pool Table and Table Tennis. Changing Rooms with Showers.

2 Tennis Courts, with all weather surface.

Children's outdoor Play Area, plus area for Ball Games.

Rental costs are INCLUSIVE OF ALL LEISURE FACILITIES, which are for the sole use of owners and guests.

LOCATION: designated 'area of outstanding natural beauty', in parkland setting of approx 30 acres, with well-maintained grounds, shrubs, flowers and woodland footpaths.

KITCHEN: well equipped, updated 2010

BEDROOMS: On ground floor. Bedroom 1 - Kingsize bed, colour TV/DVD/Freeview. Bedroom 2 - 2 single beds, single sofabed, colour TV/DVD/Freeview. All beds new in 2011.

Patio doors open onto patio/grassed area, with uninterrupted sea views.

BATHROOMS: En-suite shower room and Family bathroom - both recently updated

OUTSIDE: Gas BBQ, Kettler sun loungers with cushions, large table, 6 chairs & parasol, plus beach chairs, parasol, body surf boards, wind break, children's beach toys, etc.

CARETAKING: A local Management Company takes care of the property and is available 24hr/7days.

A 'Welcome Pack' of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits is provided for guests.

All bed linen and bath towels are provided and are luxury Egyptian cotton.

GOLF: Maenporth has several golf courses nearby, including the excellent Falmouth golf course, approximately 1 mile from Maenporth (18 hole & driving range) overlooking the sea. Guests, including children, are very welcome and private and group lessons are available. There are a number of other excellent golf courses within easy traveling distance.

TRAVEL: Maenporth in approximately 280 miles from London, traveling via the M3, A303 or M4 (M5 from the North), and A30. There are trains to Falmouth, via Truro, and flights to Newquay airport (approximately 30 min from Maenporth).

DISTANCES: FALMOUTH is approximately 2 miles away and provides a good selection of restaurants and shops, together with the NATIONAL MARITIME MUSEUM.

THE PICTURESQUE HELFORD RIVER is within walking distance, or a 10 minute drive.

THE LIZARD PENINSULAR AND POLDARK COINTRY is nearby, with many beautiful beaches, coves and villages, including Cadgwith, Coverack, Mullion, Lizard Lighthouse, Kynance Cove, Gunwalloe beach, The Goonhilly Downs Satellite Earth Station and Heritage Tin Mine sites, used to film the latest Poldark TV series.

The nearest village is Mawnan Smith, which is 3 kilometres away and has village shops and pub.

TRURO with its famous cathedral and good selection of shops is about 30 minutes drive away.

Wonderful holiday home with stunning view!

We had a great week here, everything was spotlessly clean and very well equipped, warm and cosy after days out in the chilly April weather! Owners were prompt with email replies and local info in accommodation was very useful. We are already looking to book for next year!

Superb apartment and stunning views

We've just returned from a wonderful holiday staying in 3 The Ridges. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need for a holiday and we found their folder of suggested places to visit, restaurants, etc. very helpful. Hiring a boat and mooring outside the Pandora Inn and bike rides on the coast to coast track were particular highlights.

The property is absolutely no perfect and everything is modern and up to date. The views are truly stunning.

We had breakfast on the balcony, a glass (or two!) of wine in the evening and BBQs on the patio, all whilst enjoying the wonderful views.

We and our three children loved the leisure centre, tennis courts and children's play area and found all the staff extremely helpful and friendly and the grounds are beautiful.

Altogether a fantastic holiday and we're already planning to return next year.

Can't tire of that view

We stayed for a week with our daughter, her partner and our grandson (6 months). The property was spotlessly clean with a nice welcome in the fridge (not forgetting the cookies). The bedrooms are a decent size (the travel cot fitted in either) and are on the lower level and open out onto the lovely patio/garden area, along with its furniture and excellent BBQ. Also two good bathrooms. Worth asking the owners what's there, because our windbreak had a pointless 500 mile round trip!! The upper level has an excellent kitchen and lounge/diner area...bigger than the pictures suggest. The view from the balcony here was really beautiful. There's a few steps to negotiate....some from the car park, then a flight down as you enter the property, plus the final flight to the bedrooms. Not a problem for us....helped with the pasties eaten, as did the walk up from the beach....but that's how you get those views. The swimming pool complex was great, with the addition of free table-tennis and 40p pool !! The owners were very helpful with questions and certainly like things of a good standard.

We walked to Swanpool (fairly easy) and Falmouth is just a little further. But with the baby we went to Falmouth by car, parking for free at the end of Melvill Road and strolling into Falmouth from the docks end, going to the Maritime Museum (Tesco vouchers), Wetherspoons, Rick Stein's chippy and The Shed....all very enjoyable, as well as Falmouth itself. There's lots to see in Cornwall and St. Michael's Mount, Newquay (the zoo!!!) are not far away.

Two of us walked up to the excellent Red Lion in Mawnan Smith. There's an excellent route in the owners info pack....but when you get to the unmentioned path crossroad, just carry on straight.

A really lovely, lovely holiday, made very comfortable by 3 The Ridges and its owners.

Wonderful week

We had a nice and comfortable stay at 3 Ridges Meanport. The flat is clean, beautiful, well equipped with easy access to many lovely places nearby - this is a fairly relative measure.

We found anything as described on the booking site and were impressed from the ease of handling. This was our first experience with booking an apartment in the UK (had previous experiences in other EU countries), but we may say this was really easy. Even if we had some doubts, as there was no house number given, the place was easy to find with the description submitted prior to our stay.

We liked a lot the convenience of the apartment owned WiFi connection, as well as the ability to access the Leisure Center, which we missed due the good weather and the many occasions nearby. We had one visit in the restaurant right at the foot of the hill. The meal in the restaurant was classified as delightful by all of us.The rest of the week we cooked on out own, as the kitchen provided a lot of comfort, just as the bottle of wine, the cookies and the milk we found provided for usage in the flat. Many thanks for these details, we appreciated this.

Now we have to deal with the dislikes, that we had. But the list is very short. The time frame for our stay was way too short. But that is not the fault of the owners....

We enjoyed our stay. Of course we would love to come again and recommend this place to friends, if they dare to ask.

Stunning place, thoroughly recommend stay

Very tidy, clean and welcoming. Had everything we needed for a fabulous long weekend with the family. The facilities are great also, lovely pool. It’s a lovely place in a perfect location.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location

We had a lovely time staying at the Ridges. Lovely, clean and modern facilities. Plenty of space for us and the three children (one in a cot). Beautiful views and prime location for visiting south Cornwall. Swimming pool an added bonus and a perfect temperature! We'd love to stay again and highly recommend this little spot of heaven.

THE COVE Bar & Restaurant (thecovemaenporth.co.uk) overlooks Maenporth beach and offers snacks, full meals or just a drink, which can be enjoyed inside or on the patio overlooking the beach & sea.

WATERSPORTS also available at nearby Swanpool Beach (Sailing,w/surfing,canoeing, etc), catering for all ages and see www.falmouthsurfschool.co.uk

FALMOUTH approximately 2 miles away by road (or walk along coastal path), has full range of shops and restaurants and The National Maritime Museum.

A large ASDA supermarket is 5 mins drive from Maenporth.

HELFORD river is within walking distance or 10 minute drive.

LIZARD PENINSULAR has many picturesque coves and villages, including Cadgwith, Coverack, Lizard Point/Lighthouse, Mullion and Kynance. The Gweek Seel Sanctuary and Flambards Theme Park are also nearby.

TRURO with is famous cathedral and range of shops is 30 mins drive.

GOLF: The excellent Falmouth golf course, (18 hole & driving range), overlooking Falmouth Bay, is approximately 1 mile from Maenporth. Visitors are very welcome, including children, and private or group lessons are provided.

There are many other excellent golf courses within easy travelling distance.
