Excellent snorkeling and swimming spot, the beach is surrounded by a reef, making it one of the calmest Kauai beaches. The adventure awaits you in these sparkling waters full of tropical fish and green sea turtles, on this beautiful island of Kauai.
The Townhouse is conveniently located in the heart of Princeville Resort at the Kauai North Shore, nestled between the breathtaking Prince and Makai Golf Course and adjacent to the 5 star resort of The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas. Being in Princeville also means being close to shopping, dining and numerous possibilities for various activities (please see activities section).

Living in Silicon Valley CA, but much rather be living in Kauai...!

The first time I arrived in Princeville, I was so amazed with its beauty and relaxing atmosphere that I decided to make it my second home.
The location was ideal for exploring the island. The appliances were up to date i.e. The washer/dryer. With more attention to details, the unit would be more inviting. The some of the pots/pans and linens are "tired" and need to be retired. Removing the large spider webs from the lanai and a better job of cleaning and staging the unit would be an improvement.
This was a family/21st wedding anniversary trip. The house was nice, well kept, and had all of the things we needed including beach gear. The one issue that I had was the room/loft upstairs. My husband and I were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary the week we were in Kauai. My in-laws stayed in the room downstairs because they were not able to maneuver the stairs. The room upstairs is separated from the loft by shutter doors. This leaves absolutely no privacy for the bedroom. If I had known this, I would have booked another house since this was an anniversary getaway too. If privacy is not an issue for you, this is a great place to stay. If you need privacy upstairs, then know that there isn't any. The owner was extremely nice and the property manager, Tracy, was awesome in helping us with a few issues while we were there.
We stayed from Christmas to New Year's in this clean, well-equipped, spacious, lovely home and had a wonderful time! We made use of the beach gear, BBQ, full kitchen and other thoughtful amenities provided. The owner responded quickly to my questions prior to the trip and the on-site manager was helpful when we were there. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone considering a stay on the north side of Kauai!
We loved our stay at Alex's property. It was well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our time there, which made our travel much less stressful to plan. It had a portable crib for our son and lots of beach equipment! It was walking distance to a shopping center for all of our grocery needs. When we had a problem with the dishwasher, we called the onsite staff and she came to look at it within a few hours, which was great.
The only thing that I would have liked to have where better functioning blinds. They were hard to open and close, and one slat was missing in the master bedroom, which didn't give a lot of privacy to the outside. But to be fair, it didn't bother us enough to contact management, so it really didn't effect our enjoyment of the property too much.
The neighbors at the complex were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I recommend this property for a Northshore vacation spot!
My husband and I spent a lovely two weeks in this condo. It has everything you need from a well equipped kitchen to beach paraphernalia and good books tucked away for relaxing. It is also centrally located in Princeville so it is an easy walk to the city centre for groceries, coffee or the Acai bowls we became addicted to. We also did a daily walk from the condo to the St Regis hotel about 2 miles away. A great way to start the day.
The condo is very clean as well and super quiet at night. Parking is handy. My only tip would be to make sure you bring a flashlight with you if you are arriving at night and make sure you have your GPS working or have printed out a map. The sign for Wiley road is not lit at night so we missed it a couple of times.
The place was perfect for one couple and would also work well with kids.

On site Swimming Pool, Restaurants and Shopping within walking distance, great walking and Jogging Trails with magnificent ocean, mountain and Golf Course views, Prince and Makai Golf Course just steps away, a short walk down a picturesque trail to Anini Beach where you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling, close by Fitness Center and Spa, Scuba Diving, Ocean and Helicopter Tours, Four Wheeling, Luau's and a lot more!
