It was a wonderful place to stay.

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay, it was very welcoming, very clean, and had everything that we needed. It was close to things to do and very close to the shopping center and grocery store. Our owner was very helpful with whatever problems we had and even called to make sure our stay was going well. We will definitely be coming back.

Great house for a small family or friends

  • 4 of 5

Upon check in, we noticed the house hasn't been cleaned from the previous guest as there were rubbish, used linen and clothes around the house. However the Owner and Property Manager promptly turned everything around and we were able to enjoy this lovely townhouse within 2 hours. Due to the quick, polite and caring response from both Owner and Property Manager, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay after this small glitch. The property itself is close to shops and nearby town Hanalei Bay, which was convenient for us to get good food, coffee and surf. I would highly recommend this property for family and/or friends, it is homely and quiet at night situated in a nice area.

Great location, cozy place

  • 4 of 5

Overall, we had a great stay. The condo is well equipped with beach essentials such as boggie boards , cooler, and lawn chairs. There is snorkel gear, but not all masks have attached breathing snorkel. The unit is needing an update - carpets and counter tops are tired. The "bed" in the loft is on a wooden frame - fouton. It's only suitable for a child and the mattress needs replacing. My petite adult daughter moved the mattress to living room and had to fold it for padding. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable. The BBQ is small - we ended up using one from another unit. Please note - no tinfoil, Sarah wrap, spices, or storage containers with matching lids provided. We had brought baggies, TP, and paper towel which are essential. The condo manager did get us a non-stick frying pan promptly when asked. With open windows in all units, it can be noisy with roosters, dogs, and cars parking. We found with putting on the extra floor fans helped to cover the sounds. The path to local beach when wet is dangerous as it's steep and gets very muddy and slippery. You can drive but it's a 20 minute drive.

We loved our time in Kauai - Hideaway Beach and the Trail our highlights.

Owner's Response: We are glad you loved your time in Kauai. We are always striving to provide the best experience for our guests, so your feedback is highly valuable to us. We will make sure that there will be plenty of tinfoil, Sarah wrap and that all masks have attached breathing snorkels. The loft area has a Futon as advertised which is not a bed. The Futon is good for 1 person. The only issue we can’t address is the roosters, they are all over the island. This actually makes Kauai very interesting and unique place. Thank you for providing your feedback!

Lovely apartment on the North Shore

  • 4 of 5

Lovely apartment in great location for all activities on the North Shore of Kauai. We enjoyed dinner out at Hideaways Pizza & Pub. In the Kaapa area Tege Tege shave ice food truck is a must. Also the sleeping giant hike is amazing. Start the walk from the west side of the mountain off 581. The Kalalau track to the beach or the falls as day hikes are the best.😊

Great place to stay

  • 4 of 5

We loved the location, great kitchen, nice bedding and towels. Furniture was perfect. Everything was clean.

Our concerns were for safety. We could not tell when the digital lock on the front door was locked... we got back one day to find that the door was unlocked! There was no sound or light or anything to let us know that the door was indeed locked.

In addition, the lock mechanism on the sliding glass doors was very tricky and could easily have been opened by a strong person who could jiggled the doors.

I must say that nothing happened - no break-ins. The area appears to be quite safe. But, for three women (3 sisters) on vacation, we were concerned!

Owner's Response: We are glad that you did enjoy the Townhouse, its amenities and location. We would like to assure you that the digital lock on the entry door is very reliable and secure (new Schlage lock) and it also makes a slight buzzing noise when the lock is engaged. It is possible that the door was not completely shut, which as a result prevented the lock from engaging with the door frame. As your concern is safety, I would suggest to check the door after locking to make sure it is indeed locked. The sliding door lock is a regular manual locking mechanism which is common for this type of doors. Thank you again for your feedback as we are always striving to provide the best experience for our guests and make sure they feel comfortable and safe in our place.

Pumana #6-d unit 6th - 22nd October

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed staying at this unit. It was very light and airy. The unt was well supplied with utensil's, updated appliances, there was hardly anything that was not needed. I would like to suggest a nonstick frying pan, also a salad spinner would complete the kitchen.

There was plenty of beach towels and chairs, boggie boards, snorkel equipment. The beds were comfortable. We would recommend this rental unit.

The property manager Tracey was very pleasant and helpful.

There is plenty of parking and a nice location. Review by Derek and Susan Walker.
