2 Bedroom Cottage with Sea Views and 5 Minutes walk to Town Centre
About Andy George
I live on the outskirts of London with my wife and dog and have been lucky enough to travel up and down to Poole since i was a young lad with my family, and now with my own family.
Why Andy George chose Poole
The location of this property cannot get much better if you want sea views and to have the option to just leave your car in the drive and walk around Poole and the local area. We've been slowly upgrading the property over the past few years, and its really becoming what we've envisaged now. Those regulars who come back year on year have been making very positive comments. The bathroom was refurbished in 2014, and in May 2015 all carpets replaced, bedroom, lounge and dining room furniture replaced. An internal redecoration was also undertaken. The Kitchen and dining room was all replaced in April 2016 with an external decoration undertaken also.

Lovely little cottage, it catered for all of our needs, five minutes walk from the main harbour where there are bars and restaurants. For anyone visiting and eating out visit Oriel, it’s a lovely Italian restaurant.
Reading one of your reviews before booking somebody complained about having to stand up to enjoy the views, some people just like complaining !! The views were great looking over Brownsea Island and it was also a nice location to watch the world go by. Would I visit here again, absolutely.
Lovely time in Poole
Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Long walks with our dog, brilliant weather. Great weekend again.
Stunning sums it up
Best seaside location I have ever enjoyed.High class interior for a perfect stay. Unable to say anything negative about this holiday home. I definitely hope to return.
Excellent location. Ideal property.
The cottage is located right on the water close to Poole Quay. Couldn't have asked for anything else.
Fabulous accommodation in a great location
The house is bright and tidy with comfortable beds and really everything you could ask for provided. Location is great, to one end of the quay and very quiet with little traffic passing by. Step out the front door and you are a few paces from the harbour front and about ten minutes walk to the old town. There's a small, sheltered garden so we even managed to sit out in the late afternoon (end April).
Nice place to relax
Nice location, excellent dog walking routes and we were very lucky with weather.
Poole is a vibrant, bustling town with stunning views from the Quayside across Poole Harbour, the worlds second largest natural harbour. You can take a stroll down the quayside where many activities can be booked to include Fishing, Diving, Sailing, Kitesurfing and Windsurfing amongst others. There are also numerous boat trips that can be taken in various directions, up to Wareham, across to Brownsea Island, or to the beautiful Sandbanks and Studland Bay beaches.
There are some fantastic walks to be had along the Dorset Jurassic Coast which is steeped in wildlife for all nature lovers. On that note the harbour is of International importance for wildlife conservation and borders 3 nature reserves, whilst also being home to the rare 'Red Squirrel'.
Poole is of great historical interest having been used by the Romans as an Invasion port to take over the South of England, and as a result there have been historical findings with the oldest being a logboat dating back to 295 BC
