2 Bedroom Cottage with Sea Views and 5 Minutes walk to Town Centre

This fisherman's cottage is possibly in THE PERFECT location in Poole. Situated within a stones throw (literally) from the Sea, and right next to the Fisherman's Dock, with direct access to the sea side foot walk onto the Poole Quayside and Town Centre. There is an abundance of activities that you can book to include Fishing Trips, Dive Boats, Sailing Boats, Parascending and more, as well as fantastic array of bars and restaurants that cater for all ages and tastes. The two bedrooms both have stunning sea views, with the master bedroom looking out over the harbour and across to Brownsea Island. There is a comfy lounge area with all expected facilities and a dining area that leads out onto the 'sun trap' patio and garden that backs onto the harbour and is absolutely perfect for BBQ, playing with your children or just relaxing in the sunshine. This fantastic property is child friendly and has off street parking for 2 cars / boats.

About Andy George

I live on the outskirts of London with my wife and dog and have been lucky enough to travel up and down to Poole since i was a young lad with my family, and now with my own family.

Why Andy George chose Purbeck

The location of this property cannot get much better if you want sea views and to have the option to just leave your car in the drive and walk around Poole and the local area.

We've been slowly upgrading the property over the past few years, and its really becoming what we've envisaged now. Those regulars who come back year on year have been making very positive comments. The bathroom was refurbished in 2014, and in May 2015 all carpets replaced, bedroom, lounge and dining room furniture replaced. An internal redecoration was also undertaken.

The Kitchen and dining room was all replaced in April 2016 with an external decoration undertaken also.

Immaculate and perfect position house

Well it got a Wow from us, the moment we opened the door, loved the extra treat, of bread, milk tea/coffee on arrival. The house was in immaculate condition, really well set out, furnished beautifully and perfect little house. Location was great as quick walk and your into Poole town, and other side got amazing open and space and the sea on your door step, so perfect for us and our dog.

Views on both side of the house, with Brownsea island and view of Poole harbour and sandbanks in distance.

The moment we booked the place, got lovely message from the owners, and any information we needed they went out there way to help, so impressed from the beginning. We will be visiting again, and without doubt staying here again. Really was a home from home, and highly recommend, which we have to friends already.

Summer Break

Well equipped comfortable cottage. Nice to have such easy parking. Close enough to harbour for evening stroll to the pub but not too near to be troubled by the bustle of a busy town. Great location for trips to Purbeck Hills, Swanage, Corfe Castle, Studland Bay, Wareham - all in easy reach. Good for boat trips, sea fishing, heritage steam train. Plenty of perfect beaches, especially Poole Beach and Studland Bay.

Excellent position. Modern facilities. Fantastic harbour views

We had a really happy holiday in your lovely cottage. Weather was actually great bar a huge thunderstorm overnight which we mostly slept through!

It was great having wifi. A good router hugely enhances anyone's

holiday options and planning - an "essential" these days, really, in order to feel at home, which we did.

Just for info the dining room sliding door has a loose screw (the bottom one is shot). We got the knack of locking and unlocking it but it could do with fixing before the top screw also gives up!

We very much hope to return next year. Many thanks. 5 stars!

PS. If you ever decide to sell we'd be interested!

Fantastically equipped, wonderful location we would definitely book again.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Poole Quay. The property is in a wonderful location with beautiful views from both the back and front of the property. The cottage is very nicely decorated with all the equipment you could possibly require and a sunny garden with lovely views. The beds were very comfortable and we would definitely like to return to Poole and book again.

Poole is a vibrant, bustling town with stunning views from the Quayside across Poole Harbour, the worlds second largest natural harbour. You can take a stroll down the quayside where many activities can be booked to include Fishing, Diving, Sailing, Kitesurfing and Windsurfing amongst others. There are also numerous boat trips that can be taken in various directions, up to Wareham, across to Brownsea Island, or to the beautiful Sandbanks and Studland Bay beaches.

There are some fantastic walks to be had along the Dorset Jurassic Coast which is steeped in wildlife for all nature lovers. On that note the harbour is of International importance for wildlife conservation and borders 3 nature reserves, whilst also being home to the rare 'Red Squirrel'.

Poole is of great historical interest having been used by the Romans as an Invasion port to take over the South of England, and as a result there have been historical findings with the oldest being a logboat dating back to 295 BC
