Pool / Spa
Excellent ski-in/ski-out condo. Less than a five minute walk to the village. The owner was very easy to work with. The pictures describe the condo very well. My friends and I would definitely stay here again while visiting Big White!
Good, but could be great.
The lid to the hot tub only precariously opened and stayed open. I recommend a better hook system than the one that is in place now. Also, nothing to dry equipment like ski boots on site. Also recommend investing in a couple of those especially for out of town guests that are travelling light. More hooks in the bedrooms to keep wet towels off the floor would be useful. Otherwise, it did the job. Family of 5 on our first Big White ski trip. Three beautiful blue bird days followed by 2 days of fog. Got to see the BC Olympic team members off. Go Canada Go!
Everything You Could Need or Want
This is a lovely townhouse in a perfect position near the Plaza Run. You can ski-in and ski-out from across the road and there is a shuttle stop outside that takes you up to the village - easy. The townhouse has all the mod cons and the kitchen is the best equipped we have stayed in - sharp knives, utensils, herbs/spices, good quality pans and even oven pans. The hot tub is a welcome treat at the end of a day's skiing. Bedding is comfy and plenty of room in the living area. We will certainly stay here again as it is much more reasonable than other Big White places. The owner is efficient and easy to work with too.
Excellent Place to Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was in a great location, the kitchen was fully stocked and the rooms were pretty spacious. No complaints!
Great Condo at Bear's Paw
We really enjoyed our weekend. Great Location, great parking, great hot tub! It would be nice if there were bigger beds, but we made do just fine and would definitely rent again.
Great Stay we will be back!
Relax, there's nothing else to do! This property is very clean and well kept. The hot tub was maintained and clean. There's a large capacity washer and dryer so you can pack light. There's plenty of towels for the hot tub and shower. The pictures on the site are accurate. The owner is very easy to get along with. We have no complaints only notes. This property has stairs to get up to the kitchen area not a problem for us but could be for some. The queen bed upstairs was very comfy we slept great. We found that when we went down the hill to Kelowna it's approx. 10 degrees warmer than Big White was. Summertime is a great time to go to Big White if you want RnR. It's awesomely quiet and not too much going on. Time slows right down when you are here so if you bring the kids you might want to bring their bikes, video games, as many extras as you can fit in your vehicle as they will most likely get bored. Be aware that if you don't know the resort then you don't want to arrive at night. It very difficult to find the streets etc. We were lucky to drive by the security guard in his car and he helped us along. Hiking is good and there's plenty of photo ops to take advantage of including the stars at night. There's a small restaurant close to the main village that serves great food, coffee and a cold beer but they are only open until late afternoon most days. The people that we did talk to were very friendly. Great Summer Stay! We will definitely be back!!
Waterfront and/or Beach
Property is NOT waterfront or within 30 minute drive of a lake, ocean or river.
Snow Skiing and Boarding
Ski/Board Out is a 1 minute walk to a downhill run from the property. Ski/Board In is a 1 minute walk to the property.
Located on Big White, home of great powder skiing and awesome for families. The location is has and#39;Woodcutterand#39; run in one direction for kids, and and#39;Perfectionand#39; ski run in the other direction for others. These runs lead to the Plaza Chair, the Ridge Rocket Express and the Snow Ghost Express chairlifts.
