Property type house
Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

Minimum Stay
3 - 7 nights

Yellow house

Ground floor : a living and dining room (extensible table up to 10 people with 8 chairs, sofa, other seats, fireplace) leads to the kitchen and to one of the bathrooms. First floor : 2 master bedrooms, another bedroom with 2 bunk beds and 2 bathrooms. A stone path, which goes through the wood (150mt), leads to the pool 83 square metres wide. The pool is shared with us and the guests of the red house, open from May to September.

About the property

The property is surrounded by cypress and oak woods, olive and vineyards, dominating a little lonely valley. It is located in one of the most wooded and well preserved part of Chianti Classico area, between S.Donato in Poggio and Castellina in Chianti. It is easy to see roe-deers, even during the day, istrici (a particular kind of porcupine introduced by the Romans, emblem of one 'contrada' of Siena's palio ) and wild boars during the night.

We rent two of our houses, a small villa and a bigger country house, totally independent and separated (on two different levels of the hill) from each other. Both houses, surrounded by green, are fully restored and equipped. One (unit 1019994) can give accommodation to 2/4 people and the other (unit 1228613) up to 8 people. The photos show both the units ; please pay attention to the descriptions.

Swimming pool 83 square metres wide shared with us open from the beginning of May to the beginning of October.

Minimum stay 3 days, discounts from the second week and for smaller groups in the largest house (in low season). Please email me for price.

N.B.: please check the last paragraph (bottom of rates page) for charges (utilities and stay tax) and discounts.

A piece of heaven in Tuscany

  • 5 of 5

Stefano's place was a small piece of heaven. Tastefully decorated, it's situated 'off grid' in a lovely part of Tuscany. Surrounded by woods, olive groves and vineyards, our children loved to play in the outdoors. Stefano was accommodating and kind. We would love to go back and stay longer!

Een goed gevoel!

  • 5 of 5

Magnifique experience

  • 5 of 5

  • 5 of 5

Outstanding Tuscany Villa

  • 5 of 5

We were on a two week road trip from England with 3 adults and 4 children. The villa was our midway point and we stayed 6 nights. The house is presented just as it is in person. It is a galley kitchen but I was able to cook several meals for our family in it. The dishes are all in lounge in the cupboards, just FYI. Upon arrival Stefano, the owner, greeted us with a friendly handsake and two bottles if wine and small bottle of olive oil. We even ordered more wine and olive oil before we left. He was accommodating, friendly and flexible. We had the shower head break off and he came and fixed it within hours. The house was large enough for our group and probably would have been good for at least 3 more. The only hitch to the house was the road going to to it. It is gravel and part of it had a peak in the middle so we did drag the underneath of our van a bit. We were weighed down a great deal and did not drag once we had unloaded the van. Just take it slowly and it will be fine.

We traveled to Lucca and Pisa which was 1hr and 25 MUN away. Florence was 45 minutes away. Bologna was 1 hr 30 minutes. San Gimignano was 25 minutes away. Volpaia was 35 minutes away. Vineyards were as far as you can see in any direction! The location is central and there is plenty to do.

I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful area to stay without being in a busy city!! Also his prices are fantastic!
