We know LA well, are in the entertainment business ourselves, and can help turn you on to all the great restaurants, shopping and attractions.

In the Heart of Downtown Burbank with Disney Studios, Burbank (NBC) Studios, Warner Brothers Studios and Ranch, Nickelodeon Studios, Los Angeles Equestrian Center and so much more, and only three blocks away from Media Center Mall and everything San Fernando Blvd. has to offer – Farmers market, boutique shops, restaurants, and AMC Theatres and so much more. Everything you need is literally within walking distance!!!

One block from Public Transportation, but if you'd like to drive, it's very accessible to the 134 and 5 freeways which can get you easy access to downtown Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Venice, Disneyland, Universal Studios, etc. 15 minutes to Hollywood, N. Hollywood, Studio City and Pasadena, 25 minutes to Downtown LA, 35 minutes to the Beach! You won't find a better location! All this on in the best possible neighborhood!

The local Holiday Inn and Marriott Hotels are currently charging $164 - $229 per night + 12% tax + $10-15 for WiFi + Parking for a room only!! This would be better now, wouldn't it??? :)

This is one of three of our VRBO listings. Please check out our others and their reviews (#499512 & #508528). We have lived in Burbank for many years at the property you are considering. We now live only 6 blocks away (we remain in Burbank, of course) and, as such, would be accessible to you during your stay for any questions or concerns you may have, or just to chat and give you advice on things you'd like to see or places you like to go. We are extremely positive people who love life and have healthy senses of humor. We would love to meet you and be of service to you in making your stay as extremely enjoyable as possible.

We bought the property in 1998. It is our baby. It was built in the mid-1950s and although we have kept the original hardwood floors, and the original tile on the kitchen counters and surrounding the original bathtub, as we wanted to maintain some of the 'history' of the property, many items about the apartment have been updated, while it still maintains its 'quaint' appeal. It doesn't 'feel' like a hotel. It 'feels' like a home-away-from-home.

Why TJ chose San Fernando Valley

Well, we are biased, because we just love Burbank. It is it's own 'little city' within Los Angeles county, and is clean, comfortable, safe, accommodating and in an excellent central location for anyone who is coming in for pilot season, temporary employment at the studios, as a place to stay during your transition into moving here, and so much more. If our freeways intimidate you, this area is within walking distance to anything you would need to enjoy your stay here, no matter the reason.

Excllent well-located unit with everything you need.

We recently spent a month at the property – for the third year in a row. Once again, everything went well. This is a pleasant, fully equipped small apartment-sized cottage, with excellent privacy. There is living room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen with a dinette area. It has a TV with cable, a DVR, a DVD player and high-speed wireless internet. There is even an in-unit full sized washer & dryer. The unit has a small but pleasant back yard and reserved, off-street parking just a few steps from the door.

The owners are friendly and interesting people, who live nearby. They will come, in just a few minutes, to take care of any problem – but we never had a problem.

The unit is conveniently located. There is a major shopping mall just a couple of blocks away. Also in easy walking distance is a street with a wide variety of eating places, ranging from upscale restaurants to fast food.

We really love this place, and hope to keep coming back.

Perfect!

The apartment was cozy and comfortable. The bed was great, not too firm, not too soft - and lots of extra pillows. Everything was clean and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. The little back yard was so cute! And walking distance from a lot of restaurants and entertainment. Loved it! This is where we will stay the next time we're in Burbank, for sure!

My husband and I visit the USA each year from Australia and our stay at Tonja & Sam's apartment in Burbank this year will be our 6th time staying at this property and will certainly not be our last. From the very first time we stayed at this adorable apartment to this time around, we have been nothing but amazed at the level of cleanliness and provision of everything you could want for when on vacation. From the moment you step in to the apartment, you discover the warm and comfortable furnishings which make you feel right at home during your stay. The apartment has cable TV for those cosy nights in watching movies and free Wi-Fi which always makes life easier when away from home. The apartment provides loads of spare linen and bedding which is very helpful. There are also plenty of kitchen utensils for cooking in the apartment when you don't feel like eating out. For those times that you do venture out, the apartment is within walking distance to everything you could need. There are grocery stores, shopping malls and lots of restaurants / cafes all within a short walk from the apartment. The apartment is in the perfect location situated within walking distance to everything but far enough away from the hustle of the main streets to make you feel like you are in the hills. The apartment is also super close to the freeway entrance for those with a car.

In summary, we think this apartment is just wonderful and we are proud to call it our "Home Away From Home" which we will do for many more years to come.

P.S. Make sure when booking this apartment, you request a special meet and greet with the apartment mascots Frank & Jimmy, as they are sure to put a smile on your face.

Lovely and cozy flat for two!

Clean, convenient, cozy and well-appointed one bedroom flat with everything you need at your fingertips. Off-street parking is a real plus. Convenient to many restaurants and shopping. Easy to get around all of LA from this Burbank location. Would definitely stay there again if we go back out to California. Owners were great. This is a winner property!

Fantastic, convenient, and responsive!

We just stayed at this property while attending the Rose Bowl. TJ was very easy to work with, very responsive when we had questions about the area, and the apartment is clean with easy access to LA, Pasadena, and Hollywood! We would definitely rent her property again! Very reasonably priced as well! Thanks for a great stay!!

So close to everything

I’ve stayed in this unit before and found it close to everything. So this time, I chose not to have a car for much of my time. It was great. And Tonja and Sam have done a fantastic job with a recent updating of the unit. It was lovely and just so comfortable in layout and feel. I had a wonderful time.
