Lovely traditional house in the heart of historic Skopelos Town on three floors with two en-suite double bedrooms and a generous open-plan living room with kitchen. Recently restored it has all creature comforts while retaining its original features. The balcony offers views across Skopelos harbour to the hills beyond. The garden has a traditional barbecue fireplace. It is ideal for cooking and eating under the bountiful lemon tree. The villa is located in the oldest and quietest part of town 50 metres from the bustling waterfront. Skopelos Town rises steeply from the harbour like an amphitheatre. It is a wonderful place to wander through the maze of winding alleyways hung with bougainvillea, jasmine and hibiscus. The harbour, lined with mulberry trees that provide shade for the tavernas and cafes, is the focus of the town. Everyone who has stayed in the house has loved it. It has everything you could need from a Greek island town house. We provide free Wi-Fi.

A romantic little house, in a great position on a beautiful little island
Chris and Ali's place was wonderful. A romantic little house, in the middle of the old town, overlooking the harbour. there are lots of excellent tavernas within walking distance. Good to rent a car to visit the beautiful island with great beaches and wonderful views

Beautiful, charming, carefully renovated old house
We had a lovely time in the heart of the town of Skopelos. The house is old and beautifully renovated, with simplicity, care for old things and local touch of the Greek islands. Very clean and well taken care of. We had high expectations and were not disappointed at all. Close to the water, close to several good restaurants. The view of the harbor from the kitchen or the balcony or the terrace was often exciting with a lot of ships and sailing boats coming and going. As a Greek and having been in Skopelos before, staying at this old house gave our vacation a very personal touch, we were part of the town rather staying at a hotel. Highly recommended little paradise.
Honeymoon in Skopelos!
My husband and I spent the first part of our honeymoon at Chris and Ali's house on Skopelos. We were absolutely enchanted by the neighborhood, the (gorgeous, comfortable) house, the terrace and especially the lemon tree! The house was clean, comfortable and 100% charming.
Before the trip, I communicated often with Chris to find out about ferry schedules and alternate ways of getting to Skopelos (as it became clear we wouldn't make the last ferry of the day to Skop), and he was patient and accommodating and provided some excellent suggestions. Nana, his representative on the island, helped us arrange a water taxi from Skiathos to Skop, and then a taxi from Loutraki to Skopelos Town, which went off without a hitch! We are grateful for her and Chris's insight.
We loved watching the boats pull into the harbor, relaxing on the terrace, taking the bus to the various beaches around the island (we loved Panormos and Milia) and trying out all the wonderful restaurants. For the most breathtaking view we suggest walking up to Cafe Thalassa for a pre-dinner drink. Phenomenal!
Spending four days in Skopelos was the perfect way to start our honeymoon, and Chris and Ali's house made it even more ideal. My only disappointment is that we did not get to stay there longer. I am dreaming about returning there for another vacation!
Our family had a great Christmas holiday on the island at this rental. The owners were easy to work with. The lady that helps them on the island was amazing. She helped us get to the island, met us at the ferry, had everything mapped out and the villa already. People were friendly, food was amazing and the sights were great. The villa was full of character, quaint, very well located. We would highly recommend this island and villa.
A little piece of paradise!
We spent a week in Chis and Ali's home in Skopelos and it wasn't nearly enough time! Perfectly located, quaint, a lovely little private patio with a lemon tree...we couldn't have asked for more. The communication with Chis and Ali was seamless. On the island, Nana was the perfect introduction to Skopelos. She welcomed us and made us feel right at home. Waking up in the morning to look out the bedroom window to see the Skopelos harbor was the icing on the cake. We would highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heart beat!
A real house
It matches perfectly with pictures and description. Not the artificiality of a hotel or a holiday apartment but a real greek traditional house. Clean, comfortable, and with an identity. The evenings spent under the lemon tree reading a book are worth the experience.
Skopelos is a green jewel in the blue Aegean. Recognised as one of the most beautiful islands in Greece, the pine-forested island has two towns, Skopelos at one end and the little mountain village of Glossa at the other with the one main road linking them. The superb beaches are easily reached by bus, car or motorbike. Some are secluded and deserted while others offer umbrellas, recliners and tavernas. All of them are fantastic for swimming and snorkelling in the crystal-clear water. There are wonderful walks with opportunities to explore valleys of plane trees fed by abundant spring water, hillsides of umbrella pines hiding small churches and white-washed monasteries, fruit orchards, olive groves, cliff-top tracks used by large, shaggy goats and surveyed by birds of prey, and many dramatic views across to neighbouring islands. Mamma Mia fans can enjoy the beaches seen in the film and visit the church on the rock. Traditional Greek hospitality is still flourishing in Skopelos.
We ask for a 50% deposit to secure the booking. the balance is due for payment eight weeks before the start of the rental period.
