About the property

3 Bedroom 3 Bath Ranch Style Home Fully Loaded

Welcome to our personal vacation home! I (Alex) have just finished a remodel inside the home, and am putting the finishing touches on the outside, including new landscaping.

Our newly remodeled single story home is over 2300sq/ft, and has three (3) bedrooms and three (3) bathrooms. The house currently sleeps 8, and has one King, one Queen, one Double, a Double futon, and Two Twin beds.

We have an onsite client service manager who oversees my property while I'm out of town, and is happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

The kitchen has just been remodeled from the ground up. The granite counter topped cherry shaker style cabinets rest on a high quality travertine tile floor. All the stainless steel appliances are brand new as well.

In the back yard there's a 27' pool, and newly remodeled in ground hot tub. The cabana next to the pool has a 3/4 bathroom with a shower.

Commercial grade recliner chairs are available so you can comfortably soak in the sun. The pool is surrounded by a fence to protect children and pets.

For your added protection, I've just added a new security system which you can arm while home or away, and the password is randomly generated by our on-site client service manager for each new guest.

The large covered back patio by the pool has a built-in gas grill, sink, and a 4 top table and chairs.

About Alex Worthen

We're Alaskans who have slowly become more and more cold blooded over the years. This property is our personal warm weather retreat during the winter time.

I (Alex) was born and raised in Anchorage, AK, and have spent most of my life up there. I did my undergraduate at the University of Alaska Anchorage, and went to the University of Washington for graduate school.

I love traveling and visiting new places. During my free time when I'm not thawing out in Las Vegas, I enjoy scuba diving, motorcycles, soccer, and traveling abroad. I've been to almost 50 different countries, and have had a chance to stay in quite a few vacation rentals. I really enjoy meeting new people, sharing memories, and creating new experiences.

Why Alex Worthen chose Nevada

Since this is our personal home away from home, we've set it up to accommodate us accordingly. The location is excellent, and allows for a short drive to most major attractions. Our home sits in the historic district, and most of the neighbors have lived on our street for years, if not decades.

The neighbors are friendly, and the neighborhood is very quiet. It's a great place to spent time relaxing, while still being a short drive to the less-than-quiet parts of Las Vegas.

What makes this house unique

In a city that has mostly cookie-cutter properties, this home and neighborhood stand out. We love the single floor layout, and the large private back yard. There's a 27 foot long pool in the back yard, and a brand new in ground hot tub is being installed as I type this.

The house has everything you need in the house, including Direct Tv, 10mbps internet with WiFI, a security system with a code created just for you, and an onsite client service manager to handle any questions or issues that may arise, plus all the normal home amenities.

All you have to do to enjoy this house is bring yourself, a friend (or 7) and a toothbrush. A welcome packet will point you in the right direction for attractions, groceries, and the like.

We came to LV to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday, and Alex's place was the perfect respite outside of our daily activities. The location was perfect to enjoy the Vegas life, but also remove yourself from the loud and active strip life. We enjoyed the comfort like it was our own home, and were able to enjoy the pool during the 107+ degree days. Deb (the property manager) was so helpful and gave us an amazing recommendation to add to our list - the El Dorado Mine. A must see is the Red Rock Canyon and Hoover dam, which are so easy to get to from Alex's home. We will definitely come back and stay at your beautiful home when we return. D, L, N, T, M, K, D & H

Beautiful home and convenient to strip

Stayed with 3 friends to play in the wsop. The home is nicely decorated and the backyard is perfect. There are a few things the house needs but they are relatively minor.

New skillets are needed

The ceiling fan in one of the rooms is missing the pulls which made it difficult to control fan

Black out blinds or something similar would be helpful as the house is full of light which is great except when it is 5:45a.m.

Definitely recommend this house, Debbie was very nice and helpful!!

This house was great and exactly what we were looking for. Great neighborhood - very quiet. The interior of the house was clean and spacious and the air conditioning worked well. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great. The pool was refreshing on those hot afternoons. The hot tub was perfect and heated up quickly. The backyard was so nice to sit in first thing in the morning and enjoy the quiet morning and cool breeze. Very easy to get to the Strip. Deb (the property manager?) was delightful and friendly. She gave some great ideas. We will definitely stay here again.

Very clean and spacious.

Alex's home was very clean, spacious, and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was about 10 minutes from the strip - perfect distance, as we were there for a different show each night. It was even closer to the Stratosphere. Valley of Fire was a great day trip. We would stay here again!

Great hub for a family vacation!

There were 7 on our family vacation, 4 adults and 3 kids. We had a great time in this home, using it as a hub for day trips out of Vegas to the Red Rock Canyon. Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Death Valley. The house was super clean, well stocked and was the perfect size for our family. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and we used the grill on two different nights. Smith's grocery store was right around the corner which made it really easy to grab food to make at the house.

Deb, the property manager, had great suggestions on things to do in the surrounding area.

We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Alex for opening your home to use.

Clean, well-kept home very close to the strip with caretaker staying in converted garage

I would like to say that this home was very easy to book and we were very happy with the condition and cleanliness of the home. We were surprised that an onsite property manager meant that a woman lives in the converted garage and the only thing separating you from her is the laundry room. She entered the property while my daughter was sick, sleeping in her room. She knocked on the door and my daughter didn't answer so she came into the house. She did offer to make my daughter soup but I didn't know that she was going to enter the property and I wasn't notified, which I should have been. What if one of us was getting out of a shower?? What about the security of my things?? It's not like a maid coming to clean the room at a hotel and you are prepared for that and secure your valuables in a safe. This was totally unexpected and unacceptable. The reason that she entered was something to do with an alarm system code and had I got a call or text, I would've been okay with that. When I rent a home, I do it because I really want to have complete privacy and I don't feel that we had this at this property. The caretaker also parks her car in the driveway so don't plan that you'll have all of the drive space available. For a lot of people, these things won't be a problem but I just think that this should be better disclosed. She's a very nice woman but we just weren't expecting this and it made our stay a bit uncomfortable.
