About the property

**We require a five-night stay when booking further than 21 days out during the off seasons (winter, spring, fall). We accept a three-night stay within 21 days of the check-in date.

**During the summer we rent by the week from Saturday to Saturday. If interested, please check the calendar for availability and the rate details.**

This 3-bedroom, 2-bath upper-level unit is full of original Folly Beach charm. The house was built in the 1930s, but has recently been completely renovated to add all of the modern conveniences while at the same time restoring the classic look of a Folly Beach cottage to each unit.

The home is ideally located for visitors who want to walk to all of the local attractions. The beach, the pier, and BLU, the only ocean front restaurant and bar in the Charleston area, are within easy walking distance (2 blocks). Center Street's restaurants and shops are just a block away. Downtown Charleston, with its historic architecture, carriage rides, museums, and fine dinning is less than 15 minutes away as well.

The home itself is just as ideal as its location. Visitors can lounge on one of two wonderful porches. The shady front porch runs the length of the house and gets a fabulous beach breeze. It is a perfect spot to catch up on your beach reading or to watch the world go by; you can even catch a glimpse of the ocean. The back porch, a sunny spot outfitted with a table and chairs, is a perfect spot to soak up some sun, have lunch, or watch the sunset.

From the front porch, step into the main living area which includes the living room and dinning room. The home's hardwood floors, original wood paneling, architectural details, and eight large windows give this space a bright, classic beach cottage look.

There are three lovely bedrooms in the home. The king bedroom has a crisp, classic decor and is equipped with a flat screen TV. The adjacent bedroom has two twin beds and a decor that is fun and festive. These two rooms share a stylish bathroom that boasts a claw-foot tub. The queen bedroom has its own private bath and french doors opening onto the back porch.

The kitchen is bright, spacious, and includes gorgeous granite counter-tops and all of the amenities. The cooks in your party will appreciate the attention to detail and will be able to whip up a fantastic dinning experience with ease. Every gadget and accessory has been provided, so don't worry about bringing your micro-zester from home!

Additionally, the home has such conveniences as a washer and dryer and free WiFi. On your arrival, you'll find a welcome basket that will ease the unpacking process.

We have a no-smoking and a no-pet policy. We rent by the week in the summer.

Brad and I have been living on Folly Beach for nine years. We gutted and renovated our own home and enjoyed the process so much that we have renovated several other properties. Brad does all of the work himself and his attention to detail really shows. We live right around the corner from our rental property, so if you need anything, just let us know.

This home is so close to everything! The beach, the pier, and Center Street are all within easy walking distance. The interior of the home is bright, sunny, and decorated with comfort in mind. Additionally, we take care of our properties ourselves rather than having a realty company handle the bookings, maintenance, and cleaning. We personally inspect our properties weekly to make sure that our guests have the best experience possible.

Beach, fun and Folly

This beach town is a fun little island from the lighthouse end to the lovely public park beach .....and everything in between. No tall high rise hotels but beach does have lifeguards with chair and umbrella rentals.

The beach is wide and easy to get to with plenty of room for whatever your family wants to do there.

There is a long pier to walk out on with a restaurant and gift store...something for everyone.

This home is a very easy walk to the beach, pier, a local grocery that has it all, shops and restaurants.....even with folks from 2 years to 70!!

The home is very roomy, has equipped kitchen, 2 decks, private parking, super comfy beds, and all else one would need for a vacation of fun.

All restaurants we went to were delicious with many having live music.

It is an easy drive into Charleston for a different experience from the beach.

The owners were very easy and acomadating to work with. They helped us with any questions we had.

We enjoyed our stay with our family as we celebrated being together!

Awesome vacation home!

We had the best time in Folly and The Hock's Cooper Ave vacation home could not have been better! The place is new and updated and it was VERY clean! The location is perfect with less than a block to walk to restaurants and the downtown area. We had the upstairs unit and there are 2 porches - one on the front and one on the back side. It was so nice to sit out with coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. The beach is just a very short .2 mile walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will be booking this one again.

We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again. We pretty much had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels to go around. Starter supplies of most household items (dish soap, detergent, toilet paper, etc.) would maybe have been nice to add dishwasher soap and coffee filters to that list, but can't think of anything else. I was very surprised at how quiet it was with being so close to town!
