2 bedroom penthouse apartment sleeping 4/5 in a desirable sea front location

This beautiful family owned apartment is in pristine condition. Light and airy with an open plan feel giving you plenty of room to relax and enjoy the panoramic views from the large furnished balcony overlooking the harbour, La Gomera and the setting sun. The complex is situated just off the promenade between the Club Atlantis and the Club Tropical Jardine. The property has two bedrooms, both fitted with double wardrobes, the master bedroom having an en-suite bathroom. Both bedrooms are equipped with TV/DVD players. Well equipped kitchen and utility room. Quiet yet desirable pool with separate child's pool, poolside bar and restaurant. The complex also has a laundrette and 24 hour manned reception. 5 minutes walk to the beach, supermarkets, many restaurants and bars. 5-20 minute taxi ride to any of the numerous golf courses on the island and a short walk to both the water park and newly opened Siam Park or a 3 minute taxi ride to both.

Linen/Maid Service: Towels and linen are included and the property is cleaned prior to arrival. The apartment is cleaned once a week but additional cleaning/bed linen and towels can be organised if required. Towels are not for pool use.

Hotel Panorama: The Panorama complex is meticulously maintained and spotless with a busy yet quiet swimming pool and sun loungers. The pool is heated from November - February. Padded cushions are available in our apartment but if you require more, they are available by the pool at a cost of 1.50 Euro per day, parasols are also available at the same cost. The poolside bar is open from 11.00am - 6.00pm each day, where drinks, hot meals, snacks and ice-creams can be purchased. The complex has its own restaurant as it offers half board facilities to there tour operators but it can also be used by other people staying on the complex, at a cost to you.

The reception is manned 24 hours a day and they have there own security guard patrolling the complex during the night.

As we are ideally situated, our complex is suitable for every age, both the young and old will find plenty to do whilst enjoying the tranquil setting. Shops, bars, quiet and lively within minutes, as is the beach and marina.

Accessibility: Although the complex is wheelchair/pram friendly and has a lift, unfortunately there are six steps to our front door, so would be unsuitable for an adult who is unable to walk.

We have a large open plan kitchen with oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, glassware and all the necessary essentials for preparing your own meals. There is also a utility room which houses a washing machine, ironing board, iron and plenty of space for those unpacked suitcases. The living room is 24ft x 20ft and features 2 sets of patio doors, large three piece suite, 6 seater dining table and chairs, TV, DVD and hi-fi home entertainment system. The patio doors lead onto a spacious balcony which has both patio furniture and two sun loungers, enabling you to sit and relax watching the world go by whilst taking in the panoramic views and beautiful sunsets. The 5th bed is a fold up standard size single bed, which is kept in the utility room and can be pulled out when/if required. There is plenty of space in both bedrooms to use the single bed in. .

Great Apartment, superb location

We have stayed in this apartment 4 times now. We enjoy walking so the location is ideal for us. The apartment is clean and being self catering has everything you need. The view from the balcony especially at sunset is spectacular. A great place to enjoy a sundowner. We stay for 3 weeks so we need somewhere with enough space to chill out and relax in a comfortable lounge. John and Shelley are easy to deal with which makes the booking process easy. We will be back.

The moment you set food in the appartment the smell of raw sewerage hits you. There are cockroaches in the kitchen and bathrooms and ants in the kitchen cupboards.The bedding is very old and discoloured and neither of the Tvs in the bedrooms work.

Owner's Response: Previously 1 negative review in 7 years is pretty good! All others are 4 or 5 Star reviews complementing our beautiful apartment which is always immaculately presented. The current guests have been in for 3 weeks and depart on the 17 January, they have not reported any bad smell, insects, or broken TVs. Bed linen is regularly renewed. Mrs Patricia Hart demanded a 50% refund after her visit. Naturally we requested photographic evidence of her complaint yet to date no evidence has been received. Also we contacted guests who visited immediately before and after her in order to investigate and obtain a balanced view from 3 sets of guests. Neither of the visitors shared her views and had no negative feedback only positive comments. As Mrs Hart has been unable to provide any evidence supporting her claims we were unwilling to give a 50% refund and she resorted to making false derogatory comments also quoting untruths in her review. Yet we are very receptive to suggestions on how to improve the holiday experience for our guests, immediately dealing with any issues and replacing broken items. Our guests are often couples who use the ensuite bathroom only, the main bathroom can go unused for weeks on end and it is then occasionally we can get a bit of a whiff which we know is caused by long standing water in the wash basin or shower U bend, however as soon as they are flushed the smell immediately goes away. Normally our housekeeper flushes and cleans the sink and shower in preparation for new arrivals. We always provide guests with her contact number in case of any unforeseen circumstances. Also as the apartment is elevated on Level 3 it is rare however we do get the odd insect that naturally can make their way through open doors/windows as the complex does have palm trees, shrubs and bushes in a garden which is directly below and adjacent to our end of row position. In the 11 year’s we have been owners, the Hotel maintenance staff continually administer anti-pest treatments on the paths and gardens consequently we rarely see any pest insects. We have asked Mrs Hart on a couple of occasions to provide photographic evidence, to date we have received nothing, yet she is allowed to post her fictitious review. This apartment is stunning and the bookings calendar speaks for itself!!

Owner's Response: The Complex does not have Air Conditioning (AC) therefore we purchased mobile AC units for the bedrooms and as so advertised the apartment as having AC. They turned out not to be the most effective form of AC however we also have very good ceiling fans in the bedrooms

Stayed in the apartment for 10 days in January. Lovely flat in a fantastic location. Very clean. John and Shelly are very easy to deal with. Turn out of the complex and the promenade to Fanabe and Los Cristianos is 50 metres away. There is a shopping complex at the top of the road with a Mercadona for all your shopping (John and Shelly even provide a bag on wheels for shopping). Buses at the top of the road for easy transport. The Bus station is less than 10 minutes away for transport from the airport and all over the island. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend and hope to return with friends in the future.

Five Star Accommodation.

Just back from staying in this apartment and superb is the only way I could describe it. It has everything anyone could want and the cleanliness of the apartment is amazing. The views from the balcony are unbelievable and it was a pleasure to sit in the evening watching the sunset. The location of the apartment is ideal as it is close to everything and the panorama complex is a nice safe,quiet complex.We have stayed in numerous hotels in tenerife but none of them compared to this apartment. I look forward to booking this apartment in the future and will be recommending it to other family and friends. The La Gran Paella Valencia restaurant just a few steps down the hill is definitely to be recommended. Very inexpensive and boy what a feed you get. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Thank you John and Shelley for allowing us to rent your apartment and will without doubt be in touch with you again in the near future.

The Panorama is located in the Puerto Colon area of Las Americas on the sea front. A quiet area as there is no through road just an access road which leads down to the promenade from the roundabout at the San Eugenio Shopping Centre, 200metres away where you will find an excellently stocked, air-conditioned supermarket which sells fresh meat, fish,fruit and veg as well as all the toiletries you will need. The view from our balcony is an uninterrupted one of the sea and of the island of La Gomera and the sun sets directly in front. The Hotel Tropical Gardens is next to us on our left, and the Hotel Club Atlantis is next to us on our right and good quality restaurants to suite all budgets are plentiful. The walk to Los Christianos will take about an hour and about 40 minutes to Del Duque in the other direction. The fantastic Siam and Aqua Theme Parks are both a 10 minute walk. The 15 minute taxi ride from the South Airport will cost approx. 25 Euros. The Veronicas is a 20 minute walk.

Golf: There are numerous Gold Courses on the island and they are all accessible within minutes by taxi.
