We live in Little River, SC on the South Carolina coast. A few miles north of Myrtle Beach. I am a retired third gread teacher and my husband is a partner in metal roofing company. We fell in love with our mountain house after a visit to our partner's cabin who own the cabin up the mountain. We became great friends with the builder who lives in Whittier, NC. If fact this was his home and we begged him to let us buy it. What interested us in the house was when Rusty told us that when you come to the cabin, 'You are either lost or are coming for a visit.'
Why they chose this property
We chose this property to use as a vacation home to get away from the hot and humid summers we have living at the beach. The day the clouds rolled by at eye level and the bear walked across our now vacant lot helped us make our decision to buy this cabin.
