About the property

Overlooking Old Town Albufeira & Fisherman's Beach a few mins walk away!

Nestled in the hillside overlooking the Old Town and Fisherman's Beach, our apartment's balcony and huge windows are south facing, making it very light and airy. Whilst there is a great sea view from the balcony, it's spectacular from the complex's private pool and terrace! Just 2 minutes walk away you'll find the Old Town square with its numerous bars and restaurants, and the escalator down to Fisherman's Beach. We hold the official Alojamento Local renting license, and in our 15th year (a quarter of our guests return time & time again!) we still reinvest regularly to add everything needed for a home from home, like completely private wifi, over 200 UK TV channels inc Sky Movies & Sky & BT Sports, comfy furniture, fully equipped kitchen and fabulous shower. On arrival you'll receive our 'welcome pack' with our own tips and helpful contacts that we've accrued during our own stays, and a few essentials to help you settle in. We can also help with car hire or airport transfers should you require. This is 'our place', we love it, & we'd like to share it with you!

The apartment sleeps 2 spaciously, 4 comfortably, or more people possible (please note our small extra charge for more than 2 people, or contact us for more info).

Now in our 15th year as owners, we reinvest regularly to keep the apartment a real home from home for both us and our guests, a quarter of which have now become regulars! Thoughtful features include totally private wifi (so no sharing with neighbours and capable of coping with many devices at once), blackout curtains for great sleeps, and huge windows & patio doors for letting the sun in afterwards!

Comfy beds can be made up as double or twin singles as required, and there is a sofa bed & large corner sofa in the living area. Refurbed bathroom with spacious corner shower cabinet and separate bath with shower attachment. Modernised fully equipped kitchen with all home comforts including full-sized washing machine, microwave, fridge, hob, toaster etc, and well-stocked crockery & glass cabinet, so you won't have to wash up every 5 minutes!

Spacious living area with dining table & chairs, plus lounge area with large corner sofa & sofa bed, coffee table & TV. Hi-fi with CD, mp3 compatibility & radio.

Large airy balcony with table, chairs and patio doors to both bedroom and lounge.

For your comfort whatever time of year, movable heaters and fans are provided. Wifi internet available for use with guests' laptop/smartphones etc at no extra cost.

We also hold the Alojamento Local Portuguese Property License which all holiday rental properties are required to hold, but not all do! Booking with an official license holder means you can be sure of a continued great standard of accommodation and cleanliness, so it's a good idea to always check the property you're booking holds one.

Old Town Square less than 5 minutes' walk away. Montechoro Strip 5 minute cab or scenic train ride. The Marina area with its beach, restaurant and bars also 5 mins cab ride. All cabs between the 3 points are around 4 euros.

Supermarkets, shopping centre, restaurants and bars all within a short walk. Range of cuisines catered for in the Old Town and Montechoro Strip, all within 5 minutes reach.

Talk to us about discounts for winter or longer term lets.....perfect base for exploring the Algarve with parking just outside for your hire car or a short walk to the main bus depot...wifi to keep you in touch with home...short stroll to year round supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars...stretch out by the pool - you'll probably have it to yourself in the off peak season...well equipped kitchen so you can invite friends over for dinner in the spacious dining area, and the full-sized washing machine is a must...snuggly duvets, piles of blankets and heating to keep you toasty when the sun goes down....enjoy the warm afternoon sun streaming into the comfy lounge and a cosy night in with our LED tv, or help yourself to a good book...lazy mornings with freshly squeezed juice or an alfresco pot of coffee on the balcony....and of course we'll keep the apartment cleaned and your linen & towels refreshed.

Complex with well established plantings and gardens. Nice shared pool and terrace area with snack bar and fantastic sea views. Please note not all the facilities eg. pool snack bar are open all year - please check if visiting out of season and this is important to you.

The complex has a few steps, so may not be suitable for less mobile guests.

Balcony is only one storey from pool and garden height, and balcony sides are hip height to an adult.

We are non-smokers, and would ask that guests also respect this inside the apartment.

Lovely apartment in a quiet secure area.

This is a very good apartment and has everything you could need to make it home from home. The complex feels very safe and secure with gated entrance. The pool area is very good and very quiet no problems getting a sun bed in fact some afternoons it was just like having our own private pool. There is a supermarket 5 minute walk from the apartment and the escalators to Albufeira old town are just a little further down the road ( less than a ten minute walk). Look out for the little pub called Beer time you will pass it on your way to the escalators lovely people very clean and good prices we called in most nights on our ay from the old town.

All in all if you are looking for a nice apartment with good location to the old town yet in a nice , quiet location this is the one. Mandy the owner is very helpful and never failed to answer any questions she also arranged our transfers which were very reasonable .

Lovely apartment with stunning view of old town

Lovely homely apartment with stunning views of old town, we appreciated all the little extras like washing machine/toastie maker etc. It was only 5 mins walk from the escalator, and less hilly than anywhere we had stayed previously. The teenage girls loved the pool and we could always get a sun lounger. Communication with Mandy the owner was excellent, always responded promptly and very helpful, allowing us early booking in time and late check out time - Thank You. Highly recommend. HOME FROM HOME APARTMENT

On first arriving at the apartment you are firstly hit by the lovely views ,apartment is everything you could wish for and more, beautiful kitchen fully equipped and shower is amazing, only a short walk to all the treasures the old town has to offer, We had a brilliant tie and will certainly be going back I will be sharing our experience with friends and family, big thank you to Lynn who was a great help to us and Mandy thank you again for sharing your lovely apartment with us. Great apt

fab apt in a great position with large balcony, super views of the old town. Kitchen is very well equipped for eating in. Never heard any noise at night. 5mins walk too the top of escalators for the old town. Good pool with plenty of sunbeds. Prices at pool bar very good. Great for couples and families. Fantastic!

It's been over a year ago, but still our vacation to Albufeira is fresh in our memory. With great thanks to this great appartment in old town Albufeira!

The contact with the owners went fluently and they are very reliable. They send us extra pictures, a video, information an handy tips. No problems with payment, and they even accepted us, even though we were students and they never did that before.

The appartment was exactly what we expected it to be from the ads and the pictures, and more! We had great times on the balcony with great views over Old Albufeira by night, and all that for a great price.

Strolling down to the beach/centre of Albufeira is just 5 minutes by foot. The walk to the new part (the Strip) of Albufeira was a good 15 minutes. But the cabs were cheap and walking back over the beach was always great!

TV with DVD player, sleeping couch (which slept actually better than the beds in the actual bedroom!), renovated bathroom with great shower, swimming pool, couch, diner table, balcony... Everything what you wished for.

The only downside was the electricity. It went down about 2 or 3 times during our stay. Although after a call or two it was fixed quick, but annoying if it happens several times. Afterwards, it seemed that there were other residents in the aparthotel that rudely exceeded their power-limit.

In summary: friendly and reliable owners, GREAT location, all facilities are present, good price, beach and Old Town at 5min walking distance and also the Strip is fine to reach from here. Thanks Mandy&Beccy!! greetings from the 4dutch guys :)

The apartment is perfectly situated overlooking the Old Town area, so while it benefits from being away from the over-populated 'touristy' areas, it's still just a couple of minutes walk from the Old Town Square & its famous huge selection of bars & restaurants, and the same to the beautiful Fisherman's Beach. For nightlife-seekers the famous Montechoro 'Strip' is a few Euros cab ride away, and at the other end of the scale, many of the area's famous golf courses are also easily reachable by car, bus or cab. Many family attractions are within a short drive or bus journey, including Aquapark and Slide & Splash. There's something for everyone, from varied watersports to quiet walks.
