Four Night Stay
This is one of the best equipped apartments we have ever rented. Basic kitchen supplies such as coffee, tea, spices and cooking oil was all provided as was ample toilet paper and washing soap for both dishes and laundry. All bedding and towels were also available. Location is ideal for exploring the City Centre and is right beside the main pedestrian shopping area. Lots to see and do within walking distance of the apartment. Can get a bit noisy with the recycling trucks picking up at odd hours. The couch is not as comfortable as it looks in the pictures. But these two comments should not deter anyone from staying at this ideally located apartment.
The flat was wonderful and had everything we needed for our stay. The location couldn’t have been better with the only down side being the noise but to be honest, it didn’t really bother us..no problems sleeping at all! Ronnie was quick to respond to any request that I had so all in all, great stay and would definitely recommend to family and friends!!
Wonderful stay in Glasgow
We enjoyed the apartment, and the location in Glasgow. We ran into traffic/parade driving over from Edinburgh, so almost didn't make it in time to pick up the key at the office, so make sure you have a back up plan. We enjoyed the location, and walked all over Glasgow
The Library Apartment was perfect. It was well stocked with everything we needed, super clean and comfortable, in a very convenient location, and was a wonderful home away from home. Looking forward to my next trip to Scotland and hoping to stay here again!
Family of 2 adults and 2 children
1) Location is convenient for exploring Glasgow
2) Owner has really good handout on everything in the apartment
3) Spacious and well laid out
4) No noise from other tenants
5) Kitchen is well stocked
6) Wifi works well
7) Convenient access to keys to enter apartment
2 things to note:
1) The street noise/people going to and from the bars is quite loud. There were many times between 10:30 pm - 1:30 am that I could have sworn people were conversing right next to the bed where we were sleeping. There were ear plugs in the nightstands for us.
2) The shower water pressure was very low.
Thank you for your review. I am pleased that overall you enjoyed your stay.
The apartment is very central so some noise is unavoidable. Indeed that is why we supply the ear plugs in case you are a light sleeper.
This was a delightful flat with very tasteful decor. The bonus is it’s location- close to everything! Close to both train stations, shops, restaurants, pretty much anything you need. We actually met Ronnie and his wife as they handed the keys over, and they were great. Would definitely stay here again!
The location for the Library Apartment is second to none. It really is Glasgow city centre. You couldnt be better located which makes it very convenient to sample all that Glasgow has to offer. lt is also in the heart of the Merchant City with its cutting edge theatres, galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants . The exact location is Miller St- very close to all transport such as subway (metro) stations, train stations and buses. A car is not required but if you bring one parking is available close by. The main square, George Square is only yards away. Glasgow's famous shopping streets are literally on your doorstep and art galleries such as The Gallery of Modern art are less than a block away. The SECC exhibition centre is minutes away and also the Glasgow Art Gallery & Museum -home to Salvador Dali's famous painting of Christ. The location is quiet and has restaurants and bars and traditional pubs on the doorstep. It is only 1 hour away to Loch Lomond and to the Trossachs
Other Activities: Theatres, restaurants, shopping, supermarkets, museums - everything you could possibly want is nearby!
