We booked this property for a long weekend and were thrilled with it. We stayed as a family including teenagers, grandparents and we all had a brilliant stay. The property is very clean, well decorated and in a very peaceful location. Set on the marina you have the best of both worlds, the beautiful marina outside and just a short ferry ride or car journey takes you into the busier centre if thats what you enjoy. The kitchen was well equiped and there was plenty of parking space. The owner was extremly helpful from the initial enquiry to our arrival and I would definately recommend this property to anyone. Thank you again Simon, we really had a lovely stay in your house and we will be booking again.
A very well-equipped modern home with great vantage point over the marina. Close enough by short ferry ride to city attractions without the noise! Good too for coast walking from the front door. For local eating out recommend the Tuesday specials at the Boringdon, Turnchapel or the Bridge next door for a treat.
Mountbatten is a small peninsular on the edge of the city of Plymouth,surrounded by Plymouth harbor and the river plym. There is a beach at the end of the street,and several other beaches some within walking distance. The street the house is on, is private and quiet. However there is 4 pub/restaurants in the area. Should you need more excitement,take the foot ferry ,about 400metres away to Plymouth (£1.50)where there are lots of shops. Eat in dozens of restaurant and see all the attractions a large city has to offer. Bars clubs etc. if its relaxation and the country life you seek,go in the other direction and you will find horse ridding,golf swimming and all the pursuits you would expect.
Other Activities: extensive shopping, restaurants, bars, clubs etc.
|Fees||No additional mandatory fees|
I also ask for a breakages deposit of £150, which is of course refunded once you have left the property.
