Villa M is a 1 bedroom apartment in the White Sands Beach Apartments. This apartment building is located on the beach at the St Lawrence Gap, which is one of the most popular resorts in Barbados. Villa M is a one bedroom apartment on the second floor and has a west facing aspect from which to enjoy golden sunsets. This apartment is finished to a high standard, utilising cedar windows and doors and ceramic floor tiles throughout. The accommodation comprises bedroom, en-suite bathroom, further shower room and wc, fully fitted quality kitchen, sitting room and dining terrace. All furnished to a high standard with, mostly, period furniture brought from England by the owners. The dining Terrance features modern resin/rattan furniture, especially imported from the manufactures in India. This comprises dining table and four chairs and two luxury loungers.

  • The en suite bathroom is joined to the main bedroom via a small dressing room. The second shower room is for guests and is off the entrance hall. This shower room comprises a WC, wash basin and power shower.

Notes:
The dining terrace, which is 20 x 10 feet comprises dining table and four chairs, sideboard which is equipped with place settings and serving bowls and also there are also two comfortable loungers and a drinks table. This is a west facing terrace and you can sit on the loungers and enjoy afternoon sunshine and the sunset over the sea.

Amazing in every way!

My daughter and I recently stayed in Vanessa and Alan's AMAZING condo. We go to Barbados every year and this is the first time we have stayed near St. Lawrence Gap. I wish we had sooner! We had to book last minute and everything went off without a hitch. Vanessa and Alan hooked us up with the Gabriele and Cyrus the property managers and everything fell into place. We were met on arrive at the building by Cyrus and were taken to our Villa and shown around and how to use all the appliance, etc

The listing and the pictures for this condo were very accurate. The unit was in immaculate condition and very nicely decorated and well appointed with homewares/crockery/bed linens and towels. The quality of all the items were excellent. The entire condo property is well maintained with very attractive trees, plants and flowers. A security guard monitored the premises. The pool area is lovely and the small well shaded beach with palm trees was like paradise. We arranged with the grounds maintenance/keeper chap to have our beach loungers brought out to the beach every morning and put away at the end of the day. He was extremely reliable and friendly, the chairs were out on the beach nice and early to accommodate 2 early birds.

The location of the building is great. We were in walking distance to many wonderful eateries (both casual and formal). The locals at Scoupy's Jazz bar were were friendly/informative and great Bajan fish cakes . There was a well stocked convenience store very close by also. We have absolutely no complaints about this villa, building or the owners/staff. We received excellent customer service all around.

I would recommend this unit to to all my family and friends (and strangers for that matter). I look forward to a future stay at Vanessa and Alan's villa.

We know we all try to be and, usually, it works. Many guests book ahead nine to twelve months but this was a bit last minute. Great to see that we can all move quickly when needs must and we are delighted that these two guests had such an enjoyable time. Please come back!

Perfect!

Although we are regular visitors to Barbados, this was the first time we have chosen to stay in a condo rather than a hotel.

The booking process was easy. Vanessa and Alan were extremely helpful and we were fortunate enough to meet them in person as they were on the island at the same time as we were.

The apartment lacks for nothing. Our hosts had thought of everything ... from kitchen roll to Scrabble and everything in between. There is plenty of high quality bedlinen, towels (including those for the beach) and kitchen equipment.

There is a super little beach immediately in front of the building. Parasols are not needed as there is sufficient shade from palm trees.

The property is discreetly managed by Gaby and Cyrus. All the staff who service the condos were efficient and delightful. We would single out Reena who cleaned our apartment and Paul, the handyman/gardener for special mention.

We are looking forward to returning next year.

Owner's Response: We rarely meet our guests as bookings are made online and we are not resident in Barbados. However we were able to meet up with David and Ilush at the local bar (Tyrone's) and we had a lovely couple of hours together. We are delighted that they enjoyed their stay at White Sands and wish to return in 2018.

Great location- everything within walking distance

We loved this place and it's location. Many fine and casual restaurants within walking distance. We were please to find nightly entertainment (Scoopies) a short stroll away. During our one week stay we only rented a car for 2 days which was perfect.

Since our visit included the Christmas holidays we gave Alan and Vanessa a list of breakfast items we wished to have stocked in the fridge. We were pleased to see all the items stocked which help make our Christmas breakfast wonderful. Our friends rented another one bedroom unit within the White Sands Beach Resort that was also lovely but we truly preferred our balcony which had a very comfortable table and chairs, perfect for breakfast or cocktails with our friends.

The owners, Alan and Vanessa were great and always quickly responded to any questions we might have. Once we made our deposit they sent a very thorough printout of information on the island that included many restaurants and activities to enjoy. We used their references many times throughout our stay.

The queen sized bed was very comfortable. Towels and bed linens were generous and high quality.

The unit also had a safe which was very handy for storing our valuables.

When we arrived Christmas Eve we were met by Cyrus (always available condo manager) who was also hosting a Christmas celebration for the guests. It was a perfect way to begin our vacation:)

Absolutely Fantastic Villa that has everything

We can't compliment you enough on your lovely Villa It was absolutely perfect from the beautiful location right down to having everything ( even a flask ) in the villa It truly made our holiday staying there. We saw lots of baby turtles hatching most nights also the mum coming on the beach to lay her eggs right by Tyrones Bar was amazing !! Still feeling a bit tired after the travelling but we had a lovely chill out time there. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful villa it's everything you say if not more. Will be recommending to everyone who will listen

Peaceful bit of paradise in The Gap

Having normally just holidayed on the west coast of Barbados in the past,we decided to spend 5 days at the Gap as well this time and chose to stay at Alan and Vanessas villa. I can only say that this villa is everything described and more! As it is the owners second home you will want for nothing there as it is superbly equipped for every need. It is clean comfortable and very peaceful. We had friends over for the day whilst there so the second bathroom was a big plus and so were all the piles of extra towels and beach towels! The input and info from the owners from the first enquiry onwards was first class. Also a big plus for us was that the villa is superbly managed by an onsite manager and security there was second to none! The Gap being so different from the west coast it was nice to get back to a peaceful location but still only have a 15min walk back to the villa. After having eaten at The Lone Star and The Beach House etc. we can honestly say the food was far better in The Gap - Harlequin and Pisces being top notch! If you book this villa you will not have a worry in the world and will be so spoilt-it is just there to be enjoyed. Our very grateful thanks to Alan and Vanessa for letting us stay there.

Paradise!!

We stayed at Villa M - White Sands Beach Villas for our 10 day honeymoon in March 2012. Both the Villa and the surrounding areas were perfect and everything we could have wished for from our holiday accommodation.

The Villa itself was clean and tidy with top appliances and provided plenty of living space for us - it really was a home away from home! The surrounding areas of the underground car park, pool area/ gardens and the main lobby were also perfectly maintained and the staff on hand at WSB Villas were also extremely friendly and welcoming and helped us out with any enquiries throughout our stay.

The sandy beach at the front of the property was amazing and one of nicest looking beaches we found throughout the island. It was always very quiet and at low tide we were able to walk around to the busier Dover Beach with a host of water-sports on offer as well as bars and stalls.

Alan and Vanessa were a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. They were prompt to respond to our initial enquiries and got straight back to us to confirm any payments we made and provided us with a receipt. We were also given detailed information on their property and the local area including things to do and see on the island and recommendations on restaurants from previous guests. We found these most helpful they and enabled us to get the most out stay especially having never been to Barbados before.

Overall our stay at Villa M was amazing thanks to the information provided by Alan and Vanessa and their wonderful property. We would highly recommend this property and the local area of St Lawrence Gap.
