Peyia: Peyia (Pegeia): Peyia (Pegeia) Village, is one of the most attractive and friendly villages in south-west Cyprus. It enjoys the advantages of both a quiet rural location, and glorious views of the sparkling Mediterranean and the surrounding countryside. Pegeia is ideally located within Paphos and is a wonderful location to explore this fantastic region of Cyprus. The beautiful sandy beaches, the crystal blue sea and the peculiar rock formations are unique to the area. Local amenities and sports include cycling, tennis, horse riding, paragliding, go-karting, swimming and a variety of beach activities. Safaris run regularly to all parts of the island from here. Several family-run taverns and restaurants serve excellent fresh food at great value for money.
Coral Bay: Coral Bay: 11 kilometres (15 minutes drive) to the north of Paphos and 3 kilometres below the friendly, hillside village of Peyia is Coral Bay, the best natural beach in the area. This is an established resort with many villas set apart from one another above a wide curve of dark golden sand. The summer heat is often tempered by a gentle breeze, the sea has a shallow margin where children may play safely and, in the busier months, water sports on offer include pedaloes, water skiing, banana boats, wetbikes and windsurfing. Close by the Bay you will find four large hotels, banks, minimarkets for provisions and souvenirs, bars, restaurants and other shops. For casual alfresco meals, a couple of bars/snack bars overlooking the sea and a large restaurant in the next bay are open during the day. More tavernas and local shops are a short drive away. A perfect location for a casual seaside holiday with plenty to do. It is an ideal location for touring the area.

Paphos is most established holiday resort in Southern Cyprus and among its attractions are its ancient mosaic floors, historical sites, a beautiful old harbour, its modern hotels and restaurants, situated along the harbour front promenade. Other sights include an archaeological museum, the Byzantine castle of Paphos, the Tombs of the Kings, St. Paulas Pillar and the Temple of Aphrodite (the goddess of love and beauty). The climate of Cyprus makes the summer months a popular time for tourism in Paphos, when temperatures are mid 30s degrees Celsius every day. However the cooler winter months attract keen walkers, mountain biking enthusiasts and skiers to the Troodos Mountains and Akamas peninsular areas.

The apartment was just as described in the advertisement and was equipped to a very high standard. a perfect "get away from it all" location, BUT with everything Peyia and Paphos has to offer in easy reach.

Again, all immaculate on arrival, The apartment is privately owned, with quality fixtures and fittings, and everything needed to live comfortably. Satellite TV and DVD system provided.
It was close to the beach in Coral Bay and only a ten minute walk into the village which has numerous bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment and the pool area were very clean and tidy and were serviced on a regular basis. There was a barbecue, dining table and chairs and sunbeds up on the roof terrace which additionally had lovely views out to sea. If you wish to explore the island, the manager who lives on site can arrange quad bike tours or walking tours of the Akamas National Park, or he can arrange visits by boat to the Blue Lagoon which has crystal clear water, perfect for snorkelling. I cannot praise our holiday highly enough and would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and location for your holiday. We will definitely return soon.
Clean, tidy well maintained apartment with everything you need for your holiday. Quiet area with lovely views of the sea from the roof top terrace. Short walk into the village with a good selection or restaurants and bars which we found to be reasonably priced.We hired a car, which was cheaper than taxis from the airport and beneficial for exploring the area. Next door neighbour gave helpful advice and often checked that we was ok which we thought was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this apartment to others as it is brilliant value for money and we would like to return sometime in the future.

Good weather was a bonus but we greatly appreciated all the fixtures and fittings in his apartment. Masses of bath and hand towels ,extra pillows ,bedding and sheets.

The neighbour (whose identity I shall refrain from giving) is a great source of local knowledge, if you want recommendations for food / drink / shopping/ trips, he's the man.
Nice pool area, spotlessly clean, and a nice area to chill out. The appartment itself (as you can see) has two outside seating areas, a balcony ideal for taking breakfast or afternoon tea (great cake shop in the village) and a rooftop terrace with table, chairs (4) and 2 sun loungers. There is also a BBQ up there, if your feeling like eating al fresco.
In the village which is a walkable distance there are numerous bars / pubs / Tavernas catering for all tastes and pockets, a little guide in the apartment (or the neighbour's up to date reviews) will stop you going wrong. A car is desirable, if only to see the rest of the island, there are some lovely beaches and sights, a trip into the Troodos mountains for example drops the temparature by a few degrees, and it's like Switzerland up there !
I cannot recommend this property highly enough, do it, you won't be dissapointed.
We will be back, have an idea that Christmas and New year in the local tavernas could be interesting !
We stayed at the Apartment Lemba for 2 weeks this September and had a great time. The apartment is very comfortable, well equiped and located in a perfect area... not too far from the village and just in a quiet spot for relaxing if you normally live in a crowded city. The directions to the apartment were easy to follow and everything was very well organised for our arrival. The apartament suited perfectly our expectations and it is also a perfect solution for both wandering the area and enjoying the beaches. If we were to come back to Cyprus, we'll definitely would try to book it again.

I just had to write a review of my stay at this apartment which is something i have never done whilst staying in hotels . I was very surpised at how much more relaxed it is to be selfcatering , let alone the cost.
This apartment had everything we needed,a washing maching was a bonus , we will only need a very small bag on our return .
We had bbq s on the roof top terrace and stayed up there all night to watch the shooting stars , iv never seen so many.
Everything in the apartment was spotless and let me tell you i check matresses .
There is a nice beach five minutes drive away and so many beauty spots , a car is a must though .
The pool is crystal clear and was cleaned twice a week , i sat an read 2 books in the quite of our own little haven..... I will most defenatley be returning .
The apartment Lemba is ideally suited for all types of holiday, the beautiful Coral Bay is just a few minutes away and is without doubt is the best beach in the area. If you like lots of night life, the bars, clubs and restaurants in Paphos cater for all tastes. The town of Paphos has many fascinating historical sights and the harbour area has many bars and excellent restaurants. The old town boasts some excellent shops and a fascinating undercover market every day of the week, which is great for the bargain hunter. Peyia is a delightful traditional village in a gently elevated position over looking Coral Bay. The apartment with its swimming pool is located in the less built up area of the village and has views of the sea and mountains. Whist a car is recommended to enable you to fully explore the area the village is within 10 minutes walking distance. The airport is about 20 minutes drive while Paphos town centre and harbour is 10 minutes.
