About Jennifer Pulley
Over 10 years ago we starting building log cabins and discovered how much fun it was to have vacation rentals! We love to travel and vacation and know how much it means to feel safe and welcomed and have the owners go that extra step for us. We go back to certain places just because of the friends we've made at the rental! We want to offer that here. We had the opportunity to build a log cabin in our front yard (Jeff's Mom is sharing her space, Bonnie's City Cabin) and want to have a vacation rental that's the most unique place in town. Our other rentals are 2 hours north in Black River Falls area, but here we can provide unique features, my dream is to offer local food selections to have stocked when you arrive: chocolates, bakery, organic foods, wines and brews. We live right next door, so we are available to provide what ever is needed.
Jennifer Pulley purchased this Cabin in 2015
Why Jennifer Pulley chose Madison
Madison rocks! We think we have the best lot in the city of Madison. It's 1.5 acres, on tiny dead end private road, surrounded by Lakeview Woods and if you walk to the top of the hill behind our house you can see the capital. We have a herd of deer that meanders through our front yard each day, a pair of owls, an occasional fox, once or twice a turkey and we are only a 10-15 drive to downtown!
What makes this Cabin unique
When you walk into the City Cabin you'll feel like you just stepped into your cabin way up north. It's filled with fun stuff Jeff has collected from his customers, our families and our travels. As a plumber, Jeff had fun building the bathroom. The bathroom sink faucet is an old hand pump he had refinished, the shower is mix of 3 shower heads that surround and relax you. The in-floor radiant heat warms your toes and makes you want to cuddle up on the couch and relax after a long day of work or play.

Treasure in Madison
Impeccably maintained. Quiet yet close to any place you need to go to in the Madison area. Felt like I was in a cabin in the woods yet every modern convenience. Beautifully decorated. A treasure.
Well that sure made me smile! Thanks for coming to stay at our City Cabin and I sure hope you can come again!
Our awesome guests make it fun to do, thanks again, Jennifer & Jeff.
Convenient, comfortable, City Cabin
The cabin is certainly charming and well equipped. Convenient to a Good Will, great for anything you may have forgotten, a fresh market coop for wine and grocery shopping, deli for brats, dry cleaners and more!
Several farmer's markets in June and easy drive to downtown Madison campus. Our property manager introduced herself on arrival day and a welcoming amenity basket of goodies in the kitchen. Jennifer and her husband were on repairs or on call and very helpful. Hangers in the cabin were missing, but the cleaners helped us out with recycle
hangers, left for next guests :). Caution mosquitoes are large and hungry. Bring good repellent!!!!Overall a great stay!!!!!!!!
Well decorated cabin
We enjoyed the decor in the cabin, it appeared that they had taken quite a bit of care when selecting it! We did think it would be a bit more private than it was, but it was still better than a hotel room! The shower is pretty darn neat too!
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay. We did have a lot of fun with the décor and Jeff the Plumber will be happy to hear you enjoyed the shower (he had fun with all the shower heads and the hand pump sink faucet). Glad it worked out well and thanks again!
Lots of personal touches
So very clean & well cared for. We were last minute guests for one night because our schedule changed. Jennifer made it work. So so much better than checking into an overused hotel.
I wish I could have met you and said Hi! Thanks for coming and glad it worked out!
Awesome!! Very clean. Lots of character and loved the shower!!
So Happy we found this place. Would recommend it a hundred times. We had a nice and relaxing visit. Hope to be back real soon.
Cozy, homey, convenient!
Loved our stay at the City Cabin! Close to Madison and the activities at the square but yet not part of the crowd and congestion. All the comforts of home. Jennifer was great with providing any info we wanted about the area. Very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
Madison is a hub for many activities. From the action of the UW's sporting and educational events, to international conferences and competition's, booming business and trade shows, local arts, music and fabulous foods
