This seafront apartment is situated on the second floor of one of Largs' historic, landmark buildings. Sandringham Court commands a unique central location that combines stunning views across the Firth of Clyde with ease of access to all local facilities.
The flat has been lovingly restored to enhance and maintain the original charm of the building, while ensuring that all conveniences of modern living are completely catered for.
The apartment has a large lounge with bay window and feature fireplace (double sofa bed), 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped, modern kitchen with adjoining dining area, luxury bathroom with walk in shower. The flat is light and spacious.
All rooms are fully furnished. The apartment is ideal for two wanting to enjoy comfortable, quiet living at the sea, after a day enjoying Scotland.
Very comfortable and clean apartment with excellent facilities. Supermarket, the town, ferry terminal and railway station within a short distance so very convenient if you travel up by train as we did. View over the sea from the front so climbing the stairs to the second floor was well worth it. The local people are very friendly.
I would certainly recommend this apartment.
The flat is absoultely fantastic. All you need is there, even books, table games and toys for the little ones. It really was like being at home. The kitchen is fully equipped and it also has a nice view of mountains that looked gorgeous during the sunset.
You will wake up and go to bed with an amazing view of the sea and Great Cumbrae no matter if it's raining or with clear skies.
The location is also very convenient to take the ferry to Great Cumbrae or to the Isle of Arran or several country parks or historic places. Restaurants and supermarkets are also at a stone's throw.
I strongly recommend the flat without any hesitation.
The apartment has everything you need. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Beautiful bed linens and a very comfortable bed. Close to Ferries, Trains & Bus! All within a 3 to 5 minute walk. Lots of very good restaurants and pubs close-by also. The owner provided me with excellent customer service. This was my 2nd stay there and I know I will stay here again when I next return to Scotland. I would certainly give this apartment high recommendations!
Popped over to Largs for a visit to get out of the city for a few nights and this place did not disappoint. Both Finlay (owner) and Marion (who met us with the keys) are very friendly and were happy to help us out. The flat is gorgeous, comfortable, has all the amenities you could need, and has a great view as advertised. It's a short walk from town and from the local train station so you couldn't be better situated. Definitely recommended.
We arrived really late due to bad weather travelling up...so apologies to the lovely key holder for venturing out so late on a horrible night out!!!
...The flat was perfect, in an amazing building and well stocked with all the essentials for that settling in cup of tea...even had a dryer to help us cope with all the wet weather!
...so friendly when booking, this was reasonably last minute!...
....Great value, so central and it gave us a great base for a wedding and nipping over to the islands...I certainly recommend staying here!
Friendly email contact with Finlay, and a kind lady called Marion showed us in. The apartment is very clean, and provides everything you need, and more. The kitchen is well equipped. Waste is recycled.
The view on Cumbrae is great!
We liked the extra luxury of Wi-Fi, satellite channels, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Beds were good.
We went shopping at Morrisons every day for groceries.
Did some nice walks to Greeto Falls and the Knock and along the coast to Fairlie.
In the evening we went out for an ice-cream and strolled along the water.
We highly recommend this apartment.
