Comfortable and Inviting Home

Our stay was great. The house was easy to find conveniently located for a trip to visit our Navy man and beach. House was exactly as described and was true to pictures. Check in was smooth and easy thanks to the simple directions and key box. We found the house had everything we needed. Keuring for groggy mornings, simple pantry items, ice maker and nicely stocked kitchen. Also, we had plenty of towels, extra sheets and pillow available. Our girls loved coming back for a nice bubble bath in the garden tub after a long day. We found some great restaurants nearby including the Taproom down the road that featured live music. Also, the drive down to Sullivan's Island/ Isle of Palm was only 30 minutes (about half the drive time to Folley with the Summer Traffic). Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book for future trips.

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Mindy's airbnb home. Spacious, clean, three bedrooms, with plenty of bathrooms to go around. It was an ideal location, too, for all the activities we did. Roughly about 25 minutes from them all: city, plantations, beach.

The only down-side was that the WIFI did not work properly.

But we would definitely stay there again!

Great layout. Good location. Needs updates and repairs.

We're locals who needed a rental to support our family from up north. We decided on this house due to the location and price for the area. Layout of the house was great. Ample bathrooms and large bedrooms. Living room had cozy seating and decent space. Owner was super accommodating and easy to work with. We gave 3 stars because of the issues we encountered in the home. Original check in time was 4:00 PM so we were pleasantly surprised when we were told the house was ready at 2:30 PM. Accessing the house and the key was easy, but when we opened the front door we were hit with a wall of heat. Entering a house in the dead of summer and seeing the thermostat read 80 degrees was not fun. Especially when you have to lug groceries and luggage in and out. After dropping the temp and pushing through the sweat the temp did drop after a couple hours. The door to the garage would only lock at the handle, not the dead bolt and that was only after putting your weight on the door. A good push from in the garage could have easily made it open again. The bedroom on the right at the top of the stairs had a huge water spot on the ceiling from a past leak and the bathroom in the downstairs master had the same thing only smaller. Both stains were eyesores and definitely took away from the cleanliness of the rooms. The same room on the right at the top of the stairs did not have a ceiling light. The only fixture was a two headed lamp that was taped to keep one of the heads in place. The white sheets in the master and upstairs left bedroom were stained. The towels appeared to be from a hotel supply store and a few had hairs from past renters still on/in them. The kitchen had ample plates, cups and silverware, but lacked cookware. We had to cook in batches. Overall, this house did the job, but I would suggest fixing some of the above issues to help with the appearance and comfort for future guests.

Convenient, clean, and quiet!

Stayed here with some co-workers while attending a conference in North Charleston. The house was conveniently located in a very quiet neighborhood not too far off the high way. Access to the convention center was only about a 10 minute drive. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed - except we couldn't find a hair dryer!
