The views from our unit are truly breathtaking. It is like getting upgraded to oceanfront at a fancy hotel. There is no way to fully capture in photographs the sweeping unobstructed views of the gulf and beach from our lanai. We've even furnished the lania with high top bistro tables and chairs so there is no looking through the railing as you sip your coffee and eat your meals. We've rented before and we stay here a lot so we know what guests want. There is no cutting corners. Our condo is stocked with every extra and amenity you can think of for your comfort and pleasure, as well as ours. Go ahead and compare. We've already hosted three couples on their honeymoon as a result of our premium views and features.

We spared no expense on comfy beds and couches for lounging, 65 inch flat screen HDTV and Blue ray DVD player in the living room, flat panel TV's in the bedrooms, Hunter Douglas room darkening drapes in the bedrooms, FIOS, WiFi, Bluetooth stereo speakers in the living room you can connect to, Keurig and Cuisinart drip coffee makers, blender, crock pot, toaster, microwave, every cooking utensil you can think of, multiple coolers, beach chairs, four wheeled beach cart, fold out beach table, plush bath towels, plenty of beach towels, binoculars, wine glasses and even a grapefruit knife and more.

If you are not familiar with South Seas Club it is a private gated community. The club gives you a private 55 acre luxury beachfront experience at less than half of what you would pay at 5 star hotels on Marco Island, plus: recreational activities which these hotels don't have, direct access to both beaches and the large nature preserve alongside Tigertail beach, which has some of the best sea shelling and birding in southwest Florida. There is an exercise room downstairs, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, boccie, shuffleboard, boat slips for rent and a putting green.

Our unit is unique in that there is no looking out at parking lots and no looking past other buildings or through the trees - all you'll see are panoramic beach and gulf views from up high. We're directly in front of Crescent and Tigertail Beaches, where they meet and the beginning of the Tigertail Nature Preserve.

We have one of the few units where our lanai (balcony) is shaded until late afternoon so you can sit back and enjoy your breakfast, lunch or a good book in the shade and cool breeze on the 17th floor as you look out to the beach, gulf and nature preserve.

FOR TODDLERS/BABIES: We will install protective mesh screen on the lanai railing for your peace of mind while relaxing out there. There is also a pack and play and a high chair for your use.

At South Seas Club on arrival you'll drive through our security gate to an expansive resort with palm trees, manicured lawns and gardens. Park in our covered garage and enter our tower. You'll have direct beach access with a key through our private locked gate to the beach or you can head right down to our heated pool. It is not uncommon to see dolphins swimming by the shore especially in the morning. The beach by the shore also offers a great place to take a fitness walk in the morning to work off the prior day's indulgences. On the way back from the beach there are convenient stations as you come off the sand to rinse the sand off and wash off any sea shells you have collected.

The laundry room is conveniently located two doors from our condo unit. There are two large dryers and washers which are operated by refillable cards at a modest cost, about $3.00 to wash and dry per load. Given the close proximity, we simply return to our condo and return when the washer or dryer are finished. There is a trash chute conveniently located in the laundry room.

Just a short three block walk are two of the best breakfast places Marco Island has to offer, as well as Joey's and Sami's which have a great indoor/outdoor bars and pizza/pasta restaurants, bagel store and convenience store. The Esplanade restaurants, shops, marina and boardwalk is within a mile walk as are multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and souvenir/swimwear shops. The Esplanade offers complimentary valet parking as do many of the restaurants on Marco Island.

You can rent a pontoon boat from nearby Rose Marina and view the coastal waterway and see the dolphins or enjoy a few hours fishing. You can explore the Florida Everglades or take a speed boat to the Florida Keys. During the afternoon or evening you can go for drinks, lunch or dinner at beautiful, prestigious Naples which is 20 minutes away. Of course, a round of Golf is just minutes away at scenic award winning courses. A 2 hour drive to Miami to visit South Beach may be something you choose or you can make a shorter trip to other beautiful areas in south west Florida. There are a variety of seafood restaurants and other magnificent eateries on Marco Island and the entire region. Make this your vacation choice at anytime of year because the weather is always warm and wonderful.

Steve and Kim were married in 2014 and honeymooned in the Amalfi Coast and Tuscany. We are fun loving 50-somethings who enjoy the beach, good food (especially seafood and Italian, which there is no shortage of in Marco Island), good conversation, live music, dancing, fishing, boating and Scrabble. We love walking the beach in Marco Island (Steve wonders does Kim have to stop and inspect every sea shell)? We work hard and find Marco Island the perfect respite to recharge.

Why Steve and Kim Ballin chose Marco Island

We wanted to find a safe laid back beach area with a Caribbean island feel, to escape the New England winters, and wanted to stay in the continental U.S. We heard about Marco Island and made the trip. We were sold soon after coming over the bridge: the palm trees, people strolling and biking, and that beach! Everyone we've met have been so friendly and welcoming. Once we saw the sugary sand beach and the 17th floor view from the condo we found paradise. During our visit we saw a dozen other condo units and none compared to the luxury tropical resort feel of South Seas Club and the view from the 17th floor. South Seas Club is a very large gated community. There is no traffic and plenty of walkways to and from the beach, around the pools, to the tennis and pickle ball courts and to Clam Bay where the boat slips are located. They even supply a station to wash off when coming off the beach and a station to wash the sea shells collected on the beach on the way back to the condo. On the last day of our first visit we saw dolphins swimming 10 yards off the shore, what a thrill.

An hour sitting on our balcony gazing at the gulf and the beach is like 6 months of therapy. It is no wonder Marco Island is one of the top rated islands in the U.S. and the World.

What makes this condo unique

The private security gate to South Seas Club community of buildings and manicured grounds immediately communicates you have arrived at an exclusive location. Until you have seen it, it is impossible to describe or photograph the incredible panoramic views of the gulf, beach, horizon, and sunsets from our condo. The long balcony has great furniture to sit and take in the views. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee, sit and read or just gaze around. All of the residents are so respectful of each other. You can hear from the balcony, the water lapping the shore. In the morning from the master bedroom you can just gaze at the gulf and beach right from the bed. This is truly a peaceful and pristine location to get away from it all and enjoy, the beach, sun and sand.

Really nice condo with amazing view and great location.

Condo was very clean upon arrival. The property manager was easy to reach. There were no problems at all. We had a couple days of rain but there was still plenty to do with nearby restaurants and shopping. We took one day trip to Key West, an airboat ride in Everglades City, and a dolphin and shelling excursion from Marco Island through Dolphin Explorer. We also had plenty of beach and pool time. I highly recommend this condo for its cleanliness, great service from the owners, and great location. We hope to make another trip in the future.

Exccellent as usual !!!

It was our third stays in the beautiful condo of Steve and Kim. As usual the condo is always clean and very well equipped (the beach cart is a blessing !!!). The owner is very responsive to help resolve any problems we may have with the unit. Steve has also been receptive to several of my recommendations to improve the condo over the years (the last one the superb sound system ...)

We will certainly return .... And I would recommend to anyone who wish to visit the beautiful, chic and calm Marco Island.

Great family vacation condo

We loved our time in this condo and on Marco Island. It was our first trip to the island and the island and the condo didn't disappoint. The 2 bedrooms were perfect for our family of 3, and we appreciated the pack 'n play and highchair that were in the condo (rather than having to rent from a service). The view was nice and the size of the balcony was great. Steve, the condo owner, was extremely responsive and helpful. The only "con" to the condo was the length of time it actually takes to walk to the water's edge-- we knew when we booked the condo it would take awhile to walk to the water, and for many people this probably wouldn't be an issue, it just takes awhile with a beach cart AND a toddler. For this reason we spent nearly everyday at the pool instead of the beach-- pool is large and fun mix of people (from tots like ours to retirees). We didn't mind spending days at the pool instead of the beach, though. The condo itself was clean and updated and in great condition. Definitely recommend and would like to stay here again.

My son has found the hard packed sand down to the beach has been great to roll the baby's stroller down to the water's edge along with the cart. Not sure if you had a stroller with you. Marco Island has so many incredible and diverse restaurants and vibrant tiki-bar type restaurants on the water to visit. The area is so safe that many people just spend endless hours day or night strolling the beach or streets of Marco Island. Marco Island is located twenty minutes from downtown Naples. Naples has miles of sand beach, historic architecture, and a vibrant downtown with great shopping, restaurants, live music and pubs.

Ask about our multi-week discounts. The condominium associations at South Seas Club has set high standards which show throughout the beautiful and pristine resort buildings, facilities and grounds. We are in Tower 3 at the South Seas Club. The association permits us to rent for seven days or more at a time up to three times per month. We prefer you check-in on a Saturday but will work with you depending our schedule. Please keep this in mind as you plan your booking and reservation at our condominium.

When a guest checks in there is a $25 parking/registration fee per vehicle collected by the association at the office in the lobby of our Tower 3. The parking permit issued is for the entire length of your stay and gets you through the security gate quickly. The 11% tax charged is for the 5% tourist tax charged by Collier County and the 6% tax charged by the state of Florida.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
