Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

The villa is fabulous with everything you could possibly need. Beautifully presented it truly feels like ‘home from home’. Everything is very clean and as a family with older children it was great to have en-suite bathrooms for two of the bedrooms. There is lots of space throughout and the kitchen has a good sized fridge / freezer along with oven, hob and microwave should you wish to eat at home. A good Wi-Fi connection kept our two teenagers happy along with Sky T.V. and the downstairs lounge room provided more in the way of an Xbox and a computer. Another big plus is the air conditioning in all the rooms which was much needed during our stay as the weather was very hot.

The villa is set in a quiet location with stunning views across the countryside and very private with a lovely pool which you can enjoy lit up in the evenings. The garden boasts both lemon and lime trees and beautiful flowering shrubs and bushes. There is also a barbecue area which even includes a stone pizza oven.

You can easily walk into Moraira from the villa (takes about 15 to 20 minutes downhill straight from the villa). You can get a taxi back up for around 6 euros. Moraira itself offers plenty of restaurants and bars and benefits from the absence of rowdy night clubs!! The beach at Moraira was more than adequate and catered for all the family.

We would highly recommend Casa Bonita for a family holiday and would return again.

Wonderful villa in a fantastic location.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Casa Bonita for 10 days and had a fantastic time. Nicola, the owner, is a lovely lady and extremely helpful. We felt totally confident booking directly with her.

The villa is huge with more than enough space for everyone to relax and the bedrooms are roomy with 2 having en suite shower rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and was spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the house. Downstairs there's a games room which opens directly onto the poolside and it has an Xbox, computer and TV as well as a bar area with a fridge, which was extremely handy. There are three outside seating areas and at night there are some lovely lights on the plants which were a lovely surprise when the sun set.

The pool is spacious and there are plenty of sun loungers and seats around it as well as a pool table and table tennis table which our kids made full use of. Steve, who looks after the house, came twice to clean and check the pool while we were there. He's a gem and gave us a ton of useful info about Moraira and the surrounding area. The garden is lovely with loads of trees and bushes and some gorgeous oleanders which were in full bloom when we were there. My kids loved the fact that they could see lemons on the tree from their bedroom and we enjoyed picking a few for lemon teas.

The house has a wall around it which gives loads of privacy. I definitely didn't feel self conscious about wandering around in a bikini all day! There are some impressive fir trees outside the house and the view from the naya is stunning. I could've sat there all day just watching it change and at night it's so pretty.

Moraira itself is a lovely town. It's not at all built up due to the strict planning rules in force and it feels less 'touristy' than a lot of places. The town is busy at night and the atmosphere is fantastic. There were loads of families there just enjoying the shops and eating dinner and we never once heard any rowdiness or drunken behaviour. It feels safe for kids. Speaking of eating out, there are so many restaurants, bars & cafes you'd have to stay for months just to visit them all. We visited the weekly market which is held on a Friday. There were a good selection of stalls selling leather goods, clothing, ceramics, gadgets and fresh local produce. The beach at Playa L' Ampolla is excellent with good facilities and very clean.

So glad we chose Casa Bonita. Highly recommended as is Moraira itself.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a wonderful review of our home. Many guests promise, yet fail to share their comments once they get back home. This is very disappointing as we continually work very very hard to ensure that all our guests have the best possible experience both before and during their stay, so again, thank you, this is very much appreciated. I am delighted that you all had such a great time and that you loved the villa. I may add, that you were perfect guests who treated our home with respect and are welcome back any time! Like you said, Moraira's appeal is that there are no high rise buildings or lager louts, so perfect for a family holiday. Thank you so much once again and hope to see you there again in the future.

A first class and well placed villa

  • 5 of 5

Casa Bonita is a well equipped villa and conveniently close the thriving resort of Moraira. The villa was clean and well presented when we arrived and Steve was very helpful in explaining where everything was in the villa and where we could find the supermarkets etc. It was reassuring to know that he or Sharon were available in case of any problems. The weather was extremely hot during our stay and the air conditioning was vital and most welcome. The pool was ideal with easy access at the shallow end for small children and our grandsons enjoyed it so much they preferred to play in the pool rather than go to the beach.

Everything we hoped for.

  • 5 of 5

Nicola was so easy to deal with when booking. Steve & Sharron were at the villa to welcome us and show us around. The property details given were accurate and everywhere was very clean and well prepared for our arrival. The location, only a few minutes by car to town, and the setting of the villa is very good, and privacy around the pool area is excellent. Breakfast under the naya with the view was so relaxing. The weather was brilliant and sun or shade can found all day. We had fun with the pool table and the dart board and we were pleased to get good television and wifi reception. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone.

HOME FROM HOME & MORE

  • 5 of 5

We spent 11 days at Casa Bonita and would recommend for a relaxing family holiday. Our party was made of four adults, a five year old and our Grandson of 7 months. The Villa had everything we needed with a full kitchen, three bedrooms (2 with en-suite), air con in each bedroom and in the lounge / kitchen. With a downstairs games room / lounge with its own bathroom and walk in shower and a door leading out directly to the pool, the layout was ideal for the odd game of darts and used a lot by the five year old to watch DVD's.

For our Grandson there was a travel cot provided already made up with bedding and there were 2 high chairs to choose from.

The pool area was well furnished with 6 new sun loungers, chairs and a covered shaded area with built in ceiling fan and a radio.

Out and about the town of Moraira is only a 20 min walk down hill & the taxi back was just 7 euro. We have stayed in Moraira on many occasions, usually just the two of us in various different apartments but this family Villa holiday was the best. Moraira has so much to offer with numerous shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets and two lovely sandy beaches to relax, it is well worth a visit if you have never been there and Casa Bonita is most definately a home from home & more.

Enjoy

Perfect for a relaxing family holiday!

  • 4 of 5

Having read so much about holiday rental scams we were initially reluctant to book any villa directly with an owner. We contacted Nicola through the website and she responded to all our queries and immediately put us at ease. It was very obvious from our initial conversations that this is a house that has been bought by a family who love the area and love spending time there.

My husband and I travelled with our two children (34 months and 5 months) and were joined by both sets of parents at different times. All of us enjoyed the villa and it's facilities. Both little ones enjoyed the things that mattered to them (cot, potty, high chair, baby linen and pool toys) and all of us grown ups enjoyed all the lovely outdoor space & eating and seating areas. We ate breakfast and lunch in the attractive outside seating area off the kitchen, enjoyed lots of socialising and shade under the gazebo by the pool and spent all our evenings sitting in the more formal dining area at the front of the house with views out over the hills.

The villa itself is spacious and is well laid out. The bedrooms, bathrooms and facilities are just as described on the website. We received great service from Steve (welcome, management of pool etc.) throughout our time there.

Previous guests have commented on the distance from the villa into the main town. Whilst my husband and I did walk to and from town on a couple of evenings (we enjoyed having Grandparents with us who were willing babysitters) it is not a trek we would have attempted with the little ones. We hired a car for the duration of our holiday and used it every day. There are some great places to explore and some lovely local beaches for sandcastle building, swimming and ice creams!

All in all this is a lovely, honest and enjoyable place to stay. It has all the right ingredients for a relaxing family holiday and we would recommend it.

Sitting on the Costa Blanca, the protected village of Moraira oozes charm and beauty. This small fishing village has a large array of bars, cafes and restaurants for any occasion. Situated 1 hours drive from Alicante, Moraira is in an abundance of local attractions. Take a drive down the winding costal roads to discover some of the hidden coves and beaches, or venture up into the mountains for a spectacular view. Moraira is also around an hours drive from Valencia which also offers a number of tourist attractions. Of course that’s not all, Moraira itself often plays host to traditional Spanish events throughout the year.
