About the property

3 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, Air.Con, Sat TV with free sky & BT sports & Free Wifi.

Comfortably furnished, three bedroom, three bathroom, fully air-conditioned, semi-detached villa with three private terraces with lovely views towards the Mar Menor providing excellent accommodation for a family, or six adults. The villa is accessed via a short, sloping path from the roadside parking, & is set in landscaped gardens close to one of the nine community pools, used only by adjacent villas. The villa comprises three floors. The entrance floor contains the living/dining area, kitchen & main terrace with BBQ, table & chairs. From here, stairs lead to the lower floor with master bedroom/en-suite & large twin bedded room/en-suite. Both bedrooms have French doors leading to a large, gated terrace with patio furniture. The gate leads to the on-street parking, directly outside the villa. In the under stairs recess there is new washing machine. The upper level, accessed by an external staircase, has a twin bedded room/en-suite with private terrace, built in BBQ & sun beds.

Beach towels,high chairs, cots and stair gates etc can be hired from our management company If any required please e mail for prices.

Check in time is 16.00 and checkout time is 10.30 am We may allow some flexibility with these times but prior approval is needed.

Family owned villa used every 2nd month but that is flexible according to enquiries. Please do not take calender as cast in stone, always better to enquire. Family try to come down as much as work commitments allow.

Why here? Enjoyed a great holiday here and decided to buy. The weather, the closeness of the pool, less than 2 mins walk from front door. The security, choice of cafe's, restaraunts and bars. the sports rights giving large discounts, where else can you play a €135.00 round of golf in places like La Manga for $35.00?? The maintenance. security and cleanliness of the resort has made me certain I have made the right choice.

What makes this villa unique

As above, weather, golf, tennis, bowls, security and all facilities a couple of any age or a young family can enjoy.

11 wonderful days. Beautiful villa in perfect location. As a couple on our own we had a fantastic break. Villa had all we needed, free wi fi, cable TV, phone, washing machine and all we needed for cooking. Bbq on the balcony was bliss. Food at local supermarket was reasonable but the big mercodona was less than half the price of uk. Swimming pool was only a two minute walk which was great for us. So many cafe's and bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Recommend a hire car at some point to be able to see cartagena and Pablo de calas. Pablo is a gem of a place with great places to eat. Al in all a great place which I would certainly return.

The open plan living area is on the middle (entrance) level of the villa, contains lounge and dining area with adjacent kitchen. Air conditioning unit, flat screen TV with satellite channels (UK + Sky Sports + foreign channels), DVD player (no DVDs available), telephone for internal calls within Club, bookcase with recent paperbacks. There is a extending square dining table and chairs. A high chair can be provided if required. There is a small sun terrace at the front door. The main terrace is accessed from sliding patio doors in the living room and also from the kitchen, this terrace has a built in BBQ and patio furniture. The roof terrace is outside the upper twin bedroom and has a built in BBQ and sun loungers. The lower extended terrace has shared access from both the master bedroom and the twin bedroom, and is equipped with patio furniture and a gate leading out to the on-street parking.

A beautiful, well appointed villa which was a pleasure to stay in!

We stayed at El Rancho 22 in August 2016 for 2 weeks with our 3 children.

We couldn't recommend it highly enough. It is beautifully decorated to a high standard, with lovely furniture and you can tell that real thought has gone into providing a comfortable place to spend your holiday.

There was everything that we needed in the kitchen (a first for us!) and the furniture and extra home accessories made it feel like a home away from home.

The extended sun terrace is such a great feature: loads of space, comfortable furniture and a great dining table meant that we spent a lot of our time relaxing out there.

We have been to La Manga for the last 3 years and can honestly say that this is the nicest villa that we have stayed in. Margaret was incredibly helpful throughout the whole booking process and made things so easy. There was also a helpful and detailed information pack giving the local attractions and amenities.

The ladies that came to change the bedding were also lovely and the villa was spotless when we arrived.

We almost don't want to tell everyone how fabulous El Rancho 22 is as we want to be able to book again!

The accomodation far exceeded our expectations. The decor and fittings are excellent and both the owners and the management company provided excellent service and were very quick to respond to any of our requests. Communication with the owners was excellent and the information provided ensured a wonderful stay. I would recommend this accomodation to couples and families. The facilities on the resort are great and the community pools are well maintained with two within a minute walk of the villa. We enjoyed lovely meals out and made use of the barbecue on the extensive balcony. If travelling with friends there are 3 terraces - allowing some private space if needed. If we return to La Manga in the future I would definitely want this villa. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stunning villa

Enjoyed a family break, husband, myself 4 year old, 9 month baby and my parents from end of may to beginning of June. Villa was immaculate with all essentials apart from a draining board to put dishes on (sorry but plates kept sliding on kitchen unit), surrounding area beautiful. Three levels great as parents had the upstairs to themself. Pool not too far from villa, there was 9 pools to choose from. It was very quiet so always got a bed.Car is essential to go to supermarket. Small supermarket in the square is very expensive but supermarket near tennis courts reasonable. There is a supermarket outwith El rancho which is much cheaper. Visited Si restaurant lovely food and family friendly, small park for kids and entertainment some nights. Really enjoyed our holiday but it was very quite and there wasnt enough entertainment for the children. We noted that it started to get more lively a couple of days before we left. The public pool opened up and the kids club opened so june july time better for kids. Margaret that owns the villa also very helpful and any problems we phoned her. Overall lovely stay would go back with friends but not with kids due to lack of entertainment. It is quite a well to do area and if u are looking to stay in a authentic spanish town, this is not the holiday for you.Would recommend to family friends.

We designed the worktop to include a grooved section as a draining board but installers missed out on that, however as the dishwasher is directly below then we thought it not required. Having said that, you obviously needed one so we certainly provide one. Thank you for looking after and appreciating the Villa and leaving it as you found it, much appreciated. Comfortable, well equipped villa

We stayed at the villa for 11 days in August 2010 with a toddler and a baby. The villa is very well set-up for a young family - a highchair, cot, and stairgate were provided ( a stairgate is essential in all the villas we saw in El Rancho, because of the steep tiled stairs leading directly off the lounge).

The bedroom layout was ideal for us, with the two main bedrooms next to each other. Bedroom 2 was enormous, with plenty of space for a cot next to 2 twin beds. Also, the en-suite to bedroom 2 was accessible from the hallway as well as via the bedroom, meaning that any guests could use the bathroom during the evening without disturbing the children, and without having to go through our bedroom,

We did not hire the top floor, but it would be ideal if we brought the grandparents along, as it is a self-contained floor accessed externally. Equally, it would be good for families with teenage children that want a bit more independence.

TV and broadband access were handy, as was the telephone, enabling us to make free calls to other villas within La Manga, and also to book restaurants, golf etc.

There is a good range of restaurants within the resort, many of which are very child-friendly, with children's menus and highchairs available.

The golf was excellent, although pricey, with stunning, challenging courses, well maintained and well run.

The villa's location suited us well, just a short walk from the pool, and about 5 mins walk from Bellaluz centre (where the shops and restaurants are)

The local beach is a 5 minute drive, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available, and lovely warm sea.

Communication with the owner was prompt and friendly.

All in all, a fabulous holiday in a lovely villa in a great resort.

Superb Location

We stayed at this villa in October 2009, half term week, 4 adults and 2 teenagers, the resort was fantastic, and the positioning of this villa was perfect. The nearest pool was at the correct distance for peace and quiet for the elder adults, but little more than a stones throw for the teenagers to walk (without a grumble) The resort was safe and secure enough to allow the teenagers freedom with very little parental concern, and the restaurants and bars excellent . I cannot praise the position of the villa within the resort enough. Simply Superb, we hope to return in 2010.

The La Manga Club resort is particularly famous for its excellent golf and tennis facilities. There are 3 high quality golf courses, all within a 10 minute drive. The South Course is used for major championships. The tennis centre is a 5 minute drive and has 28 courts, mainly clay, but also some hard and astroturf courts. Both the golf and tennis centres offer a high standard of professional tuition.

La Manga Club has a private beach cove at La Cala, a 5 minute drive, on the Med coast. There is a larger sandy beach at Calblanque, a 15 minute drive away, also on the Med coast, popular with the Spanish, but with no facilities. There is another sandy beach at Mar de Cristal, a 15 minute away, on the Mar Menor, a warm, shallow, inland sea, where there are water activities available, and a beach bar/cafe.

Also in La Manga Club are shops, bars, restaurants, squash, paddle tennis, pitch and putt, bowls green, spa, gym, sauna, and jacuzzi.

The nearest towns are Cartagena and Murcia.
