Airport Code: (GGT) Georgetown
If you are looking for peace & quiet on a secluded area of a small island with the most beautiful and serene view of clear blue & turquoise water within a 15-yard walk from the house with complete privacy... THIS IS IT!
No words or pictures can fully explain the awesome feeling and experience that you will have once you pull up to the driveway of this 2 bedroom, 2 bath home located on the very NW corner of this Exuma island. The QOH is literally the second to last home on the tip of the island.
QOH features it's own private beach directly in front of the house. It takes about 15 seconds to walk from the front porch until you can see your feet underneath the clear blue water in the pinkish sand. You have this to yourself. There is nobody else around to bother you.
QOH has a queen bedroom in the master bedroom with its own master bathroom. The second bedroom has a full-size bed and a twin bed with can sleep three people comfortably. The second bathroom is in the hallway beside the bedroom.
The kitchen has everything you will need to prepare a delicious dinner if you'd like.
It has all the amenities that most people have currently in their home. There is a water dispenser with multiple extra large 5 gallon containers for drinking purposes.
Outside there is a wrap-around porch where you can have breakfast or just relax on the comfortable chairs and listen to the sounds of the beach directly in front of you or watch some of the boats pass by.
There are plenty of restaurants available nearby. Exuma Point & Shoreline are two popular eateries that are practically within walking distance. A little further down are many other places to eat within a 10-15 minute drive. Most restaurants feature fresh food caught directly from the water and are delicious!
There is so much to do on this island while you are there!
One of the favorite attractions are the swimming pigs. One of the cays where these pigs live is literally a 5-minute boat ride across from the Queen Of Harts. Exuma is also home to some of the best snorkeling reefs. There are quite a few nearby the QOH. Many people like to rent a boat a go sight-seeing on their own. There is so much to see including the sunken plane, the Thunderball Grotto, blowholes, underwater caves and starfish. Other attractions to include feeding the iguanas, sting rays and nurse sharks. Jet-skiing, wind-surfing, kayaking are also available for fun.
There are also tours and excursions that will show you all of these attractions.
