Recently completed to a high standard, Villa Jamila is a beautiful place to spend a memorable holiday in the heart of the picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said with its white and blue typical houses overseeing the bay of Carthage. The village has been over centuries a harbour for international painters and writers from Paul Klee to André Gide.
With its 4 luxury suites (with en suite bathrooms) Villa Jamila is a charming place to spend a relaxing summer holiday. Its large pool and outdoor jacuzzi provides any time a welcome relief from Tunisian sunshine whilst hibiscus and jasmine add to the atmosphere.
The roof terrace, ideal for a happy hour drink, offers a unique panoramic view of the village illuminated by the golden shades of the Sun set. The oriental patio with its baroque fountain is a perfect place for romantic breaks. A fully fitted large kitchen,for self-catering.A large dining room, a double living room with fire place and bar , decorated with stylish furniture.
Golf and Tennis: We can arrange bookings for Gofl and Tennis courts ,15 minutes drive from the property.
Thalassotherapy and Hammam: We can arrange bookings for Thalassotherapy in the main centres of Gammarth, 15 minutes drive from the property. Hammam sessions are available at walking distance from the villa, in Rue Ali Belhouene.
Excursions and car hire: We can arrange for car hire and one or half day excursions (La Medina of Tunis, Le Bardo Museum, Ruines of Dougga, Hammamet, El Jem Colosseum, short cruise in the bay of Carthage and excursions in the south of Tunisia)

Sidi Bou Said is a picturesque village graded by the UNESCO as a protected patrimony of Humanity. On top of a hill overseeing the bay of Carthage, the village offers a range of houses built in a typical oriental and andalusian architecture and a souk with colourful gift shops, narguile cafés, several art galleries . Down the hill, you are rewarded by the inviting cafés and restaurants of the yachting port of Sidi Bou Said. Nearby, you can enjoy the famous Punic and Roman ruins of Carthage with its world unique mosaic collection, the various archaeological sites and museums, the Saint Louis cathedral and Carthage Anas Ibn Malek Mosque, new address for Islamic architecture.In the Baron d'Erlanger palace, Ennejma Azzahra museum offers ethnic music festivals. Jazz and symphonic festivals are organized in the Acropolium and the Roman theatre of Carthage along with other festivals throughout the year in Gammarth and La Marsa, famous residence of the last Beys of Tunisia.
