Great place for a bunch of people!
The decor was pretty outdated but very clean and very very comfortable. The patios were great, the beds were all very comfortable. Everyone that stayed there continued to comment on what a great find that house was. The property management was great. Friendly and easy to work with.
Lack off electricity sure changes things.........
I couldn't give a rating of 1 Star because Central Coast Getaways was very good to us. They helped make check-in very easy, we communicated many times prior to the trip and they were always helpful, and they found us a private boat slip which was great.
But I couldn't give the trip 5 Stars either because as luck would have it, the power lines underground blew up in 2 places. It took 2 days to find and fix the issue leaving us sweating at night, teenagers complaining, my wife very frustrated as she planned, purchased, and packed all the food for the full trip, and hundreds of dollars of that food had to be thrown away since the refrigerator didn't work. We drove a few times back and forth to the nearest grocery store 12 miles away for daily food and ice to preserve what we could. PG&E kept delaying their anticipated completion date which was very frustrating. The sewage pump (electric) caused us to use 2 out of the 4 bathrooms in the house and the water pressure got worse with every hour that past.
Finally our last 2 nights we had a/c but what an inconvenience.
The house itself, yes is a short walk down a steep back yard hill. That isn't so bad, but don't think it's a place to dock your boat or Sea-doo or even walk along the shoreline. It's 2 ft of mud that will swallow your shoes.
The family room was large and roomy, kitchen well stocked, loved the decks for star-gazing and seeing the deer walk around, bathrooms taken care of, bedrooms all seemed comfortable and gave the 11 of us plenty of space. The pictures on the walls are a bit creepy so when the lights when out for 2 days, boy did we have imaginations run wild.
Being that the electricity outage had to have been a very rare event, we agreed that we'd stay here again.
PS. Central Coast Getaways contacted the owner on our behalf to express our complaints and uninhabitable situation, and the owners were nice enough to refund some of our stay.
Good property. Interior is evidently older & has been lived in, but good open living area.
Good property. Only 2 car allowance had to be worked out, since we needed 3. But home was clean & comfortable & very accessible to the lake. People friendly in all aspects.
Great time, plus great service
Great experience, only one short fall was having to drive the car's to the overflow parking. Other than that great service and experience.
